I loved this podcast but am becoming increasingly annoyed with Jason and Will. Will interrupts everyone with his lame jokes, and Jason is trying to be too cool for school. However, I LOVE Sean as he’s so down to earth and asks questions to which we want answers.

I SERIOUSLY adore you guys. Each of you individually, but also as a team. I mean - I totally love you. But a little bit of a critique. You kinda interrupt your guests - a lot - and a lot more lately. Poor Arianna had to ask to finish her story. It’s been distracting lately. . 😢 You enjoy each other so much, which is a huge part of the show’s chemistry, and is wonderful, but your private jokes and jibes toward each other have been, imo, taking away from the interviews a bit. Often it’s hard to even follow what any of you are saying. Especially your guest. And I am an attentive listener! 😂 Save most of your so sweet, and hysterical comments for the beginning and the end. Again - love you to death! Just trying to watch your backs. 😘

I liked this at first, but can’t listen anymore because Will Arnett has to interrupt everyone to NameDrop and put other people down. One star.

I catch up on these episodes once every few months, and I just got to this one. Jason Bateman, self-identified as an “MSNBC morning-to-night watcher” asked Walz how he can get through to conservatives that are in an information bubble. HAHAHAHA! Then talked about tribalism, wondered how Republicans aren’t more discerning about getting information and facts, etc. Wow. Incredible. “Facts are on our side.” HAHAHAHAHA. I thought he was kind of intelligent and didn’t REALLY believe the MSNBC party line. Nope. Disappointed again. Shucks.

I have been listening since day 1 and I have heard every episode. I’m just a few weeks behind right now so I’m just now hearing the holiday bonus with Conan. This is one of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life. I am driving alone and cracking up, laughing out loud with tears in my eyes. love this show.!

I listen to mostly every episode and enjoy it…clearly, or I’d not return. The only liability is that more recently it was devolved into too much “inside baseball” with the a Hollywood spin. I don’t need names of actors identified (I’m not Tracy) and I have a good handle on pop culture…but it’s the long-winded exchanges about acting method or camera lens choices or the occasional runs of blatant sucking up to guests (well beyond compliments) that can get out of hand…it can get a bit tedious to listen to. Maybe it’s them understanding the delicate ego actor thing, eh? Maybe that’s just how things work in the industry. Yes, when people get together from the same line of work, they end up talking about work. Everybody does that; 100% normal. And yes, it’s a bit more interesting than most jobs. But maybe avoid the DEEP weed discussion of the entertainment business. End of day…I’m a faithful listener and not going anywhere.

Been listening a couple of years. Love it! Always loved Bateman’s sarcasm, but I have become a fan of all three. Sean and Will have great taste in music, and I think they’d enjoy my podcast-The Greatest Playlist Ever! Used the conventional method I’ve enjoyed listening to on SmartLess. Catching up on past episodes and just listened to Steven Spielberg and this is definitely one of my FAVORITE episodes ever! It’s not even that I’m a huge fan of his, but, this episode did make me love him more! He’s such a genuine person! This episode was fantastic!!

I truly enjoy the podcast, and the chemistry of their longtime friendship! I often laugh out loud while listening to the show. They’re honestly not the best interviewers, which they often admit themselves. But the way they interact with one another and the guest you end up not caring. I would give the show 4, maybe even 5 stars except for one criticism that really bugs me when listening, and that is the length, and frequency of the ads! This show does more, and longer ad breaks than any other podcast I listen to, and it drives me nuts. Other than that, I genuinely enjoy listening!

Love the show. 4 out of 5 only because you have 1 female interview to 30+ males. There are just as many, if not more accomplished/interesting/conversational women as there are men. Do better.

What an amazing podcast! Have listened to EVERY episode. Hard to pick my favorite thing about it, but I would say it’s… Will: “Sean’s favorite thing is to pick the hard one!” Oh, nevermind.

Great to hear the topic discussed outside of the usual venues by fellas not mired in the UAP culture but having open minds when informed by the terrific Elizondo. It takes all kinds of people working towards more understanding to get there. Stephen Basset of Paradigm Research would be another terrific guest. Smart, dedicated & often hilarious. And Richard Dolan, same qualities. You guys can help reduce the stigma which still exists by being funny & curious about everything.

I love all these guys, but get so irritated when they derail a question they just asked with stupid jokes. The guest never gets a chance to answer because they decide to make some lame attempt at humor.

No-one is looking to 3 out of touch, rich white guys who can’t see they live in a bubble for their political insights. Lefties like you ignore the realities and challenges of most of us. How do you not see that you are no longer part of a movement that wants to improve society, but rather a cult that wants to control it? It’s healthy to listen to others with opposing views from your own, but I’ll stick to those who at least encourage critical thinking and dialogue. Half the country voted for Trump - DO YOU HEAR US NOW?

First of all 5 stars all around! I’ve listened to every episode. Went in liking Jason best, and now it’s a tie between Sean and Will… sorry Jason. I know you don’t care but I have some guest suggestions: Catherine O'hara, Sofía Vergara, Mariska Hargitay, Nate Bargatze, Amy Poehler (duh), Mary Steenburgen, Jason Segel, Sandra Oh. Dumbest podcast ever. Who is next? Alex Jones?

I liked this podcast when it started in 2020 can no longer listen to the one-sided political views. I don’t really care what side you’re on, but both sides should have a voice. I wish I could say I’m going to miss listening to you but not anymore.

The show on UFOs (UAP) was ridiculous . Often stating they aren’t conspiracy people while spouting conspiracies as if something not understood is true. Get back to funny and stop pushing conspiracies. Don’t let their fame influence your own intelligence. Skip this episode and you aren’t missing anything important.

I love all the movies and TV series Jason Bateman has done. I’m a huge fan. These three guys are amazing together. It’s awesome when you do a podcast with your best friends it makes the vibe so much better this show is hilarious. Everybody needs to listen

Always love this show but I just finished the Luis Elizondo episode and agree with them, bring on more intellectuals as well! This was a great episode and a healthy bama ace of just cutting up with the guys and getting something new!

As much as I absolutely love listening to episodes with actors, athletes, musicians, and celebrities; this episode with Luis Elizondo was absolutely mind-blowing. The science that he broke down and the unexplainable facts and experiences that he shared, I need more of that information. Please have more scientists and academics when possible. Smartless actively making us smarter

Absolutely loved this episode! All the stars are fine, but episodes like this with Luis Elizondo are what make the name of the show stick! I hope they can get more interviews like this.

Well I used to like this show until they got political. Anyone voting for Kamala and the delusion that is the radical left just loses my respect. I just can’t believe they were so foolish as to vote for someone who stands for nothing. It shows how out of touch almost every celebrity is. I’m glad the world is waking up and stopping with the celebrity worship. They are so unintelligent as to believe the lies mainstream media fed them so no thank you. Y’all should have stuck to being funny.

I loved the show and all talented hosts very dearly and never and never missed the show in recent years until this election season when they started preaching leftist Democrat’s propaganda and even brought Obama and whatnot on their show to preach listeners to vote for Democrats. They lost me and far many of their fans right there. I signed up for your entertainment and cultural values, not your political nonsense. Sorry. I don’t think I will ever listen to the show again even though I love the hosts very much.

Great chemistry between the hosts of the show, but the profound and extensive gushing about the guest (whomever it is) is so over-the-top that it turns into complete and total cringe. My husband finally looked at me, just before we unsubscribed, and said, “gross man, I can’t handle it anymore”. Yeah, ditto. And. to be even more blunt, the questions (on the periphery of the gushing) are so insanely boring - most likely due to the premise of having two of them not know who the guest is, that it leaves them flat-footed and struggling. Lots and lots and lots of industry insider ball; it’s a giant snooze. I’m sure the guests leave feeling pretty high though.

2025 Goal - not to talk politics on Smartless. Don’t ruin the good stuff. As you can see over half the country voted for Trump. Deductive reasoning would then have it that you have quite a few non Kamala loving listeners. Just leave the politics to the political shows. BEGGING this time.

Love the show! Have you ever noticed that Will seems to take on part of the accent of the guest when they have one?

Sean’s barista monolog on Will and Grace is my lifetime favorite comedic performance. Can never see it enough. Please, Will, you’re very funny, but stop interrupting Sean every time he tries to ask a guest a question. It’s really a thing. Jason is 100% in all categories. The three of you are magic.

I love the show and really like all three hosts. The only thing I would change is who does the ads. They have a great voice in Will, even Bateman has a decent voice. Instead of leaving the ads to them they have Sean do them with his high, screechy voice. There is one where he is attempting to be humorous by screaming and it’s just face punching horrible. Other than that these guys never disappoint, great show!
