    Story Teller Face PHOTOS
San, I’m really enjoying seeing your story teller's Face photo. As with Audio stories remain in our visual brain. Seeing their Faces/body photos connects it for me. Your talent of connection Sam, is one of your many fine gifts that you share and we as your podcast listeners joyfully receive. BIG FAN KHF-Albuquerque, NM

    S2-E39 Storytelling
Sam you have a STELLAR show that’s why I was quite surprised when during Ernie’s death and Big Birds beautiful sensitive age appropriate discussion when you mentioned “a baby” was born. What an insult that must have been to Buffy St Marie longtime cast member whose son Cody was that baby! You made NO mention of her as an indigenous cast member who went on to break another award winning segment of her Breast feeding Cody on Sesame Street and Big Birds conversations with Buffy about why she was breast feeding Cody. Sam I will call out BYU programming in complement as well as this insensitivity. Fan KHF-Albuquerque, NM

I found this podcast a few weeks ago. The stories never fail to make me laugh. I share them with my grown children and with my grandchildren. They beg to hear them over and over again. Wonderful work!

So much entertainment shouldn’t be this educational
The Apple seed is a podcast brought to us by Sam Payne. The Apple seed is wholesome, fun, often silly, deeply educational, all in one simple podcast. Sam Payne was a teacher of mine, back in the day and to learn from him again is a boon I can not pass up. To hear his original music again, a true talent of his, is just plain delightful. His interpretations of the stories shared, and those of his staff, bring the morals of the stories to a real life level. A level at which I can easily relate to and then apply those morals in my life. These stories and story tellers are the backbone of our human history around the world. The stories hit square in the entertainment zone but leave you with a knowledge you didn’t even know you had learned. The Story Tellers are incredibly talented and entertaining. Each episode is an anticipated, delicious, sneakily healthy, treat

Most appropriate respectful, story telling app.
I listen to a lot of fairy tale apps and most of them are great. The problem is, the old stories are so insensitive to certain things like race, class, gender, that they are not appropriate for the molding of young minds. This app is a lot more appropriate for kids of all ages as well as adults. If there is a discrepancy, a discussion is held to clarify when the stories were created and why certain aspects must be seen as historic. As far as THE HEABER CREEPER? There is one main reason why I knew immediately it wasn’t a true story. I am fine with several people in my life time who have had accidents in their pants. There is no way you wouldn’t notice this as it is very very smelly!!! And honestly, when someone has diarrhoea is usually a medical issue going on and smells even worse! I was the price no one else thought of this… I absolutely love this podcast! Thank you for all your great efforts to entertain and enlighten.

    Awesome, favorite in car rides
These stories keep everyone entertained and happy in the car, from the toddler, the kids, teens, mom, dad and grandparents. The music is so fun, the voices, the clever new stories and old classics. Loved by my Montessori preschool kids too for story time.

    No commercials?! Awesome
Sam is a performer himself, and you can tell by the way he hosts the show. He is a great host. The engineering of the show is also done really well, I love all the music throughout the episode. It is a very family friendly program. It’s nice to have hours worth of pure story, without any ads throughout, too.
