eabobeckExcellent podcastI’m a monogastic researcher and nutritionist and mostly work in poultry nutrition and immunology, with some canine work. Love the data behind the decisions!
-
HandsomecoltonI appreciate you Dr. Jyme!I didn’t know what I didn’t know until I started listening to your podcast. I grew up in a non-horse family, throw the pony some alfalfa, and move on to the more important cows. As an adult and a multi-horse owner, your podcast has been such an eye opener! I have embraced equine nutrition. I now have happy, and healthy horses. Their feet are strong, their coats shine, they are eager workers, appropriate weight, , and healthy. Thank you so much!

DeFreitasPHThis podcast is a great tool for our horse care regimen! We feed over 50 head of AQHA show, breeding, and growing horses products from Bluebonnet Intensify and Stride Animal Health lines. This podcast is a great tool for expanding our knowledge base and understanding of horse health and nutrition. Thank you!

FlyingSquirrelGirlResearch Backed Facts made Fun!Okay maybe not fun but fascinating, informative, and easy to understand and follow. Dr Jyme answers questions and addresses common supplements and ingredients, helping me make the best feed chooses for my horses. Very well done podcast. Note: Dr Jyme developed the supplements and feed she recommends, so it stands to reason that she would suggest them to others. I don’t find it pushy and she doesn’t hold back information to allow you to not choose other products, she just has done the work and has made the best she can, so obv she believes in them.
-
KALchicoLove these podcasts!Dr. Jyme’s podcasts are filled with excellent information about caring for and feeding your horse. There is lots of misinformation out there in the world that people still consider to be true so it is good to get the real facts from Dr. Jyme. The Feed Room Chemist is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Thank you Dr. Jyme for taking your time to educate all of us!

Savannah3645Wonderful Equine Nutrition Information❤️This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. As someone with a thoroughbred as well as a miniature, who have different nutritional needs, I feel that I can find useful information to cater a nutritional plan to suit each of them! I really love how Dr. Jyme cites the most up to date research studies in order to provide all us horse owners with the best possible nutritional information for our horses.
-
NicoleRP1996Excellent podcast ❤️I am so beyond happy with this podcast! I have been battling with so many equine nutrition questions and I now realize how much I didn’t know about equine nutrition! I am so excited with how much I am learning and how much I am going to be able to help my young thoroughbred with his nutrition and development! I highly recommend ANY equestrian or horse owner give this podcast a listen 😊
-
cmk219Highly Recommended❣️Dr. Jyme’s podcast has become a valuable resource to me as a horse owner. I appreciate her thoughtful and informative sharing of research based information on equine nutrition and overall care. While there are many sources of information on equine care, it’s prudent to involve your veterinarian and also do your own research before acting on antidotal information found online.
-
kindsey2022Something for EverythingI have an hour commute and I wanted to use that time to sharpen my knowledge and learn something new. This podcast is excellent: easy to understand, real world topics covered, and the information given is SCIENCE. I have actually implemented nuggets of info from this podcast to use on my own horses.
-
youtubesmd30 minute commercialI use to really enjoy this podcast. I felt like I was learning good information for feeding my horse until I realized it’s just one giant commercial for Blue Bonnet feeds. Even though it was frustrating to get in my area, I tried their product. It was horrible.
-
DJ SW IdahoIs Teff low carbAwesome information,Clearly stated and understood
-
mtyler1310So much good stuff!Equine nutrition is one area I feel like I lack knowledge in so when this podcast showed up in my show recommendations I had to listen. I just started it this morning but I’ve been bingeing it every free moment I’ve had today. There is so much helpful information! I can’t wait to dive in deeper and learn more. Thank you Dr. Jyme for sharing your knowledge!! If you want to learn more about equine nutrition you’ve got to listen to this podcast!
-
somebodymelSo happy I found this podcast!Thank you for creating this. It is so helpful AND interesting. I listen to it all the time and am always learning new things.

-
Jill Dutkowski2 thumbs up from a vet!I have been listening to this podcast for a few months now. As a veterinarian who also owns 6 horses, I appreciate a review on nutrition regularly- as well as learning many new things and keeping up to date on research. I have ordered 2 supplements from Stride after learning about their benefits (Fish Oil Factor and Lifeline+). Can’t wait to see how my performance horses and broodmares respond. Keep up the great work! One of my absolute favs!
-
ac852Excellent informationI found the podcast when looking for a specific topic related to my horse, but have subscribed and stayed listening because the information is so good and goes beyond just nutrition. So happy I found this show!
-
ChrisserCHorse Nutrition De-mystifiedI appreciate how Dr Nichols explains the ins and outs of horse feeding. I own six horses with very different needs and thanks to her explanations and recommendations all my herd members are doing great. I hope she continues to have the podcast. It’s been a lifesaver.
-
steddy2LOVE this podcastI absolutely love this podcast. It’s science based and SUPER informative. It’s so nice to hear and be able to see studies regarding horse nutrition rather than follow the crowd because so-and-so says this works. Thank you for this!!!!
-
carsonnmarieAwesome!Great information. Dr. Jyme really breaks things down comprehensively and easy to understand. Love this podcast!
-
rireedThe best.I am always excited to dive into Dr. Jyme’s podcast. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and informative! She explains everything in great detail and really wants the best for everyone’s horses. I used to be intimidated by equine nutrition because I felt bad for not understanding what my horses needed. Now I’m confident in my nutrition plan for them and am so relieved about it. It’s all thanks to Dr. Jyme, thank you so much! You’re appreciated.💕🐴
-
Ericacreel2016Great educational podcast!I personally really enjoy this podcast! I seen other reviews complaining about it’s just marketing but in all reality to be able to provide a nutrition podcast there has to be products to be able to completely explain things for individualize diets per horse needs. And products in a whole to provide proper nutrition it’s not really marketing when you can go to a product on the website and watch the webinar from the doctor breaking everything down about that product. That is quality and years of research and time! I personally don’t feed the products do to location but the products I do feed are similar to some of strides. Thanks so much for the podcast! To the hateful people, no question is dumb. People of all levels are in the horse industry and the beginners/ new equine people are learning! Be kind!
-
mandaleeeeeee802Can’t say enough good thingsI used to love this podcast but it really just became advertising for the company she works for and now for herself. Used to be much more interesting topics and she only answers the dumbest questions. Bums me out now when I keep hope it will just be informational again
