That’s exactly what this podcast offers, from a deep bench of guests thanks to Andy’s network.

I am making a career change into talent development and was looking for some podcasts to get more familiar with the field and to get some inspiration and I stumbled across this podcast. I’ve enjoyed the episodes that I’ve listened to so far and a lot has to do with Andy, the host. He does a great job moderating his show and its clear he has a robust network of talent development professionals who come on and share their stories, best practices and insights. I think this is a great podcast to listen to if A) you are like me, and trying to break into the talent development field B) already a practitioner in this space, and looking to broaden your knowledge and network of trends and insights in talent development

This is a podcast where you think it will be all "business-y", and yes, it is. But so much of what they cover can be applied to your personal life. The ideas presented, shared by leaders from brands we all know, can really make you re-think the way you conduct your business and your life. Well worth the time.

So many podcasts on the world of management science and Human Resources focus on the meta frameworks and ideation of great thinkers. That’s great, and I love it. But, what I’ve really enjoyed about Andy’s podcast is the mixture of people who do a lot of thinking and research and those who are in the day-to-day trenches of talent development. Vision is wonderful for setting true north. I also need to hear about the visceral experiences of my colleagues who are struggling to bring vision to life.

I had the pleasure of stumbling over this amazing podcast one day after doing some googling on L&D podcast. Boy did I make the right decision to hit listen because what I heard was almost life changing. I listened on my way to work and it had a positive influence on my entire day. What’s most impressive about this podcast is its ability to cover so much via so many industries. It’s not often that you’ll find a podcast that covers all things L&D and be applicable to any sector, at any level of experience. Andy is great at asking the right questions with genuine curiosity that leads to actionable insights. A must add to any professional repertoire.

This Podcast is well crafted and developed to cover all areas of creating and development of a successful workforce. This is probably one of my favorite podcasts to listen to driving to/from work most days. Andy is a great, engaging host and the guests are extremely insightful. My first podcast review ever (I need to do better about this), and woefully overdue. Andy’s episode featuring Julie Giulioni was particularly resonant, as it addressed so many of the things I’ve been thinking about and am dealing with in my current organization. It was also relevant to our discussion at our monthly ATD chapter meeting. Loved, loved, LOVED it! Can’t wait to get and listen to her book. I’m now recommending the podcast to everyone, and also hoping to put Andy’s Talent Development Thinktank Conference on my agenda within the next couple of years.

I am hooked to the Talent Development Hot Seat! This podcast is very entertaining and informational. I am earlier in my career and I can honestly say that this podcast has given me some great practical ideas that I have taken into my day to day work. The speakers that Andy has are also phenomenal and has been a great way for me to build my own network of individuals that are all in the same space I work in.

This is a good podcast for someone hoping to get into the space and wants to hear how other professionals got there. But the use cases are touched from a high level and tactical approaches aren’t explored deeply for more advanced listeners.
