As someone in the process of applying to the reserves (shooting for 14N or 32E, oddly enough), all the bountiful insight offered by the hosts on this show is invaluable. Thank you guys so much for the time and effort poured into this series.

This podcast is a great resource to anyone currently serving or aspiring to serve as an officer in the USAF (or any branch of service). Colin and Reed have poured their heart and soul into this project and the superb content of each episode is a tribute to their efforts. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I look forward to each new episode every week!

I definitely cringed when an episode about meetings popped into my podcast app. HOWEVER!! It was a great episode and loved the discussion. This podcast has the exact information I was looking for. I am applying for OTS after graduating from the University of Louisville and have been trying to get as much information about the process as possible. All of the episodes concerning OTS have been helpful. It’s also nice to hear about the details of life as an officer.

This has already been said, but this show came at the right time for me. I’m entering OTS in a few months and I listened to their deep dive into OTS and it was great to hear Reed’s perspective. Now I know how to get dessert at OTS :) Thanks for the show and keep up the great content.

This podcast came at a perfect time! I am looking to join the Air Force as an officer through the OTS program. My recruiter has been away at training, and this jewel of a podcast is just what I have needed during this time.

I’m glad I found this podcast. I am about to start University and AFROTC with the hopes of getting a bachelor’s degree and becoming a commissioned officer, and this podcast is my go to for all my information. I thought the lack of guidance and clear information was a personal problem, but I’m glad to know that the machine is working as intended and I shouldn’t expect to have my hand held. I am going to go into this with realistic expectations, a good moral standing, and ready to sacrifice. Thank you gentlemen :)

It’s nice to have multiple approaches to leadership and their different experiences in commissioning. Would suggest for cadets to listen to to get a broader, profession of arms perspective.

I’ve looked at numerous articles, forums, and official AF documents in an attempt learn enough about the AF before I begin the process of applying for OTS. I always wished it was possible to talk to someone (besides a recruiter) who is well-versed in this, and this podcast is essentially that. They filled in all the gaps of information I didn’t know were there. They define all the terms they use, which is useful for civilians who are trying to learn about this process. Definitely give this podcast a listen if you’re considering an AF officer career from any starting point.

Each episode contains a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that is extremely relevant to AFROTC Cadets. However, no matter who you are, you will gain a deeper understanding for what it means to be an Air Force Officer after listening to this podcast.
