I cannot tell you how helpful and eye opening this podcast has been to me. It’s all about the parts of working in Art that are super mysterious, weird and totally foreign to creatives and artists. All those things that we’re really bad at - they break it down into manageable and understandable concepts and give you solid steps for making it happen.

Loving my weekly Artist Buisness Plan Pod Cast! Just finished another episode and really appreciate the indispensable advice that Jame’s and Alex are sharing! Loved Karin Braun’s insight and compassion about being yourself when sharing on social media and also really enjoyed Danielle Krysa of The Jealous Curator was so fresh and funny and brilliant in her insights as well. Such a great dichotomy of information from all types of artist perspective !

Alex gets great interview subjects! Some of the guests are doling out important career advice such as the most recent one with art fair expert Pauline Loeb-Obrenan and some are just great interesting voices such as Christopher Jobson founder of Colossal. I really look forward to seeing who they talk to next!

Listening to this podcast is extremely helpful to me as an artist-business person. So much valuable information. I feel like I’m earning another degree by listening. Maybe we can earn a PFA from all these lessons. So many key elements here to help drive your art into a successful career, this is all the stuff my art school left out.

My experience with artist business books and sites is that the authors go into too much detail. Artists want to do art not read about business models. This site is accessible for the artist. It makes the business of art more useable and easy to understand. I am an artist and I love listening to the information on this site. I use it and benefit from it.

This podcast has given me so much insight on how “real life” professional artists market their own work to create a successful entrepreneurial business! Just as peanut butter pairs perfectly with jelly, this podcast and it’s content has truly showed me how a healthy and knowledgeable mindset on business pairs perfectly with artistic talent.
