Valentine1278This podcast has helped me have a better relationship with foodAfter years on the restrict binge cycle, I knew that I needed a better mindset when it came to food. I love food and want to enjoy it, while also maintaining a healthy weight. This podcast has helped me to do that and I can actually enjoy food again! I also have more of an appreciation for healthy food and what it can do for my body and how it fuels my workouts. The peace of mind this podcast has given me is priceless! Also, the compassion that Rhiannon and her guests have for people is really healing. So, very grateful for that aspect as well. Lastly, the real strength of the podcast is that the focus is on having better quality of life, not on following specific rules or regimens or restriction.

They also focus on balance, avoiding labeling food or diets as “good” or “bad”, and encourage a holistic view of health. I highly recommend this podcast and I think that anyone could get something out of it no matter what their health goals.

I always get bummed when it ends because the guests, who are experts in the field, and the discussions are that good. I love that each topic is unpacked and stripped of all the BS that you hear on social media. It calms me to know that there are so many ways to be healthy without doing extreme things that media headlines and social media push on their audience every day. This podcast is the exact thing you need if you’re looking for simple explanations on health, nutrition, and overall well-being (backed by science)!!! I’ve already had so many questions answered around topics such as what “gluten free” really means, dieting, exercise, detoxes, skin health, and even the health of our planet!

ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU NEED TO TAKE OUT OF YOUR DIET IT IS ABOUT “WHAT CAN YOU ADD TO YOUR DIET?” Words to live by ladies! I enjoy my veggies and my fruits but I also enjoy my chocolate and my cakes. Her passion on these topics remind me of the way Gordon Ramsay speaks about food (not the mean way), but “the most stunning filet of Salmon.” His passion made me have the confidence to cook in the first place, and Rhiannon’s passion to eat healthy and the positive impact it has on your mind and body is making me think twice every time I drive by a McDonalds haha.
