Story episodes are my favorite. When you guys are just talking it tends to feel really out of touch and I find myself zoning out a lot. Not everyone is obsessed with social media/influencing, and that seems to be the main focus. Makes sense considering your jobs, but it’s boring. Probably just not the podcast for me.

Hands down my favorite podcast. I’ve been a diligent listener since the early days of March 2020, gone to one of their live shows, and the only podcast merch I’ve ever gotten (it helps that it’s so cute and comfortable). Really this podcast is what got me loving podcasts. Love their chemistry and friendship.

The ads are OUT OF CONTROL. Way more ads than any other podcast I listen to. The life hacks ep was a long ad in disguise which felt sneaky and disingenuous. The content has also become boring and repetitive since it's only about two topics. The constant topic of social media/influencers (including disclaimers and complaining about people's opinions online) is boring at best or completely out-of-touch at worst. The podcast would really benefit from J+C getting more diverse experiences/hobbies/influences and consuming a wider variety of non-social-media content themselves. When the only thing they're consuming is social media content, of course that's all they have to talk about. Garbage in, garbage out. I do like the life updates which will obviously include pregnancy/babies, but the topic of parenthood has become the only thing they talk about (besides social media) and has taken over the advice and listener sections of the episodes too. Lastly, the podcast used to be joyful and uplifting, but the mood has been a downer lately. They would really benefit from therapy or self-help books to reel in the ruminating on the negative and savor the positive. I don't want them to fake happiness; openly sharing their struggles is something I love. But the rants about subjects that clearly have a ton of misplaced resentment and the repetitive complaints about superficial things (usually related to social media) leave me in a worse mood than when I started listening. This used to be my favorite podcast, but unless things change soon I will unfortunately stop listening.

I love a podcast that doesn’t make you feel like you have a ton of self development to do or over analyze your life. It’s a perfect “comfort podcast” as one might say! 100% for the girlies 🙌🏼

I love WWS and listen to the new episode (sometimes 2) every week. Jaci and Chelsey are hilarious, and their topics are always entertaining. They have me gasping in shock and laughing out loud listening to every episode! I LOVE the write in and advice episodes. Somehow, I can always relate to the requests for advice, and I appreciate the kind and straightforward approach they take to giving advice to listeners. I’m so happy I found this podcast during COVID lockdown. Jaci and Chelsey feel like friends I can always lean on or cheer me up no matter what I’m going through in my life.

As a listener from almost the beginning, it is so heartwarming and inspiring to hear you two continually lift each other up on the podcast, but also be able to tell that you are each other’s person behind the scenes too. I think that is what has kept me listening for almost 6 years! This pod is so heartfelt and I stay giggling. What more could you want??

Honestly love the pod, but this episode made me so sad. The mom shame was so hard to hear especially coming from a mom to be and a mom. You never know someone’s circumstances. I understand it’s shocking to see kids misbehaving in public. What if these children have behavior issues, going through a hard patch of life? As a mom myself when I’ve been out with my kid misbehaving I 100% have thrown out empty threats to try and get my kids out of the public area. You just never know what’s going on in that persons life that their day went this way. As women and moms especially it’s our job to lift other moms up, not tear them down.

The audio quality, content, and overall vibes of this podcast are unmatched. If you want some girl talk on the regular, you’ll love it.

Just realized I’ve been a consistent listener for 4 years and never left a review. I look forward to this pod coming out every week- I listen to many podcasts and this one is my favorite. It seems like a lot of influencers are jumping on the podcast bandwagon now, but none are doing it like Chels & Jaci. These girls always make me laugh and I love their friendship. 🫶🏻 This pod has gotten me through some difficult times & never fails to entertain (especially the story episodes & the girls’ commentary). Just feels like you’re hanging out with friends & having girl talk! 🩷 thanks ladies!

I love this podcast so much but sometimes it takes them over 45 minutes to get to the topic of the episode. the pregnancy updates are fun, but a lot of it is stuff we’ve heard over and over again.

I loved this podcast for years but it’s just gone downhill. Like I understand they gotta get their bag but these ads oh my gosh. I feel like I’m listening to a podcast made from commercials. I could say more, but will end with this- would love less ads and more substance. Also, the episodes with Ty are an immediate skip. Especially after the “influencer” rant which was so out of touch. I’m genuinely surprised that discussion wasn’t cut from the episode.

I usually love this podcast, and couldn’t get past 49 mins. Ty kept cutting off Jaci when she was trying to talk about her house. Also, the influencer conversation was extremely tone deaf and odd.

Love the consistency in uploading to YouTube , funny and entertaining topics

The “out of touch” rant made me sad. I feel as if Ty and jaci both just completely missed the point and we’re defensive. People aren’t mad that influencers are paid a lot of money, we aren’t mad at the brands for paying y’all your rates. I think average people are generally just not looking to consume content of people complaining about their job. It would be like a doctor walking in a room and complaining about their job in front of their patient. Even if you aren’t the patient the doctor is complaining about it still feels icky. Or walking into a store to buy a shirt and the cashier complaining the entire time about annoying customers. It just doesn’t feel good. Especially when you are there to support the business. Not all of us who consume influencer content think badly of influencers. I actually do think being an influencer is a real job and having complaints is so valid. But you are complaining to their wrong audience. Us as listeners are not influencers and cannot relate to what your unique struggles of an influencer are, so my advice would be to just keep it offline. Another problem is your complaining to the people who consume and LIKE your content. I think people get frustrated because influencers always want their job to be taken seriously, but if you are running a business you would not take to your social media and complain about the consumers who support your business. You would definitely have those feelings but you wouldn’t put them out there for your customers to hear/see. It’s the same thing here. Your going to have bad apples in the mix always, but the dedicating a whole segment to go off about the bad apples is just gross when the vast majority of people who are listening to this are the people who support you. Your complaining about your job, while doing your job? The complaining is taking away from creating content. That’s the part that rubs people wrong. And it seems like every influencer eventually does this and it puts a bad taste in their supporters mouth and y’all just chop it up to people “being sensitive” about the topic. I’m writing all of this to maybe help you understand why people get annoyed with influencer rants, hopefully you can see the other side of it instead of just assuming we all just think influencers don’t have a right to complain because that’s just not the case.

I usually love the episode especially with Ty French, but i’m sorry this past episode was so boring and the majority of it was about influencers and your hot takes. there was just so much being said but nothing actually talked about, it was entirely too long and made me stop listening to the episode 55 mins in. sorry but it was just such a dumb conversation

I loved this episode so much! I expected an episode full of laughs and excitement, but it was refreshing to hear you guys being so vulnerable. I’m excited to hear from more guests while Chelsey’s on maternity leave!

Going from talking about ethically produced products/ animal testing, to then having Nike as a sponsor? Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Love you guys but sometimes the content is out of touch and performative.

I was so surprised at some of the reviews saying they don’t like the chatty bit before the main part of the pod. Honestly it’s my favorite part! Sometimes I get so caught up in it that I forget there’s something to actually be discussed. Even if it’s not at all relatable to me personally it makes me feel like we’re on the phone. I would love episodes about first job experiences, what you’d do for your wedding if you were to have it now, or personal story times!

Love y’all but please no more what we don’t understand episodes. We don’t wanna listen to a podcast about blimps and telescopes. It’s boring af🫠

I love you guys. I love the chitchat in the beginning it usually last about as long as my drive to work and then the actually story but is as long as my break. I will be sad when I catch up and don’t have an episode for every day that I work! I hate that everyone keeps mentioning how good your podcast is and say “but the ads are ridiculous, 3 stars” I read through some reviews before writing this and honestly it’s annoying that people don’t understand that THIS IS YOUR JOB! The ads keep the podcast alive and the hosts PAID. Grow up and get an attention span that last long enough to get through a 2 minute ad. Thank you ladies for the work that you do.
