Was a great podcast until S&F guys left

Can’t recommend this podcast strongly enough. I’ve learned so much about an incredibly wide variety of aspects of land management. It helps ramp-up the learning curve and focus my work on the farm. A must-listen for any land owner and even for folks hunting public land, the information applies to your scouting and hunting strategies and would be useful to prospective land owners searching for ground.

Love the original content and the S&F habitat content is good but those guys occasionally sound like racists. Suggest sticking to what you know and leave the foreigner and dr visit content out. Would be five stars if they stick to sawdust and fire.

Love listening to your thoughts and ideas for meaning wildlife habitat management.

Looking forward to listening to this episode, I will retire from the Marine Corps very soon and hopefully start a new career in this field. Every episode has been informative and entertaining, the YouTube channel is great as well. Tate

I really enjoy most of the info y’all share but sometimes your opinions are stated like if we don’t agree then we are all idiots. Example today starting out, yes it’s hot but i love it and yes i do work outside. I’m a carpenter with arthritis. I can’t get enough clothes on when it’s cold and still be able to move. So opinions stated that anyone that likes summer don’t work outside is just your opinion! Don’t be so condescending!

I enjoy the information but I could do without the host accusing the general hunting population of being ignorant. Every time I try to listen to this podcast I have to weigh the great insight into biology with the recurring, terrible soapbox diatribes.

Love the podcast and the information you guys give I’m working on turning my property into the equip program through usda so love hear ideas about management to use on my property! Would love to burn my woods but don’t have confidence as I’ve never did it. Did know if you guys had a step to step break down on it or a YouTube channel? Keep up The work! This is a very informative show. I like how they encompass more animals than just deer habitat. I do wish they would give us more than just burn, burn, burn. It always comes back around to burning. We get it, that’s the best way to promote regeneration. However, 95% of us listening can’t burn, don’t have the time to burn or don’t have a location to find someone who can burn. Give us more on how to cut, plant work the land with the bare necessities.

Have been keeping up with the podcast for quite sometime. It has helped me learn and gain the confidence to get a lot of the work done on my own. These guys love what they do. I’m sure they are getting tons of messages a day and I’ve had no problems asking questions and getting answers.

As I was listening to this episode I was like man this farm sounds familiar to a property close that I study on onx. Turns out it is only 1.4 miles from me. Great to listen to this. I’d love to share some photos and harvests.

Glad I found the new channel. Matt and Adam are great, worked some NWTF conventions in the past with them. The topics are relevant and true to real world scenarios. They discuss everything the way it is not just what people or the industry is currently pushing!

This episode failed to educate listeners of share renting compared to cash renting. Custom farming your own land is unheard of in SE KS where I grew up and have owned multiple properties since 1990. Spending time comparing the 2 extreme options seemed a waste of education opportunity. Mentioning share renting toward end of episode but zero details was disappointing. I have share rented my properties and found it to be great with the best farmers and poor (cash rent would have been much better financially) with other farmers.

The L&L podcast has been consuming my time for the last 2-3 months. It has become a necessary evil to listen and adopt to Matt and Adam’s practices and heed their words. Word of mouth always proves to be the best way to spread good news and I’ve taken it upon myself to help spread the “gospel”. Appreciate the physical content and the spiritual conviction.

I have been a long time listener, and I appreciate everything you do. I do agree with another recent review that audio needs to be cleaned up. I’d make a recommendation to purchase cell signal boosters for your vehicles and the best headphones money can buy. That includes Kyle, Frank, and Chad. The cell boosters will mitigate dead zones/dropped calls. Keep up the great work.

By stark contrast, “Green isn’t Good Enough” is an episode that every property owner in this country NEEDS to hear. This is the exact diatribe that I preach daily. P.S. Matt, you’ve really matured as a podcast host. You’re growin up, buddy. It’s appreciated. Thanks for what you guys do.

Hey Guys- The fruit and oak tree planting podcast was great. Was extremely insightful to hear about how Adam and Chad are planning the plantings of these trees on their farm. It really painted a beautiful picture in my mind as to what this would look like 10 years from now. The thought behind when the mast would drop thus providing food for the wildlife is super cool. Thanks for continuing to provide us with great content that is helping all of us become better stewards of God’s resource!

If you’re not listening to these habitat enthusiasts who have done their homework then, you’re missing out. They lead from the absolute front and even show you how it’s done via YouTube! I started habitat manipulation in 2004. Believe me when I say these guys are on the mark as I’ve had to go through the school of hard knocks! Wishing they were available back then! Take it from someone who’s been through it, follow Land & Legacy and you’ll be ahead in the long run! Mike the Retired Marine in Southern Iowa!

I love this podcast because each one gives me actionable information that I can fairly easily implement on my property myself. It is truly geared towards the land owner and is a great source for practical solutions to common problems. Great job!

Land and Legacy is the best habitat-focused hunting podcast out there. Great information, whether you manage land or not. Even if you hunt public, this podcast will both key you in on where to hunt, but also give you an appreciation for the managment, or lack thereof, of the land.

Matt and Adam are my go to for all things habitat! Their techniques for habitat management are based on science, not personal opinions or gimmicks. Great guys and a wealth of knowledge who are willing to help you reach your goals on your property.

Adam and Matt are extremely knowledgeable in the world of whitetails and land management practices and strategies. I have had the pleasure of following Adam sense he was on GrowingdeerTV as a intern.

In general I find the environmental philosophy of these guys to be very good, but man the delivery is rough. Rambling, repetitive. 2 podcasts a weeks to say not much. An on hour podcast for 5 minutes of content? I guess that’s most podcast but y’all really do it up. I get that you have to produce content to stay top of mind, but you gotta find some new ways to add value. Y’all aren’t entertaining enough to just be a talk show. I’ll give one of your podcast a try sometimes if I’m out of other stuff, and I really do appreciate the regenerative ag and holistic habitat (not just food plots) focus but again a little more succinctly please. Also, it’s not all about the killing, but sometimes it’s all about the killing, don’t forget that.

The podcast is full of great info on habitat managment improvement. The guys seems to put everything into common man terms. Highly recommened.

The material that Matt and Adam educate about is very well rounded and can always be pointed back to how nature is and how the Lord created it. Love the guests that they have on to speak on their respective topics. Have been listening since their start. This podcast is my go to in the truck over music.

Like the topics they cover regarding habitat and conservation. The frustrating part is that they always discuss mistakes but never the full solution. Feel like they want sell services instead of help.

Top notch podcast putting out incredible content. Adam and Matt are dedicated to hunting, land management, and conservation the right way - producing great habitat through natural methods that mimic native landscapes. *Warning* Only listen to this if you are ready to have your mind transformed and go down the path of land management that will become your new obsession and result in some high caliber gratification. After implementing their methods on my farm, it has resulted in a high level of satisfaction that comes from making a plan, understanding the plan, and implementing that plan on a journey to transform the landscape back to optimal habitat.

I am new to land management. I’ve only listened to a few shows, but I have really gravitated to the idea that more quail means a better deer habitat. Quail and Turkey love seeds and insects. If seeds and insects are present, then there is good for the deer. If there is cover for the quail, then there is probably cover for the deer. We have seen more and more quail the last few deer seasons. You are wrong about one thing though. There are GIANT deer in Douglas county. Even on U Hwy south of Mansfield!

Adam, Matt and their team do a fantastic job of providing educational, informational and entertaining content regarding wildlife and property improvement and restoration! I haven’t missed an episode since I came across the podcast over a year ago. The information that they and their guests share is helpful to me and encourages me to take actions towards improving the property that I manage. Adam and Matt are having a positive impact on the lives of others and I consider them a blessing in my life. Keep up the great work fellas!!

That guy with the tendonitis in his elbow sounds like he’s taking this TSI thing to heart! Would love to see how good his property is coming along. You guys should do a show from there and help him out. Love the show! The tie in to how God intended it to be has been a long time coming. You guys are nailing it!

Thank you guys for the information that you put out for everyone to improve their property with. You always provide new and informative ways to get to a desired outcome depending on what the landowner wants. I have started using and doing some of your ideas, I am in Northern Ohio and haven’t seen any quail or pheasants yet but I do have quite a few woodcocks showing up which is great. Just wanted to say thank you for your work and information and keep it up!
