Chuck and his team produce a very informative and always interesting podcast. Always take him up on his beer offer!

This show can be critical when it’s needed and have rightful pride in the team when they play to The level they are capable of. I’ve listened to others but this show is the only one I follow.

Have to admit, scary how much I agree with Chuck. Decisions being made today are recockulous. Selling and buying to make the club worse and rid urselves of leadeship…smh. Keep up the great commentary and insights. Thx

I really enjoy the Bayern content. It’s interesting to compare some of the hosts’ opinions to my own observations. The entertainment update is one part that loses me every time. It’s irrelevant and I usually just skip the rest of the pod at that point.

An informative show with a variety of hosts keeping me up to date on my favorite team. Chuck does a great job and despite being an Eagles fan I won’t hold that against him. HTTC!

Post Copenhagen show has the host swearing multiple times (JC). Unacceptable

I stopped the Podcast of the Copenhagen match as I don’t like the language. Podcaster can use whatever language he wants and I can turn it off.

INNN needs to take a break from this podcast. I get it that he doesn’t like Tuchel, but calling him an “imbecile” is way over the line. Altogether too much whining and negativity.

One of their writers/hosts, Ineednoname, was a jerk to me in comment sections. Unprovoked and uncalled for. It’s 2023, bullying needs to stop.

Best podcast to get Bayern/DFB news.

Chuck Smith is the only real bright spot. Some of the hosts are so negative and unbearable to listen to.

I feel the negatives are too much. As a club we shouldn't be fans of players. We should support the club but most of you always criticising the coach and his choice of players and tactics even when we win. INNN so toxic against this team sometimes I wonder if he's a fan. Gosh. Getting frustrating listening to negativity all the time.

BFW is a great source of Bayern news and commentary.

Every episode I’ve listened to first begins with talking points other established pundits make in mainstream media. Once personal thoughts/opinions come in, the lack of knowledge of squad, schedule, basic team stuff is horrendous. Hard to understand hosts and plainly nothing but uninformed fair weather-fan segments. Save yourself the time

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while now. Love the content and how consistently they upload. Only thing I dislike is how when the dude is talking the girl is constantly reaffirming with “mnnnhmmm yeah mnnn yeah” and it’s just little too much lol It’s pretty distracting sorry! 😬

The content is fine. Sometimes it’s accurate and sometimes it sounds like the hosts don’t actually know much about football or tactics. For gods sake please stop using “Like” as a filler word every few seconds. It makes it unbearable to listen to. It sounds like I’m listening to a 14 year old girl from LA. I’m a huge Bayern fan but I’m going to find a different podcast if that doesn’t change. Horrifically amateurish speech habits.

I swear there is one guy that talks non-stop about Liverpool on this pod. “We get it you are a fan of another team.” But I tune in hear to hear news, updates, and thoughts on Bayern Munich not some EPL team. How about staying on topic and giving us the info we want to hear or just send that guy to work on a Liverpool site?

I love the premise of the pod and the BFW website which I read almost religiously. My gripe with the show is how opinionated the hosts can be without supplementing their claims with good stats. The hosts criticize Gnabry and Upamecano regularly, but their evidence is often anecdotal and places too much weight on mistakes rather than putting those critiques in context of other aspects of their performances. Personally, I listen to sports commentary to learn something I don’t know from experts or well-read individuals. Right now, the show just feels like a space for upset fans to air their grievances, and I worry this culture of negativity (unintentionally) contributes to harassment of players on social media, and leads to some players to perform worse or leave on a free transfer.

Love the podcasts. Keep it up

This is my favorite Bayern podcast, and all the hosts are pretty knowledgeable. I like that they rotate the hosts so we get a variety of different opinions. My only criticism is with Ineednoname. While I mostly enjoy listening to his analyses, he’s incredibly pessimistic. It’s also hard to listen to any episodes with him that involve any other hosts, because he constantly interrupts everyone else. It’s disrespectful and I hope he works on that.

My only criticism would be that the show is too short in length. Otherwise, solid, informative and fun content.

Bring back Indeednoname! I really enjoyed his take on the transfer strategy and overall status of the club. He sounds very well informed and skilled on the mic.

I’m sorry, who ever the woman host is (I honestly can’t understand when she says her name) is God awful. I listen religiously until I hear her voice and then I skip that episode. Besides being difficult to understand, there is no personality or passion. Might be a great writer, but so not keep putting her on the pod…. It isn’t her medium.

Jake, Tom, and Chuck do a great job of discussing Bayern and the Bundesliga (and occasionally the DFB) in an informative and entertaining way. All are extremely knowledgeable. Love the variety of shows (match preview, recap, etc.) as well. Although I follow other FCB sites, these guys do the best job of meshing content through pod and blog. A must listen!

I started listening to BPW last spring when I decided to start following Bayern more closely, and the podcast really helped me get up to speed with not only the Bayern squad, but other teams in the Bundesliga as well through the match previews. I appreciate that the discussion is passionate yet balanced. The hosts also make it accessible to new fans, no gate keeping vibes at all (which I’ve noticed from some other soccer pods, mostly PL ones). The most recent new segment, immediate post-match reactions, has been a fun addition—especially for the easily digestible length (unnecessarily long podcast episodes are my pet peeve). My only small quibble is that the audio is sometimes not great (volume level between the different speakers, background noise, etc.) but it’s not the worst I’ve ever heard.

I listen to multiple European football podcast, and I’m always looking for more football podcast. I’ve been a Bayern fan for most of my life, and so I try to find Bayern Munich related podcast to listen to. I’ve not found a good one yet, and my hopes were high with this one. As I listen though, I was more than disappointed with what I discovered. The listenability is none existent due to one of the main voices of this podcast (Jake). He has a very high pitched and whiny voice that made me want to turn it off immediately. I stuck through the entire episode though to see if it got any better, but the more Jake talked the more I found myself realizing I’ll never listen to this show again. While he sounded pretty informed about the club and the players, his actual football understanding seemed more than lacking. I appreciate when someone has a different view than many of the European football experts I listen to on a daily basis, but he just sounded very uninformed and lacking in knowledge about the things he discussed. The other host was much better, and I’d listen to a podcast he hosted. But as long as Jake is there, I will continue to be in-search of a FCB podcast to listen to.

Best English language Bayern podcast out there!!

Couple of things, I'm a relatively new convert to the Bayern experience and have been following this site on the Facebooks and The Twitter. I was thinking, "They need a podcast" and lo and behold, BOOM! Podcast. Then I asked for it on iTunes, and BAMN! iTunes has it. I used to work for two other B'liga clubs, but never found them to be likable. I tried my best not to like this club, but they wore me down. So here I am... a Bayern fan and loving this podcast. One thing I'm going to ask, keep the language clean. I listen at work, and can't play some podcasts because of the language. Danke
