Great show with yourself, Intern Andrew and Bill Meltzer. It was informative to the viewer while watching the ESPN coverage on a second screen. Not having Russ on the show was a missing element due to his Outer Banks vacation.

Flyer’s Nitty Gritty is a much better podcast always a great conversation they don’t mail it in.they bring scouts on to the show. They don’t start fake fights with other podcast. Snow the goalie is Very inauthentic. Too narrative driven. If you don’t agree with everything they’ll resort to name calling.

I’ve been a long time listener and I’ve got to say that the quality of the podcast has not just gotten better with time, but has gotten significantly better. The information and insight you get regarding the Flyers is outstanding and it’s presented in an entertaining way. I look forward to each episode. Keep up the great work and, let’s go Flyers!

This has become my go-to Flyers podcast and I hate days when there isn’t a new episode. You guys are like a classic hockey mullet - offering some business and some party, for a complete package. I’ve been a Flyers fan since the early 90s as a kid - Bundy’s days! My Dad raised us right - he was there when they won in 74. I love the different perspectives you each bring to the table. Keep up the great work! And keep your chin up Ant - the true fans and your colleagues know you’re killing it. One request - can you offer the STG Logo mug in different exterior colors or change the font color? I’d love one but it’s hard to read. 🙂 - Alison

Used to be great podcast with consistent and timely podcast updates. Since they have focused on YouTube streaming and content, pod updates have lagged. Perhaps they’ve taken on too much with the pre and post game content. Disappointing, because content wise they are great.

Unlike some, I listen to every pod. I also read a lot and listen to the team and other teams news and pods hearing a lot. This pod is my top podcast, up there with Jason. Ignore the people that are hearing things from one side and close minded. Would recommend this to any wanting to listen. Keep up the awesome work! Love you three.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for around a year and I love it. It’s a long wait until Friday when I get to listen to the show. You guys have a good thing going with Russ steering the the ship, Ant with the most up to date info, and Buddy the Beaut with the first hand knowledge and an F-bomb to boot. You guys always tell it how you see it. It’s always real. I like lots of Flyers podcasts but this one is the best. I put this show in the category of info vs entertainment because although you guys give opinions your opinions are coming from facts and experience that hold weight compared to what a lot of people put out. That being said the show is highly entertaining and I’ll have at least one legit laugh out loud moment a week listening at work with earbuds. ( maybe my co workers think I’m nuts laughing by myself ) Thanks for all you guys do. On a side note I just want to say that I had an experience with Russ helping me out with some of my STG merchandise and he couldn’t have been a nicer guy. He went above and beyond and it showed what kind of person he is and you guys are. You guys are the real deal. Again Thank you. Go flyers.

I only started listening a few months ago and this has become my favorite flyers podcast! Wanted to get your opinion on something. My brother and I made a bet, he believes the flyers will be at or over .500 by the all start break. If they’re under I win and he buys tickets to a game this year. Full disclosure, the first time I listened to this show I thought it was about goaltending and as a member of the union I gave it a listen way back around episode 5 or 6. Just finished listening to the latest episode Too soon for Michkov and as always it was worth the listen. I’m an old guy that has been around longer than the Flyers themselves so no YouTube for me but I have to ask Russ if he thought Carter Hart was a top five goalie prior to the bubble? While I agree Hart should not be considered one of the top at this time I believe it has more to do with the state of the team, 2019 he’s the next great goalie, the next season AV’s message gets old and the team crumbles into a perennial lottery participant, is that all on Hart? It’s fair to say he could/should be better but I would not look to trade him, a young Carey Price watched the Flyers beat Halak in 2010 and he turned out to be pretty good for the Habs. Also Russ you went 180° with your logic when the talk turned to Michkov. Love the show even more with Bundy in the mix, best free agent signing in the history of hockey!! Also expecting my snow the goalie shirt any day now.

I have been listening to Snow the Goalie since before the 2019 season and haven’t stopped listening. Russ and Anthony are the perfect pair to speak from the side of Fans and Writers and adding Bundy is perfect to get the side of an NHLer. The guest they pull are next level as well and the crew seems to get genuine answers from their guest and not the same cliché responses. Hi guys, appreciate the podcast, easily my go to for flyers conversations and updates. Just wanna put this out there and get it rolling, but with the Ontario reign, Helge Grans wore #3, if he brings that to LV and Philly, this is my petition to nickname him “The grANSWER”

5 stars. As more of an old school fan who does not love the modern NHL but tolerated it, this is the best Flyer focused podcast and medium out there. The hosts are constructed well to create balance. Admittedly I greatly disagree with much of what Russ’ opinions are and his views of the game, but it creates a good foil to Bundy and Ant. However to his credit, Russ facilitates the conversation well. Ant and Bundy aren’t shills for the team and understand hockey from a non fantasy/video game world as far as roster makeup etc amd play goes. the insights they offer blend well from their respective perspectives and create good discussion with Russ. Grateful for the time you all take to talk about the game and grateful for sanity and not some collection of hosts who don’t get the game.

Overall this is the best Flyers podcast available. To me Anthony is the star. He is calm and composed when Russ and Bundie go off the deep end and get screechy. But the reporting is fair and balanced, so that will keep me listening.

Wonderful Pod! Ant and Bundy are great, Russ is a necessary evil, the vegetables to my steak dinner. Genuine question, I know Chris is such a great advocate for mental health and helping people with substance abuse issues but you guys also seem to be be advocates and promoters for Ice Wars. Honestly not making any judgements, I’m just curious if you think there is a fine line knowing the link between fighting, CTE, substance abuse… etc. Keep up the great work and LGF!! The Dead Rabbits

Have been listening to you guys for the better part of 4 years and the podcast is always phenomenal. Getting Bundy own took this podcast to a new level. I’m on the new age fan side so I never watched Bundy play but I love to put the podcast on while I work and listen to everything you guys have to say. Easiest 5 star rating I could give with everything you guys provide the fans. I have a question for you guys to think over or debate in the next pod if you want. What do you guys think of the rumors coming out of Montreal about the Flyers looking at offer sheeting Cole Caufield? Is there any truth that they are seriously looking into it and what’s your guys opinions on should they be thinking about doing it? Thanks!

Longtime listener of the show. I looked forward to every new episode that Russ and Ant put out. Full of insider knowledge and a realistic viewpoint of a mostly-burned fanbase, I loved it. When Bundy entered, I was looking forward to his insight and anecdotes, but his brash honesty about a struggling team on a rudderless ship (the SS Fletcher) honestly depressed me as much as the team did. My denial was becoming more evident. This past week’s episode proved so much to me about the integrity of the show: Ant and Russ (and Bundy in-spirit) having Val Camilo on proved that the show isn’t about a witch-hunt agenda, with both hosts laughingly admitting to how impossible it seemed to have her on. It makes me feel great to hear Bundy being excited again. They are still as honest as before, but the sun just seems to be peeking through the clouds a bit. Absolutely fantastic show, boys! Thank you.

I’ve listened to several hockey podcasts with the focus on the Flyers and this is the best one. Russ, Anthony and Bundy are absolutely great, entertaining and honest. They give good insight and have good information about possible moves from the team. They speak in reality in regards to the team, and it’s not always positive in regards to players or the front office I saw a great tweet from Russ Joy on Twitter some weeks back and he gained a twitter follower and a subscriber to the pod. I can’t seem to find his wrestling pod but I would love to give that a try as well. Keep up the great work boys! Let Go Flyers!!!

Finally, a Flyers podcast that isn’t fueled by the misleading Flyers PR machine and made by guys who aren’t afraid to give hot takes. As a Hershey native and as someone who bleeds orange and black (shoutout former Hershey Bear, Bundy) its great to find a podcast that holds the Flyers accountable. Only a few episodes into this podcast and it’s already given myself great insight to behind the deals/ moves already being made in such a difficult time in Flyers history. You can tell this podcast is fueled by Wawa coffees, Tastykakes and cheese steaks in how passionate they are when talking about the Flyers. Keep up the great work fellas!

Finally people that say it how it is about the Flyers that, Bundy and Russ rants is mainly why I listen. Also I Firmly believe that any flyers fan could do a better job than Fletcher as GM and Pres of Hockey Ops

This is the perfect podcast for any true Flyers fan. Ant, Russ, and Bundy’s personalities compliment each other well and these guys understand the pulse of the fanbase. Russ brings great energy and guides the show in great directions, Anthony is about as plugged in to the organization as anybody, and Bundy understands what it means to be a Flyer, a Flyer fan, and a hockey fan. Bundy was a great addition because he truly “gets it” with what has been lacking with the team. I look forward to each new episode, it’s my go to listening on a Friday after the new episodes come out.

All they do is cry for an hour about how it isn’t fair the flyers arnt tanking and subjecting us to terrible hockey for the next decade. Edit: they also constantly complain about the people who call them out on Twitter

By far the only Flyers podcast worth listening to. Added bonus is the 3 hosts look exactly like they sound. Bundy looks and sounds like a man who spends his free time chopping wood and living off the land at his cabin outside of Saskatoon. Ant looks and sounds like my Uncle Sal who ran numbers growing up on Germantown Ave in the 60s. And Russ looks and sounds like the squirrel who shows up on my deck every spring. Keep up the good work boys!

Love your podcast! Watch when I can. Listen every week. I grew up with the flyers- my first memory of life is on my father’s lap in the old spectrum watching a bench clearing brawl against the old Colorado team (I was 3). I love the fact that your focus on this podcast is the fan’s passion for this team, their knowledge of the sport and your dedication to sharing your honest insider knowledge of the sport. I have lived outside of the Philadelphia area since 1992. The NHL used to have one of the best packages for out of market games. Depending on satellite or cable; one could even get the games in high definition ( which mattered very much in the early aughts). This recent contract has destroyed the package. Now one has to have a subscription with multiple streaming services and packages. I do not get any games on TBS (due to my cable provider) and my local games are not on television (Seattle area) if the national broadcast has the rights. It is crazy. As a hockey fan, the app is awful; the NHL destroyed user interface that sadly the MLB AND MLS copied. I wish the NHL case about the FAN’s user experience. I hear it still works wonderfully above the border!! Keep rocking the pod!

Despite the Flyers dismal record, I’ve stayed loyal to this podcast because the guys talk about the culture that made the Flyers one of the elite franchises in pro sports. Coverage is balanced and objective, yet filled with the passion that make Philly sports fans unique. I’m especially happy that they covered the 2023 Flyers Carnival on-site. It evokes memories of taking my young daughter to the event in 2015. To this day, she remains loyal to the Orange and Black, even though we now reside in Georgia. Thanks and keep up the great work !

Big fan of the pod and usually agree with Bundy, but I don’t want Clarke, Barber or Holmgren having the ear of anyone on anything in the Flyers organization. I don’t even want them giving suggestions on the brand of coffee they buy for the break room. I’m 36 and can appreciate their importance to the organization, but the Flyers need fresh voices and a new vision moving forward. The “Flyers culture” of taking care of their own is understandably beloved by alumni, but seeing as we’re about to broach 50 years without a cup, it hasn’t done anything to help us succeed on the ice. I love all the teams in this city, but would trade the 08’ World Series and Super Bowl 52 without blinking for one Stanley Cup in my lifetime. Keep up the good work fellas and Go Flyers!!

Hey guys - absolutely great show today, on the emergency show after Fletcher’s firing. It’s too bad that Anthony couldn’t join but it’ll give him a couple of days to dig in I guess. The show as a whole is a must hear every week. It’s an educated voice of the fan and there’s nothing I trust more. Even though Russ’ AEW-like delivery isn’t my style, I rarely disagree with him. Anthony is absolutely a media member that I trust and believe in what he’s telling me. Chris Therien - definitely brings the heart and truth of the fans, while knowing what it’s like to be in the building. Chris - the message you delivered to the fans at the 40 min mark on the the Fletcher fired show was awesome. You know what it’s like to love this team and understand the frustration we all feel! I was ready to run through a brick wall - and that was from a message that preached patience!!! Keep up the awesome work guys. Love the show

Hey guys, great pod! Really enjoy listening each week. I just finished the latest episode and although I get Bundy’s take that no offers were made on JVR because of the non-fit on a contending team, I still believe it is an epic failure on Chuck’s part not to get something having known he needed to do this since last summer. Anyway, I realize everyone is upset with the state of the team and I am right with you, however, we need to stop beating the same horse. Yes, Fletcher is an incompetent moron. Yes, he has set this team back years in the “rebuild”. Yes, ownership has no clue how to run a professional hockey club. Yes! Yes! Yes! Everything you say is true but unless you are personal friends with Doc Brown and Marty McFly and can borrow their time machine, what’s done is done and it cannot be changed. Moving forward, I have an idea that I think would make for a fun episode. Let’s assume Chuck is gone in mid-April when the season ends (I know that’s a big assumption). Comcast hires each of you to be the next man in charge. Play GM and tell us how this can be fixed in less than 10 years! What do you do to actually jumpstart this rebuild? That’s what I’m really interested in at this point, and I bet other listeners are also. I’m guessing each of you may have vastly different plans and it would be cool to hear them. Thank you for your coverage of the Chuck Fletcher press conference. Hearing you go through it was incredibly cathartic. I’ve said it before but can’t think of anyone I’d rather go through this ride with than you. Only wish Buddy was on to hear him eviscerate Fletcher but it gives me a reason to keep tuning in. The combination of Russ’ “dickish sarcasm” and Ant’s solemnity just work. Keep up the great work. Also, congrats on your engagement, Anthony.

Bundy and Ant are great for commentary and insights and Russ just drives the show into a ditch. His monologues are waaaaay too long. When Russ starts talking, I hit the “forward 15 sec bottom”. On a good show it takes only 4 or 5 forwards to skip over Russ. Bad shows take 10-14 forwards to skip him. My record is 17 “forwards” to skip over Russ’s diatribe. That’s over FOUR minutes of mind numbing bad takes from an unqualified commentator. Russ, just ask 5 word questions to Ant and Bundy and listen. Thank you.

I met Bundy at the game against Montreal on Friday night and told him I’d leave a review. I am a man of my word. 5 stars for you guys. Bundy is a man of the people, any kind of AntSan content I’m in 1,000%, and Russ, you are a welcome counterbalance to what your colleagues bring to the table.
