Mitch is amazing he super knowledgeable and the podcast is very informative and fun to listen to.

Really really great material here. Sometimes there is a price spike on cheap old obscure cards if his suggestion becomes popular. He really plays by his budget principles as well. Has said he won some expensive prize cards in the past but traded or sold them away. Stand up guy, really.

Mitch dares to delve into the realm of the possible rather than just the actual. He asks the “What if” questions and has thoughtful and entertaining answers. And when you need a budget replacement for those crazy expensive cards, he knows how to get you there, usually at the cost of a couple mana and (ha) a few quarters.

I listen to a couple other Magic podcasts, but I really enjoy the interesting thought exercises put into creating the topics. Keep it up!

I just started watching this YouTube channel then found this podcast. I think it would be better talking about decks more than bans and un-bans. Overall, great show!

The commanders quarters is the definitive launching point for entering commander. The decks are interesting, unique and best of all budget friendly! I’m constantly impressed by Mitch’s ability to find little used synergistic cards. Keep up the good work!

Commander’s quarters is your go-to place for all things commander! It is a great example of showing how you can play this great format without breaking your piggy bank! I am delighted to have found this gem and definitely think this channel will continue its rise as more commander sets come, especially with the coming 2020 year!

About a year ago, one of my kids decided to get into magic. Since he knew I played in the 90’s he asked for me to teach him. Long story short, he lost interest and mine re-sparked. I quickly lost interest in standard and could not compete in modern so leaked more towards limited but enjoyed deck building tremendously. Came across commander and was hooked but started getting frustrated not knowing about 20 years worth of cards and seen a lot of expensive staples. Enter in YouTube. Seen several of the staples today but came across a brand new channel (for a born again player) that focused on budget, the Commander’s Quarters. It allowed be not only to build decks on a budget but taught me a lot of cards I’d never heard of before. Also gave me staple decks that I could slowly upgrade if at all as they are amazingly well tuned. Mitch now has several bits of content that not only tell you what to build but how. This podcast follows that trend! Super excited to what it will teach me. Can’t suggest it enough along with all The Commander’s Quarters content!!!

Mitch is incredibly knowledgeable and has tons of great insights into budget EDH. Whether you are a long-time brewer, or new to Magic, his deck techs will have something for you. As a normally very expensive hobby, Mitch has made the 4 EDH decks I own a possibility. Truly remarkable.

This podcast is awesome, and makes budget Commander totally accessible for anyone. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone interested in EDH, or Magic: the Gathering in general.

I have been following Mitch and his Commander’s Quarters YouTube channel since almost the beginning, his creativity, knowledge, and overall attitude towards magic is astounding. His quality of videos kept growing and now he’s evolved into podcasts as well, and that quality didn’t fall. If you happen to be a budget magic player then this is the guy for you, his decks are well made and put up more than a fight when it comes time to get the job done. If your not a budget player and that doesn’t interest you as much, you could always watch his Commander Two Cents episodes one YouTube or even these podcasts where you can see another opinion on whatever topic he is covering. I have watched every episode and podcast so far and I plan on keeping it that way. Great Show, Great Host, Keep is the good work!

EDH is considered to be the most played format in all of Magic the Gathering, and creators like Mitch bring accesible, well thought out and well put together content that appeals to players that are just starting out or are veteran deckbuilders. Give it a listen and join in on the format!

Magic: the Gathering is a field rich with controversy and consideration. Mitch and Co. tackle topics that effects the edh community as a whole, in a way that only someone in his position can, as both a growing institution in the community, and as a player who sets restrictions on gameplay, that many players can relate to. (Mitch’s savory voice doesn’t hurt either)

This content has kept me interested in EDH. I look forward to the deck techs and thoroughly enjoy the budget minded focus. Give it a listen and you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to see how far this thing will go.

Mitch does an amazing job of showcasing cards many might not think about or may have forgotten existed because they don’t see much play. I can’t say how many of my decks have adopted many of his suggestions so that I could save money for that next deck.

I love making decks, but never have the time or the knowledge of over 20,000 cards available to the Commander format. Mitch is a genius, and I have learned more about deckbuilding and about budget Magic from him than from anything else. He is personable, knowledgeable, and to the point. I cannot ask anything more from a podcaster. This is absolutely worth a listen.
