We talk about content. How it's made. Why it's good. Why it's very bad. Sorry in advance for the British bits.

    Strange show
Isn’t Ryan Broderick the serial plagiarist who got canned from Buzzfeed? Why would anyone listen to a word he says? Weird that he has a show.

Have They Ever Left Their Screens?
    An ouroboros of stupidity.

    Didn’t stick the landing
Listened to about 10 minutes of their final episode, and wished they had just taken the “Hello Internet” route of fading away. Self-indulgent to the extreme, which made me realize that this show ending was probably the best thing that could happen to it (well, except for the actual ending, which was truly the worst).

    internet genie usses
I've been following Ryan for years – he's a journalist and internet historian. Luke is newer to me but is a super smart journalist too. In addition to being informative, they're fun and funny. If something culturally significant happens online I eagerly await their next episode. Hope they make this show for years to come. ***not thrilled with the new producer they added. not to be mean, but he doesn't add to the show and interrupts the flow. also disappointed that if they insisted on bringing on producer that they didn't make an effort to bring on a woman, queer person or person of color to bring a new perspective.

Love Luke + Ryan + Allen, more guests?
This show is great, love what they're doing, would be cool to hear from more people who know about the internet though
  • pods5evah
More please, also live events in the US?
Love this show, love Ryan and Luke (and the new producer too!) I keep hearing them talk about shows in London though, what about the US? Maybe Content Mines in Brooklyn?

Love the addition of Producer Alan
Ryan and Luke have always been great at breaking down internet stories, but really enjoying Producer Alan in the mix as well, though not sure how much we should trust someone who watches TV show faster than normal…

    Self referential and reverential
This is exactly what you think you would get from a podcast by two people who clearly spend way too much time engaging in, analyzing, and explaining social media. They find everything they do utterly fascinating and don’t seem to realize that humankind existed for quite a long time before they were born. Occasionally amusing and frequently tedious.

    Who knew?
Honestly, I was blown away when I heard that 1:6 ratio of mustard and sweet pickle relish added to a standard brownie recipe would make it “better.” Boy, was I wrong! What resulted were THE GREATEST BROWNIES OF ALL TIME. They were sweet, moist, and just a little zippy! Thanks Content Mines! Gotta go, my Aunt Cecilia is calling me for the recipe!

    Content Mines Is Great
Content Mines is great. I've been following Ryan Broderick since the Internet Explorer podcast which this podcast takes the best parts of and expands it into a reasonable conversation. I love this podcast and look forward each new episode especially after something crazy happens on the internet.

    100% Pee Concentrate
While drinking pee, first thing in the morning, is often recommended by so-called “experts.” I’ve come to the conclusion that waiting until late night will work as a cold-brew of sorts and contain the maximum potency of that good kidney juice. I personally recommend to my clients to drink one full jar of pee, the squeeze of a lemon and one (1) dash of salt. Eating fruits, will add a fruity smell and taste that can only be fully appreciated once the pee has had to marinate in the internal organs, giving it a brisk, body, an aroma that the first pee of the day can’t compete with.

    Repentance
I want to take this opportunity to apologize to Ryan for one time saying that he looked like James Spader if James Spader only ate gas station food. Ryan is cute like Harry Styles and this podcast is wonderful. Thanks boys

I was expecting a basketball podcast, was pleasantly surprised
From the title I thought this would be about the Portland Trailblazers, but it's actually two funny guys talking about WEIRD internet stuff. Probably more interesting - keep it up guys!

The heroes we need in these troubled times
Truly, these two lads have done the unthinkable: they’ve started a podcast, and truly we are all better for it. Can’t wait for more of this
