They're funny and thorough and I love the banter at the beginning. Liza is hilarious, here for her. Liza's commentary and jokes are spot on. Kara, on the other hand is becoming so cringe, please stop turning sentences into song (it's truly awful hun..) Lately, her speaking voice sounds like she a chronic cig smoker, it's unlistenable, unless you enjoy the sound of a gravely voice that sounds like she constantly needs to clear her throat. Worst yet, she chooses to make this voice.. Liza will ask her a question and she'll snap right out of it.. stop trying to hard please.. CRINGE Kara CRINGEEEEE, your voice sounds like a broken kazoo & your singing makes people stop listening.. be more like Liza.

Stop talking about Luigi

This has long been my absolute favorite podcast, but in downgrading my rating because I’m honestly really disturbed and disgusted by Liza’s recent Luigi Mangione obsession. Have whatever opinions you want, but maybe keep these ones off the pod? I’m as progressive as the hosts are, and I never mind their political convos — but Liza’s riding extremely hard for a murderer, and it’s an extremely gross look.

Used to love the podcast. I’ve been skipping past the first 30 minutes for quite some time now. The political talk has gotten too much. However now the political talk is bleeding into the meat of the episode. At this point, the rhetoric is abusive. I just can’t listen anymore.

i love both of the ladies. this podcast is so funny and entertaining HOWEVER liza is constantly interrupting kara and it is so annoying. i actually want to hear about kara’s life and perspective so it’s annoying when she is constantly getting interrupted.

What else would you listen to?!

I love this podcast ! I was a die -hard original recipe girl & also loved SVU (obviously)! Had fallen off the SVU map with adulthood, parenthood, etc! This podcast has brought me back in!!!! I don't have to watch the eps they discuss but it's always a bonus when there is one I can remember! Often their show triggers me to watch an episode and this amazing podcast has provided me w so much appreciation for the show, cast and guest stars. NOW let's talk about the amazing hosts! I met Liza in Houston after her stand up show (hammered and forgot what I wanted to say) but not too hammered to see How hilarious her stand up was and so honored I met this amazing woman in person! Kara is the mom we all want to be in play group with! These ladies don't hold back on their opinions and I love that so much! I don't watch real Housewives or drag race and I want them talk About it all MORE!!!!!!!! Keep taking ladies ! You are beautiful !!!! I could listen to these two hilarious women talk about paint colors and be entertained!!!!

You’re Losing Me (Listeners’ Version)

Long-time listener who is very close to unsubscribing. The amount of time Liza consistently interrupts and interjects when it’s Kara’s turn to speak is insane. So is the fact that she has not acknowledged or changed this behavior since the podcast’s inception. It’s genuinely difficult to listen to without getting second-hand frustration. Add to that both hosts’ fundamental misunderstanding of how the legal system and prosecuting and defending a criminal case works (ex: slamming prosecutors’ decisions not to bring charges or to dismiss when it would clearly violate a defendant’s constitutional rights to do otherwise) and I can’t say I look forward to listening anymore.

I truly love this podcast. It’s a nice blend of funny and true crime and I love SVU. But Liza, girl you gotta let Kara finish a story! The intros are funny, but basically an update on Liza’s life and a few words from Kara, when Liza doesn’t have something to say at that very moment. “WAIITTT!” should be Liza’s catch phrase.

Loyal listener slipping away

Honestly used to love the show and love Kara and Liza. I’ve listened to every episode and usually laugh along to the personal stories, reality TV summaries, and side jokes. Hate to admit it, but all the negative reviews have a trend. Liza is becoming insufferable. She is beyond self absorbed turning every sentence back to herself. Bullies and starts to turn on Kara if she ever disagrees with her…so much that you can tell when Kara purposefully pivots back so Liza doesn’t yell at her. She speaks incredibly negative on parenting and how awful pretty much every parent she’s ever mentioned is—which is rich coming from someone who has never had a child. The narrative is getting tired and old and unfortunately Liza’s “taking over” in a bad way. *edit to add—Liza fully and openly supporting a murderer is disgusting. I’m a hard core democrat and agree the healthcare system in America needs to change. But supporting the murder of someone ain’t it. Full stop. Go get help Liza, you’re unhinged.

Love the show, Liza let Kara talk!!

Love this show, been listening from the beginning and this show actually got me into SVU, after listening to you guys talk about it for a full year. It’s now my go to show when my husband is out of town or I’m on a work trip. I love listening to these hilarious gals retelling the shows and crimes. My one note is that sometimes it’s hard to hear Liza ask Kara a question (“how’s your family doing with the fires?”) and then talk over Kara for multiple minutes about whatever is on her mind. Or Kara will get excited about a topic then Liza comes in hot with a total non sequitur and just moves the conversation somewhere else. Maybe that’s just how their friendship works…but it sounds pretty rude to an outsider. Anyway love the show!

I’ve been listening for years, but at this point, I think I’m kind of hate-listening. I’m not even sure I enjoy this podcast. I usually just skip over the first 40 minutes because it’s usually just talking about kids, Bravo and Taylor Swift. It’s kind of insufferable. I really like the actual premise of the show, which is why I think I keep listening, but the hosts really don’t do it for me. Thankful for the skip ahead button.

I love that these podcasters love SVU but hate conservatives. I don’t allow republicans to have fun with me anymore either— you guys blew it with all the fun people in this world. Now F off and hangout with all the joyless, brainless people you voted for. You deserve them!! Liza and Kara tell it like it is. I still think Taylor Swift’s music is horrible and trite, but I will always love this podcast.

Agree with their stance on politics and the intersection with SVU - all the 1 stars are people not willing to wake up and realize that they voted for policies and people against women and victims. I always laugh when I listen and love Liza and Kara!

I used to love listening but now I just feel like Kara and Liza don’t even like each other. Liza takes up the whole intro with boring Taylor Swift talk and constantly interrupts Kara. I feel like Kara talks way too fast so Liza can’t cut her off half the time. Their passion seems to be gone, maybe time to move on.

Glad to see these women using their voices to exercise their rights the people who so vehemently disagree with them love to cling to when expressing their own views. This show and the one it discusses heavily focus on women who become victims. It’s good to see the hosts bring that fight to keep justice for women in the forefront into the real world.
