I Catch Killers with Gary Jubelin

After 25 years working in homicide, former Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin is sitting down across the interview room table from cops, crims, addicts, victims, small-time cheats and big-town lawyers, asking them to share their stories.

One of the country’s most successful podcasts, I Catch Killers reveals the reality of life and death inside the justice system. Gary talks about the big things with an open mind - good and evil, hope and suffering, joy, tragedy - and redemption. I Catch Killers is a True Crime Australia production.

    It’s a good podcast
I feel like compared to different podcast it’s definitely unique but I guess I was expecting like an in depth view of maybe some Australian investigations similar to other American true crime podcast it just doesn’t hit the same

    Stalked too
Your story was so validating!! Our stories are very similar. I too was on a podcast and I had 11 people email me directly after - with similar experiences surrounding a specific person. I was floored! I saved all 3000 items and photoshopped images. I now speak and write on the issue. The whole thing backfired on the ones in the center of it.

    I Catch Killers
I am enjoying your podcast “I Catch Killers...”. The stories are interesting and to hear the different points of view helps to understand what police and criminals go through and think about. The only thing that I would like to see changes is the volume of each interview. I listen through headphones/ear buds and have the volume turned as high as possible and still struggle to hear parts of the interviews.

Excellent - both fun & very insightful
This is the podcast we all need to hear, to understand what life as a cop entails... told with immense humor & repartee. Brilliant!

    Raw & real
You can listen to many true crime podcasts regurgitating facts, but it’s rare to really get an inside view into policing. This podcast is different it takes you right inside the world of a hardened detective. It’s raw and real and unvarnished. Thanks Gary for sharing your experiences. I’m glad you have found a new career path however I can’t help but think NSW police lost a valuable resource when you left their service.

    The importance of co workers
Being part of the health care profession I understand the need for distance, humor and compartmentalization of some of the things that are experienced while at work. Having a great co-worker, whatever that may be, makes the situation manageable. The humor and repartee and inside jokes of the very first episode hooked me.

Love the interview format and obvious respect and friendship as we get to walk through these epic criminal investigations with expert detectives. And, sorry, but I also love the awesome accents.
