    Accidental Surprise!
I came upon this podcast accidentally, and am grateful that I have. I have always appreciated Robert’s ability to convey so much emotion through his voice and music, regardless of the genre or decade! It has been evident for so long that this man has a true gift, and he takes great pleasure in using it. And thankfully for us, he takes pleasure in sharing it! There is so much more of Robert’s catalog to dig deeply into- please open up the vault and share another few seasons with us! (You are missed!) PS- So looking forward to seeing you and Alison Krauss in a few weeks!

    Come Back
I don’t listen to many podcasts but as a huge Robert Plant fan , I figured I’d give it a try. It was so enjoyable and informative. I wish all my favorite artists did something like this. My only complaint…. It’s over 😢 Come back Robert! Please! You’ve barely scratched the surface of your catalogue. Thanks for a great show!

    Fascinating and enjoyable
As a long time fan of Robert’s music both Zep and solo, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed these podcasts and have listened to every one. The easy conversational style and fascinating details make for an enjoyable listen.

    Close but needs work
I wonder if Robert would ever be up to fans asking questions upon a theme of his works. I hear these podcasts and think…Why didn’t the interviewer ask this question? Or why didn’t he touch on that? How did the interviewer not know to ask this? I like the premise but think there are people who know much much more about Roberts work that they’d have some questions that would truly open up this podcast. Other questions: Why aren’t we hearing the entire track of a song or when you play something live; why not mention when and where it was recorded?

    Lovely man, lovely voice
I’ve always been a fan of Robert Plant and love listening to him. Nowadays I turn this podcast on at night and drift off to sleep listening to it. Then I don’t remember it so well, but it gives me an opportunity to listen to it again. This is almost like hearing him in person, something I’m not likely to ever do. I admire him so much, though, for continuing to ramble on, I mean, he hasn’t rested on his laurels, he keeps exploring new adventures in music, and seems to have a real zest for life that is truly inspirational.

    Enthralling
What Elvis was to my parents, Robert Plant is to me as a person, singer and human being. I find myself lost in his eloquence and hanging on his every word. Looking forward to more digging deep chapters.

    One of the best!
Could listen for hours! Robert is genuine and down to earth, and that doesn’t come easy for someone who has experienced as much success as he has. Hoping you’ll keep up the podcast even if the format changes a bit with guests as you both discussed. I listen to many podcasts, this is definitely one of the best!

    Genius!
Mr Plant is elegant as well as eloquent! His storytelling is gentle and funny and encyclopedic. A thread of enchanting melancholy runs throughout. Pure cashmere. To Mr Plant: many thanks for opening your heart and sharing your memories.

    Mr. Plant could...
Narrate a podcast on his own. I might have to look up some of the words he uses (maybe they are more English vernacular than Texan?), but I always enjoy the stories. I've always loved stories which is why I love music so much, especially his. Great vocalist and wordsmith, his voice is comforting, in some strange way. He could recite nursery rhymes and I'd listen. Just love his voice, whether signing or chatting. Ok, I think you know I enjoy his voice...lol; but the stories about the songs are interesting and insightful. Hope he continues going through HIS entire catalog. Thank you for doing this podcast, Mr. Plant. 🙏🏼

Always an honor to listen to Mr Plant
I would rather listen to this man talk for 5 hours then listen to some new age pop artists talk about their “hard work” for 5 seconds, plant is always interesting regardless of what he talks about.

What a great way to connect
Robert Plant has a mysterious persona at times. This breaks through that for fans like myself. I am truly enjoying the conversations and learning about his journey as an artist. I am very grateful for this podcast. I always dreamed of having a sit down and listening to stories from him. I know that will likely never happen. This is the next best thing to that idea. Thank you for doing this!

I wonder if Robert remember’s the tour bus breaking down in Narragansett RI. 80’s. The band stayed at the Neptune Inn on the sea wall. They played soccer on our ocean front field. They said it reminded them of home. Jimmy called me for a year after that trip. ❤️Robert relaxed and played pool with the fisherman and Lobsterman.

I love hearing Robert tell his stories. It’s great hearing about his musical history, and his awesome personality really comes through. Love this Podcast!

Not very good. Plant doesn’t really say anything if import. His price on Battle of Evermore was just a bunch of nothing. He didn’t really say anything that made sense. He constantly talks in circles using words that I don’t think he knows the meaning. His voice is always in a false quiet timber. Wired. I just wish he would say something meaningful about the song.

    Zeppelin Please
I love listening, and would like to hear more about some old Zep songs. Thanks!

    So excellent
I really liked your decision to record the latest season live. Please say there will be more! Robert is so engaging and a real joy to listen to. My respect for him has only grown over the years.

This podcast has been a revelation. Know it will end, but not looking forward to that moment. It’s been fascinating to hear Robert’s insights, perspectives on his songs, and how he has collaborated with so many. There will be a time when his entire body of work will be reassessed and I believe this podcast will be valuable in understanding what he has accomplished.

    Fabulous. Nostalgic. Wonderfully Produced.
Magnificent storytelling across the arc of his life. Led Zep helped me through the pandemic, but this podcast dives deep into his intellect, humor and experiences, and is conduit to other masters - Elvis, William Blake, Tim Buckley. It’s mature and resonates with those of us who are taking survey of our lives. Thank you Mr. Plant!

I could listen to Robert talk for hours
No one is a better storyteller than Robert Plant. I love the whimsical way he weaves his words. You can almost see the twinkle in his eye as you listen to his inimitable voice.

    There’s nothing like it
Magnificent voice. Spectacular storyteller. By far the best podcast out there. But why are they so short? Please make them longer, and more of them!
  • Elwin12
    Worship here and now
First, more please. Second, no matter what you do, sir, you have my allegiance always. Third, now you have my ear in an entirely new form, and I could not be more pleased because I also love your speaking voice. Oh, that voice. From back in the day until tomorrow and tomorrow. Thank you for doing this.

Your generosity and kindness to the unsung hero’s
Just read about your generosity to Kidderminister Hospital. You are, and always have been, such an amazing person. How very kind. We all love you, Karen Lieder, Houston, Texas ❤️🙏❤️

Oompah!! We need more!!! These times call for more RP. Let’s go!!!
Arguably Robert Plant’s most critical solo work, right up with “Fate of Nations”, “Mighty Rearranger” captures the man’s essence. Yet it moves things very much forward thematically, in similar fashion to Fate. gods speeds!

    🙌🏽
I love this! I’ve “followed” Robert from the very beginning of his massive career. ❤️ He is absolutely my favorite artist/front man/musician/vocalist/human. So in that regard, this podcast is truly AWESOME! I hope many more artists will follow suit. PLEASE CARRY ON WITH NEW SEASONS!??? 🙌🏽Analiheligv- Thank you Robert!

    Is It Over So Soon...?
You know that old question: “If you could have dinner with anyone, whether they be alive or dead, who would you choose?” Robert is the guy I would pick. Since that is almost certainly never going to happen, the intimate discussions found in “Digging Deep” was kind of the next best thing. I’m a 62 year old professional guitarist and some of the first songs I learned to play were early Zep tunes. I’d pop in my 8-Tracks of Led Zeppelin 1, 2 or 3 and go to work. And the body of work Robert has performed since has been even more impressive. I feel like he has literally sung me through life. I’m hoping we’ll see him return to this podcast very soon!

    My only complaint
My only complaint at all is that I would love to see SOME mention of a season three! I love this podcast. Mr Plant is not currently touring, for obvious reasons, and it would seem a good time to do another run of interviews. I keep hoping I’ll see a new season announced!

    Never want this to end
The breadth of knowledge, the insight in to each song is brilliant. Never want this to end. No bingo Mr. Plant, you’re doing what you were meant to. That is sharing your gift with us, bringing us so much joy with every track your voice has been recorded on. Thank you and for your romantic heart.

    Brilliant
It’s always nice to get under the hood and actually hear the artist you’ve long since known through music. Robert Plant is thoughtful, cheeky, insightful, respectful of his influences, and, mostly, interesting to listen to. This audio biopic is worth every minute.

    This podcast is EVERYTHING!
I have been waiting my whole life to just listen to Robert Plant tell his stories in his own voice. This podcast is perfection.
