I’m late to the party but am in love with this show! I’ve been binging it for hours and don’t want it to end.

This podcast is fantastic. The episodes often feature interesting guests and they look at a wide range of queer related horror content. And while the hosts are clearly having a great time - they have amazing chemistry - they do discuss more serious topics, which creates a great balance.

    Queerwolf Review
Excellent show. Hosts examine horror movies with an emphasis on queer representation and subtext in the genre. I have found it to be empowering and eye opening. But also hilarious. The personalities of each host shine, and the irreverent digressions and observations have me belly laughing on my way to work. I’m definitely here for it.

    It’s time, girlfriend.
I feel like I’ve finally found my people because this podcast has exactly what I need - thoughtful analysis of my favorite horror movies while highlighting queer elements and juicy trivia that goes unnoticed by mainstream horror podcasts. Can’t wait to devour every episode!

    Grateful for this pod’s existence
I can’t praise this pod enough. Recently discovered it & have been loving doing a binge of the archived eps. I picked a random ep to listen to during my search for a new queer horror podcast. I laughed and felt so seen. The love was immediate. Thank you for existing, Attack of the Queerwolf!

    One of my faves
I plan my Thursdays around this podcast and the Read. They’re funny and interesting. Nay is amazing, always providing some of my loudest cackles during this episode. I looove the POC guests, they make for the most engaging episodes.

    So much fun
I always love listening to other people talk about horror, and sometimes, since the only person I get to talk about them with is my straight white boyfriend, I want other opinions and voices since I’m a cis bi woman.

    Gets a pride float
Cis, straight girl here who loves Queerwolves. All the cohosts are a blast to listen to. I laugh out loud at least once every week. Great to hear their critiques through a lens that I myself don’t have. I love it!
  • ohriles
    One of my favorite podcasts.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll gain insight about horror movies from a multitude of people with varying perspectives, and most importantly, you’ll wonder why so many of them feature boring straight people as protagonists.

One of the best podcasts I’ve found. Brennan is a dork, Michael is a daddy and Nay is an absolute Yay!! Sam is also present...

Love hearing these films through another lens
This is a gift. I can't say how much I enjoy hearing a view on a film that I wouldn't initially think of. This crew is full of smart, funny people. Necessary listening. Thank you.

Essential Listening for Any Horror Fan
Queerwolf is the podcast I wish I had when I was a little horror fan still in the closet. Informative, hilarious, and downright important, Attack of the Queerwolf is essential listening.

You Didn’t Know You Needed This
Queer voices spilling the tea all over horror classics and atrocities. Nay is just a treat. She. Is. Going. Places.

    A silly but important listen
This is one of the silliest podcasts I listen to but the perspective that they bring on horror is such an important and underheard voice. Being a queer person who loved horror one of my favorite things in the world to do is talk about it and listen to others about the impact of horror and how it moves people. These folk bring such a unique and interesting perspective into classic films that I never looked at before. It’s given me brand new films to check out and definitely brand new ways to view old classics. It’s become one of my favorite listens each week.

    Funny and thought provoking!
Love the cast and their variety of opinions on horror and queerness! I’m gay and rural so I don’t get a lot of this sort of thing, so it’s kinda refreshing to hear what these L.A city slickers think! Also they do not just go over the well worn horror titles, like almost all the other podcasts! More queer and marginalized voices, that’s what we need right now. That’s how we move toward a better tomorrow!
  • areuawake
    Queer and spooky
I love this podcast! The hosts bring lots of fun and informed discussions to even the worst of films in queer horror. I love that the hosts are socially conscious, and speak to queer issues with an intersectional lens. Only complaint is that the episodes could be longer, but honestly i’ll take whatever y’all give us! 💕

Queer Queer and here for Queer Wolf
Been listening and commenting and reacting to many social media post on Instagram and twitter. Loving the show a lot since most of the films get a pride float but have learned that some need community service. Still looking forward to nay or yeahs done weekly to each film done by nay. Hugs, Bear Hugs... And if in the charleston WV area shall treat one or all 4 to some shoney restaurant aka the first big boy location.

    Fantastic listen
I’ve been listening to these wonderful people side the beginning, I seriously look forward to a new episode every week. You all are so funny and insightful and have really great and interesting things to say. Sometimes I can’t believe how much fun you make my commute to work!

    Please listen to this show!
One of the most fun and original podcast shows out here. The hosts are delightful (but shout out to Queen Nae especially and her laugh that just puts a smile on your face). Listen to their queer horror root episode first and then begin chronologically from there. You’re gonna have a great time laughing, hooting, hollering, and kiking.
  • Sean_in_Oklahoma
    Hilarious and heartfelt.
I eagerly look forward to each new episode. At one moment, listening is dangerous to your health because you are falling out laughing in your car and not paying attention to the highway. The episodes are also quite poignant and punch you in the gut. Discovering how the hosts interpreted films that they saw growing up when they were coming to terms with their sexuality has really hit home with me. So many of their conversations have transported me back to my childhood and has me reflecting on how I examined moments in the same films. Constantly entertaining, funny and heartfelt. I unconditionally appreciate this podcast.

Broader breadth of horror movie knowledge desperately needed
As a gay, horror fan, I was very excited to hear that Blumhouse would be producing a queer take on horror. Alas, when 3/4 of the panel hasn’t seen Heavenly Creatures, or even know about it, I’d say that they don’t have the required bona fides to speak intelligently about gay horror. I’ll check back periodically in the hopes that it gets it right. (Jeff Nelson from Scream Factory in a recent episode was great as always, though.)

    Like a warm bubble bath...
Listening to this podcast is like dipping into a warm bubble bath. The hosts have such an amazing energy and an even greater chemistry. I love Nee’s laugh, Mark’s witticisms, and Michael’s voices, and I truly enjoy producer Brennan’s love of the genre. It’s a treat at the end of the long work week. I give thee five stars and demand that the episodes keep on coming!

There's A Queerwolf In The Closet, Let It Out So It Can Breathe
I'm picky about my podcasts, and it's rare to find one where one of the hosts doesn't make me want to throw my phone off a moving train. Queerwolf is everything I've ever wanted and more. Mark, Michael, and Nay are hilarious and insightful hosts with great energy, and they give the horror genre the respect it deserves. Producer Brennan is an adorable baby who makes me feel like an old man with wild abandon. The only flaw so far is they've yet to do a 3-hour episode about A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. Come on, guys!

This podcast is literally everything I hoped it would be. It’s flawless, please keep doing it forever.

    “severed head head”
Great first show! Really funny and had me rethinking a movie I’ve seen a bunch of times. Now I have to watch it again with this new lense. I can’t wait until the next!!!

I have always wanted a funny podcast with queer folk discussing horror movies and this is better than I could have hoped! Look forward to all the future episodes.

    Queer Horror!
It’s amazing to hear some fresh voices in the LGBTQ+ community talk Queer Horror! One episode in and I’m already hooked! I can tell this will be a must-listen right up there with it’s sister/brother podcast “Shock Waves” Long live Attack of the Queerwolf!
  • scottburau
    So much fun.
You’re not sure what to expect before you listen, but this podcast is awesome. It centers on a movie I’ve never seen, and I couldn’t stop listening! It’s fun, informative, culturally and politically relevant, and just downright relevant. I can’t wait for the next episode!

    Great Idea!
I love the thoughtfulness that goes into the film analyses, especially the willingness to consider attitudes of the time the films were made in vs current understandings. I’m a gay filmmaker working on my first horror feature and it’s nice to find something as niche as me. Keep it up!
  • Ryanrooney
Exactly what we need in horror
This is a break out hit. Hilarious, intelligent, poignant and fun, Queerwolf is a fantastic new entry into your podcast library. Breaking down queer and homosexual tones in horror from three creative and smart hosts makes for an addicting listen. An absolute must. We need more like this in the genre and cinema.
