This is my favorite podcast I love turning it on and it just takes all my warehouse worries away (I’m a supervisor). Everything is good till it gets to the butt stuff that’s so scary. 😂😂😂

Update September 2023: where did the old episode go from when this podcast first came out?? I don’t remember seeing anything in the emails or group about them leaving. Original review: I absolutely adored this idea ever since I first heard about it! Free audiobooks, great conversations, and the chance to experience new authors and potentially find some new favorites?!? Yes please! The novellas I've already listened to are short and sweet, and I can't wait for the many more to come from Read Me Romance.

The actual reading of the books are fantastic but at the beginning when they are talking about random stuff I have to skip it because I want to listen to the book and not people talking. If they were talking about the books and it wasn’t 25 minutes maybe it wouldn’t be so annoying

I found this difficult to sit through. It was more random non book rambling than actually book discussion.

This is a great podcast. Good audio so you can hear them. There are certain podcasts that seem interesting but I can’t listen to it because I can barely hear one of the podcasters. Not so with these lady DJs. Great banter at the beginning of each episode but if you don’t like banter you can skip it. This podcast plays a short audiobook a week. Every once in a blue moon the podcast will play a teaser but they will tell you that in the beginning of the episode so you have the option to skip it. The only thing I would change about this podcast is to bring back the missing episodes. Lea and Mel explained in one episode that the missing episodes were due authors buying the audiobook. Mel floated the idea of still playing the banter but stating at the beginning of the episode that the audiobook would not be played but is available for purchase. I like listening to episodes in order and it breaks my brain not to start at episode 1.

Seriously where has this podcast been !?!? Lol I have read almost every book by these two and coming across this podcast is just icing on the cake! Definitely have the most laughs and love the conversations!

I have never laughed so much during a podcast (mostly listen to true crime). You ladies are amazing, I feel like you three should do another podcast about life in general. Keep going ladies!

Need better narrators. The last 2 books were so flat. The books were Man of the Mountain by Frankie Love and Just Call Me Baby by Hope Ford. I love these authors but the narration makes these books fall flat.

The podcast listed a favorite author of mine.... silly me I thought it might be an interview... but it was a reading that was left til the end of the show... with no hint given as to how to skip ahead and find it. This is a painfully vapid podcast. I would joyfully pay money to unhear it.

loved the books, but the teasers aren’t doing it. no one wants just the beginning of a book. also the 30 minutes of taking in the beginning is annoying.

I’m tired of teases this is been going on for months when are we going back to actual audiobook readings?

Why the change in format. This podcast was supposed to be short audio books. The switch to teases is not enjoyable. No one wants only the start of a story.

OMG! These books are my life savers on the subway or on a boring conference call. Don’t tell my boss. The authors are all amazing and their imaginations just transport you to their worlds and you never want to leave. Love their podcast as well!

I loved listening to the whole story; I’m not a fan of the tease. I hope they bring the old format back. That is why I’m have taken a star off.

I absolutely love this podcast, the audiobooks and the advice. But I miss the days where the whole book was read. The audio teasers are just not my thing.

These romance authors are completely lovely. Full of body and sexual positivity, this podcast offers companionship and kindness - as well as comedy and the necessary snark that best friends offer.

Your change in format will doom the podcast

One day I was bored, with nothing to watch or read, and I searched romance and this popped up. The ladies give you great conversations and feature a wide range of romance subgenres. The ladies also give a couple of book recommendations weekly. If you are looking for a fun escape, listen to this podcast.

I absolutely love these ladies, y’all make me feel better about myself everyday, and the books y’all pick r so delicious, I honestly didn’t know this stuff was out there and can’t get enough of this

I love this podcast, the romance and the hosts are Amazing. Their conversations are great and make me feel like I am part of the group. Weird..I know..but they are just awesome!!

I enjoy their banter as much as the books. Keep it coming..

27 mins of chit chat? Who cares about your lives? And then the voice when the book finally did start. No. Just no. Not my thing.

The one host with the accents speaks so fast it is hard to understand her. Also having huge issues with the sound quality. It sounds like it is being recorded in an empty room. I was disappointed.

I couldn’t get past her voice - and she talks too fast, and there is no emotion in her voice.

I love the narrated stories! However usually about 2/3rds of the podcast is the hosts talking about whatever. I never listen, so I don't know if it's life altering advice I'm missing (couldn't care less, I'm on the hunt for smut). I always skip ahead to the story. I'm giving 5 stars because the narrated stories are what I'm there for-and I get them! Huge thumbs up for changing the platform to only two installments a week :)

This podcast is great! I love it! You get a new short audiobook every week for free. What makes the podcast so good is Tessa, Lea and Mel. The ladies are straight forward, funny and honest. Without them it would just be another audiobook!

This podcast is amazing! It helped me get back into listening to audiobooks and reading in my spare time as I used to 5 years ago. I feel better about myself doing something I love. The conversations with the girls is always funny and encouraging!

Great podcast. The women are amazing and empowering. My only issue is Alexa Riley haven’t put out books for months. Please tease with your old books on the podcast sometime before you lose us❤️keep up the work ladies

I’ve been listening at a leisurely pace for months, and I’m so sad to have finally caught up, since now I’ll have to wait for new episodes like everyone else! I love these women, I love this podcast, and have been systematically buying up all their swag! Listening to them makes you feel like you’re sitting in a room with a couple of girlfriends chatting, having a good time, and listening to great new books together, it’s loads of fun and I highly recommend this podcast to all lady listeners!

So a I was told about this on Facebook and it was the first time i had ever listen to a podcast. I love it. Listing is like hanging out with a group of friends and listen to new books. This is freaking awesome I love it. Thanks for giving me the little escape I need.

Hello Ladies, Just finished listening to your podcast #49.1 (my first ever) Wanting My Stepsister, and I loved it. I love the chat before and after the audio. I thinking it’s a great idea. It allows us to hear from the authors, where we usually don’t when listening to audiobooks and/or reading the book. Looking forward to listening to all the podcasts starting from day one.

I was just on a rant a little while back about needing something to keep me on my toes during my drive to work. Then low and behold, like some weird physic mind reader extraordinaire, *BOOM* Read Me Romance pops up on my newsfeed ( it’s that demonic ad tracking that listens to you all the time, I’m telling ya). I have literally never listened to a podcast before in my life, and opened this app for the very first time on my phone a couple weeks ago to try this station ( are they called stations on podcasts? *shrug*). Love at first listen I tell ya, love at first listen. I’m not sure who runs this, but Kendall Ryan, Alexa Riley, Tessa Bailey, & Teagan Hunter all being read to me on my way to work.... GIRL YESSS!!!! Where have y’all been all my Life? No matter, I have you now, and I won’t be letting you go *wink, wink*
