I really wish this show was less obviously scripted. It feels like a children’s museum audio-guide, overly rehearsed, and ultimately dry and unengaging at worst. The worst are the painfully obvious, disingenuous questions between Ari and Jesse. Feels so patronizing as a listener. The recordings from guests/interviewees is great, and there is great information there that can actually listen to. But, the mix of these authentic interviews and rehearsed parts makes for difficult listening because its so stylistically disjointed. It’s too bad because I think the stories/content is wonderful. Hope they will consider this…

There is no point to the stories. It’s just a bunch of people whining and saying obvious things. I really wanted to enjoy and went through 3 episodes but I can’t listen to this middle school project anymore.

This podcast has found such an important niche on telling the stories of birds and their connections with people. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait for the next season!

This is the kind of information we need if we are going to preserve life on earth. I am learning so much by listening to threatened.
