anything goes with emma chamberlain

60,382

emma prefers to share her thoughts with a microphone rather than a physical human being, so thank god she has a podcast. recorded from the comfort of her bed...and some other fun places, emma talks at length about whatever is on her mind every week. anything really does go on this podcast. sometimes philosophy, sometimes a random story from 10 years ago, sometimes advice, sometimes fun interviews, and sometimes nothing at all. you never know what you are going to get, but that’s what keeps it interesting. new episodes every thursday and sunday, video available only on spotify.

    Good Advice
I have always known Emma as the youtuber and never really was a fan until I started to get into podcasts and a lot of podcast episodes she had were topics I was interested in, I’m absolutely in love and listening to every podcast that I’m interested in, it’s really helpful for advice that I never even thought I needed

    Binge-listening 🫶🏼
I haven’t listened to this podcast since the format changed, so I’m currently listening to anything goes from the start. Almost done with 2022! and I have to say that although Emma’s perspective might’ve changed by now, her advice and opinions are timeless (she loves to use this word lol) and I resonate with her a lot. Can’t wait to catch up with her more recent episodes :)

    My favorite podcast
This podcast has changed my life, it is constantly being played through the day. Emma is one of those people who definitely understand you in so many numerous ways. Body image and self love, advice session has to be one of my favorite ones, as challenging as it is to find love with yourself this podcast has expanded my understanding on why I feel this way. Emma has made me feel so much better about myself since a very young age.

I could also talk about fashion for hours & listen about it too
I love those episodes that we go on deep dives about trends/timeless or not/and possible trends. I think it’s the only thing getting me thru work lately tbh just listening about my biggest interest w/ somebody who loves it this much & it’s re-inspired me to get back into sewing/designing & researching past and present fashion/styling. & btw whenever you’re like that’s out & I’m like wait 😂 but then you explain it & im like ok girl true true it’s fun to explore different angles!

pixie episode left me choked up
i have tears when Emma starts talking about her social media hate comments in the pixie episode... Emma takes them in such a baddie way, but no one deserves that. I will forever love Emma’s work & what she does down to her authenticity, we are besties at this point. spread love always<3

i feel like i’m on facetime with my best friend
One of my favorite episodes so far is called "i had a public meltdown, story time." I listened to this episode on Spotify, and it was recently posted in February of this year. She went into detail of a ski trip she went on with a group of friends and how terrified she was to try this sport for the first time. What I love most about her stories is that I never get bored. The foul language, laughing, and just the way she presents herself is so funny to me. She is so real about everything and isn't afraid of embarrassment. I listened to this episode while I was driving to school in the morning, and I remembering laughing out loud when she said something like she was scared because when she would bend her knees to steer right and left, she thought her knees were at the point in which they were about to snap. For some reason, I was not expecting her to say this and just blurted out laughing. This is also because she was so calm while she said it. I also really liked this episode because she explained how important it is to try something new, and it is okay to not be good at something or like something that other people like. It was a good reminder that I might feel fomo when I see a group of friends hanging out, but I have to remind myself that I don't even like what they're doing so I can't let myself get worked up about it. I give this episode 5 stars. It was filled with my type of humor and I never got bored f the story. I know I have been a follower for many years, and it may seem bias, but I truly love listening to Emma anytime I am in the mood to laugh, need advice or inspiration.

    Learning to Ski
I am an active follower of this podcast and I love you Emma! I almost never miss an episode from Anything Goes and I’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple years now. Your last episode on the meltdown you had in public was so me when I learned to ski with my boyfriend 😭 One of the most anxiety provoking experiences of my life and I literally cried the whole time. I was so embarrassed because of how many kids were skiing like professionals around me. I also did cheerleading when I was younger and I was also a flyer. I genuinely thought skiing would come to me more naturally. NOPE 😭 I literally cried in the lodge after skiing for the first time. Thank you for sharing this story because it was so comforting me to hear. I can somewhat ski now but it’s guaranteed I’ll still have a meltdown once in a while because I’m an emotional and anxious girly 😵‍💫

    👍
im a little late on her podcast but i just started listening to it from the start and i truly appreciate her sharing her experiences with life that many people also relate to. I started listening because I recently quit smoking weed and her podcast is really helping me with my withdrawals and distracts me from my anxiety, etc..

    🤍
Hadn’t listened to Emma’s podcast much before, but I am really enjoying it so far! She’s funny and shares some interesting insights. 2/9 - Emma, I totally relate to your ski story! I think it’s great to be brave and try new things but also great to know when an activity isn’t something we’ll enjoy so we can spend more time on the things we do. :)

    the ABSOLUTE best
I’ve been listening since Stupid Genius back when I was in middle school. I stoped listening bc who knows why💀 but I’ve been bored of listening to music so I would come back to listen to emma and SHE NEVER MISSES (I’m a sophomore in college now). I’m very behind like over 200 episodes but that just means I can binge listen to my comfort person, love you emma🤍

    Everyone should listen
I’ve been listening to this podcast since advice session #1 and I can honestly say it has helped me through life. I’m now in college and this podcast has helped with me through every phase of my life. Every highschool relationship, every friendship, and my personal journey. Listening to someone a few years older than me as a teenage girl is something every young girl needs. These advice sessions relate to my life SO MUCH. anyways every girl/ person/ young adult should listen it really does change parts of your life.

when i tell you this podcast makes me feel like im having an actual conversation with her i mean it dude, she sees both sides in topics and isn’t strictly formal about the topic, she’s rather comfortable and normal about it which makes hard topic easy to hear and learn about through her perspective. and shoutout her relationship advice i genuinely love her for it lol.

    Emma just gets it.
If you want a podcast that’s make you feel better about yourself, makes you laugh or smile, shows you that you are you and that’s AMAZING, Tells you about her past experiences, and all around is just something that makes you smile then you have come to the right place! Her advice is always on point and I have never related more to anything till I found her. 1000/10 podcast. 💕😊 Emma just shows you truly what life is all about.

    I love listening to Emma
I love the way this girl thinks and how she explains stuff. I’ve been listening to anything goes while harvesting olives in France (solo travel trip) and I can’t get enough. How she talks about her struggles with insecurity and comparison is so similar to how I experience it it’s crazy.
  • alinlovesmiffy
    love emma and her podcast
i have been listening to anything goes for a while now and i love emma (platonically), personally her voice is very relaxing and i love listening to her while running errands or doing random mundane tasks. I align with almost all of of her opinions so i can relax but that may be something to look out for, but overall my favorite podcast and i heavily recommend even if you don’t think you’d like it! ( btw her original matcha is rlly good <3 )
  • ashleydavis1364
relatable and wise for her years
Emma’s podcast is an absolute gem. She brings an incredible mix of vulnerability, humor, and genuine insight that makes you feel like you’re chatting with a close friend. Her honesty is refreshing, and she speaks openly about life’s highs and lows in a way that’s both relatable and deeply wise beyond her years. Emma tackles complex emotions and everyday struggles with a perspective that’s thoughtful and mature, yet still down-to-earth. Whether she’s discussing personal growth, mental health, or just navigating the weirdness of life, she offers a comforting sense of connection.
  • Ssam C.
    Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
It’s not easy to share hard experiences and vulnerable things. You doing it with subjects big and small really makes people feel less alone, and like they can still be fun and cool and successful (all things you are!) and still it’s ok to not have everything figured out. I’m so glad you’re here!
  • Rahaf.shhh
Love her light topic ramblings + her stories
Love episodes of of Emma alone, either telling us a story/stories ( i LOL so hard ) or when she’s rambling about something insignificant. She’s a great storyteller. It’s interesting to listen to the thoughts of a genuinely good person from Gen Z. As a millenial, this is the only form of media of hers that I consume. It’s been a year of listening!
  • SHELBSTER1328
    couldn’t be better
Long time YouTube fan since growing up. Always loved Emma. She’s so different from other influencers. Her podcast was by far the best thing she has done. I listen to at least one episode a day, and all day at work. I’m running out of episodes to listen to that I haven’t heard already hahha
  • LindaMiz
Thank you for the self sabotage reminder…
Been aware and working on it for years (decades if I’m being honest🙄) it’s like the heavy rock up to the top of the hill— (I get sooo close ( to “perfection” /goals/ success / self love, etc..,… ) I get there and loose my self respect or just need the comfort I know I can rely on— which is either fear or self disrespect … after listening to the pod episode, I was reminded again, wrote about it and hopefully caught it in the nick of time! Although I’m healthy and aware , self sabotage occasionally ( albeit rarely lately ) creeps up… Thank you for the insight and reminder♥️
  • Jayne "Sunny" Bauman
    Response….
Something in fashion that I reallllllllllly do not like is a “cold shoulder” shirt. Ewwww, just no…seeing someone in one literally makes me twitch, yuck. Love ya! 😊
  • jczebragirl2
    Obtuse, vapid, unintelligent, shallow
Some words I’ve seen in various reviews that sum this podcast up well. She doesn’t have the wheelhouse nor experience to talk about the things she does with such a large audience. Emma has a lot of growing up to do and lacks a lot of wisdom and self awareness.
  • Amy Pendleberrjea
    She’s both trendy & timeless …
Trendy is what we’ll find most of the influencers to be in years to come. But Emma is anything but just trendy. She’s dynamic, flexible and adaptive with her audience, but she also sets the bar for what her audience even wants with her bold and engaging hilarity. She accurately predicts random future trends, and I love when she beats herself up about stuff I lose sleep over too. Keep being authentic… a true inspirational story of a normal girl who got to the top… being herself.
