    Companion unity
I love listening to the discussions about Saints because I wish I had more people to discuss it with in my own life! All of the co-hosts are fun to listen to and voice some of my own questions, thoughts and feelings. And I’m grateful to the historians and writers that come on to add some more context and break down the book for people who aren’t as familiar with the history… like me. All-in-all, I’m just as excited to listen to the podcast as the book itself.

    Inspiring!
Knowing the back story to the chapters and the writing of Saints gives the book much more meaning and impact. Thanks for doing this!

I listened to Saints volume 3E11
I listened to part of this earlier and finished the last part today. As I heard the story of your ancestor who chose the gospel over his life, I felt so moved. I want to live so that I can feel this way always. I want to tell others. Tears came to my eyes. How do the hosts keep from crying I wonder. It was such a sweet experience.

    Greater Understanding
After reading the book and listening to the podcast in its entirety, I can truly say that I have a greater understanding and connection to the early members of the Church of Jesus Christ. Truly astounding backstories of the books in this podcast.

Great for those who love Church history, but don't love history books!
I love Church history, but I really don't have the attention span for reading pure historical books. This one is so easy to listen to and I learn a ton! Thank you!

    Phenomenal stories
This is one of my all time favorite podcasts. It’s the perfect combination of history, doctrine, and faith. The scholars that are interviewed are genuine and relatable. It’s not too academic and not too sugar coated. Fits right in the middle. I’m hopeful this type of content continues forever. Thanks for all you’re doing.

    I love it!
I love the additional stories and insights given in each episode! I already loved Saints volume 1 and 2, but with these additional insights I love them even more. I can definitely say that although I do not have ancestors that crossed the plains and settled out west that these are my people! Their stories resonate so well with me. Thanks to all of the historians who did so much work to make these stories come to light.

    Episode 30
Love the podcast but your guest on this episode -A steady onward movement -may have misspoke about Susa Young. She said she was the second daughter of Brigham Young. Maybe the second daughter of a certain wife but it wasn’t his second daughter of all his daughters. His second daughter was Vilate. He was first married to Miriam Works and had two daughters with her before she passed away. I am a descendant of the first daughter Elizabeth. Anyway, just thought I would share that information.

    Really enjoying this!
This podcast really enhances my experience reading Saints, volume 2. I’m listening to a chapter of the book and then listening to the corresponding episode of the podcast. It’s a great way to remember what I’ve read and put it in context. I enjoy the guests that bring more information and additional stories about the topics and situations covered.

    Love mostly everything!
Love this podcast! I love all the guests they have, I love the move to co-hosts in season two (though I really miss Sarah Eyring), love the insights and the extra knowledge brought by everyone participating. I really think this podcast does a great job of making this extra knowledge and insight accessible to regular people. The only thing that bothers me a little (and the First Vision podcast does this, too), is the frequency with which music is used to transition. It wasn’t always like that (I’m about five episodes into season two, so I’m not sure if it continues), but I think it is just wonderful to hear everyone talk and don’t think the music is needed quite so often.

    Uplifting and Engaging
If you are studying Church History especially by reading Saints and you want to go a layer deeper, this podcast offers an easy and extremely accesible means to do just that. Saints was written to appeal to as many people as possible and so if you find yourself wanting to the next level of depth, this is a good place to start.
