At 2:15am I was just looking for a podcast and I found this one and I was looking at the episodes and I saw “joe woke up without a penis”I thought that was a joke but all of them were really good and I have watched them over and over

I really hope you guys come out with more content. Every single episode had me in complete shock, suspense, and then a huge relief. An emotional rollercoaster with happy endings.

These are great stories! I follow several survival type stories on YouTube but they are about off the grid building and living. These stories on HIS are real reality events and show courage and learning under incredible circumstances. I love hearing the ones involved talking about the three parts to each story, how they got into the difficulty, how they felt during the development, and then the aftermath. Simple life challenging stories that encourage while they entertain. Thanks!

I stumbled upon How I Survived by accident, but I’m so glad I did! The first episode I listened to had me instantly hooked (and even brought me to tears) and now I’m binging the other episodes. Amazing stories!

Wow. This was very interesting to hear about normal, everyday life people surviving unlucky situations. I’m hooked.

I really like this podcast, super interesting stories! My problem is the sound quality of the guests being spotlighted. I’ve tried all different ear buds, and no matter the setting I can hear Beth just fine but most of the time the sound quality of the guest telling their story is muffled and hard to understand clearly.

Terrible things can happen to good people. But thse stories all have a positive ending.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I really like this podcast and hope for more episodes!

Each story is remarkable and the way they tell the story is captivating. The podcast has the survivor and the host commenting, they even have some 911 call recordings or news story recordings. I love this podcast

I could listen to a thousand of these podcasts. So interesting, and the narration by Beth really helps make the story clear when the subjects audio is fuzzy or unclear. Hope there’s more coming!

I love these stories. They are gripping, insane and inspiring. The only problem is I have an incredible time hearing what the person is saying!! It’s similar to listening to someone on a cell phone call with bad cell service.. it would be so much better if I could actually hear/understand what they were saying

I love this podcast. It fulfills my true crime craving without making me feel guilty for exploiting victims. Survivors get to tell their stories in their own words And they have relatively happy endings most of the time. Plus, the editing, narrating and production quality is great.

Found this podcast and listened to all of the available episodes at once. Was excited when the new season came out. Amazed with the the strength and resilience of the people in the stories.

I got into podcasts while walking my dogs and this series is one of the bests. Each episode is very well executed and I find myself enthralled and invested in each survivor’s story. I highly recommend!
