    Poor quality
From the adds to the speakers, the volume is so variable that it is difficult to listen to.

    Used to like this...
Matt your audio sounds terrible but the guests audio was clear.

    Good listen
I enjoy listening to the variety of topics, getting into waterfowling, concealment, and the best facepaint is burnt cork hands down no debate šŸ˜‚

Best podcast for getting into waterfowl hunting
This was my first season hunting waterfowl and this is by far has the most useful information. I worked at Amazon this last year and listened to about 45 hours of podcasts a week. Other waterfowl podcasts like freelance duck hunting are good but to me they seem more like 3000 and 4000 level hunting and not as relatable to the new hunter. I have listened to some episodes several times they have such good info. Thanks from putting out such great content. One topic Iā€™d like to hear about is buying decoys. The area I hunted in Colorado has had a range from woodies to canvas backs and Iā€™d like some advice on what to buy.

    Itā€™s an alright show
The show itself isnā€™t bad but donā€™t join their Facebook group. They asked a political question and said theyā€™d stay neutral on it and when I had an opposite political view they pushed it upon me. Obviously not neutral.

    Keeps you informed
Had to work more than hunt this year, but this podcast keeps me in the loop of a sport I love. Good entertainment, guests and updates on equipment.

If you donā€™t have anything better to listen too
Listened to 20-30 episodes. My conclusion is if you dont know anything about duck hunting maybe this podcast is usefull. If you like listening to grown men cry about the fact they have no money so they cannot get all the fancy toys and bash on people who do then this is your podcast. But for me its id rather listen to nothing.

    Good Stuff
I really enjoy listening to your podcast. The one with your dad was great and just reminded me that I need to do more with my dad and son together. Keep it going!

    Question
Love the podcast, but why canā€™t I find it on the waypoint mobile app?

    Good stuff
Content is always good and the reviews have lead me to a lot of new podcast. Only gave 4 stars because sometimes the editing is a bit choppy but still a great show!

Hi, I am a newer waterfowl hunter. I got all the gear from decoys to a layout and such. I just need the experience and have to learn how to call. I find your podcast very beneficial to me due to the fact of being newer to the sport. I would like to know what the easiest ways to start learning how to call effectively would be. Thank you and keep putting out content I love listening to your podcasts!!!

    True podcast the average Waterfowler!
I think this podcast really rings true to the everyday average (realistic) Waterfowl person. It also is great in informing beginner hunters to the sport who need a more overall landscape approach to duck hunting. Iā€™m the owner of Quackaddict and have been hunting almost 20 years. A lot of what is said and products discussed here are truly realistic. Thank you for putting out good content!

    Second Chance still not good
I listened to the first few episodes and had to stop as the organization and quality was not good. Recently decided to check it out again and unfortunately it still isnā€™t great. The format is weak, the host seems un prepared, and the content quality isnā€™t there. Far better options out there. Also the childish airing of poor reviews and telling off the person who left their honest review shows the mentality of the host. This was a two star review but we will bump it to one because of the lack of mental fortitude by the ā€œhostā€.

    Great podcast!
I would suggest this podcast to anyone who wants to learn about hunting! I had been interested in getting into hunting for awhile but didnā€™t know where to start. After finding this podcast I have learned a lot and it has only sparked more interest! A must listen for beginners and experienced hunters alike!

    Fantastic hunting content.
This podcast is great for new hunters as well as photographers. It is very apparent how passionate Ben is about hunting and helping those understand his world within it. The quality of sound is great and the content and guests are consistently interesting. Highly recommend this podcast to new and experienced hunters and/or nature photographers!

    Entertaining and Instructive
I had no experience hunting growing up but fell in love with it last year. This podcast has been an awesome listen for entertainment, tips, and its overall macro view on hunting. Sound quality is great.

As someone who has just recently started hunting this has been such a great podcast for me! Great info and Guest
Love this podcast. It has been extremely helpful as I learn how to hunt, and I feel like it has grown with me. It started out very elementary and is elevating its content as I get through. Keep it up please!

    Legitimately Helpful
Love how (especially the last review) listens to the podcast and thinks itā€™s helpful and instead of saying how great this podcast is for conservation, new hunters and the future of hunting... this dude points out he doesnā€™t like the turkey episode... what a jerk.... great podcast.... a must listen.
  • Rob Dasler
Good waterfowl talk, solid guests but...
I generally really enjoy your podcast and you have some great guests, maybe could do a better job of prepping sometimes but definitely please DO NOT do another Turkey episode. That was a complete convoluted mess. I donā€™t believe you really did much to help any potential hunters and may have even confused existing turkey hunters. Especially with the talk of subspecies and hybrids. I love drinking beer and talking hunting with my buddies, but Iā€™m not recording it as a podcast. If you do another turkey episode, please get someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

    Novice waterfowler
I am just getting into the waterfowl scene. I bought my wife a lab for Christmas, and discovered that heā€™s a SUPER instinctual bird dog. So out of ā€œnecessityā€ šŸ˜‡ I am trying to learn all I can! I love that these podcasts are geared to people like me! Keep up the good work and great content!!

    Great Podcast
Whether you are a novice or veteran waterfowl hunter, Ben provides great information and dialogue about what this sport is all about, he created a platform for people to come together to learn and share their own experiences and insight into waterfowl hunting with like minded people. If you want to know more, all you have to do is ask questions, go to the Facebook group and youā€™ll start learning!

    Lacking useful info for beginners
I Elk and deer hunt and am get into duck hunting. I am open to entertaining podcasts but am really interested in increasing my knowledge and being a better hunter. After several podcasts I fail to see the value in continuing listening. I may have hit on a few randomly light on content episodes and my incorrect with this assessment but I have stopped listening and hope to find a podcast I can learn from.

Just what I was looking for
Iā€™ve been looking around for podcast that could potentially help me as I am a new waterfowl hunter. This podcast has given me much insight on things I could expect or ideas to put in my back pocket and save. I look forward to getting out this season and feel more confident after listening. Not only have I learned from just a few episodes, but some stories are extremely entertaining! Looking forward to listening to more!

    Fulfills my waterfowl needs!
I wish I could hunt every single day but unfortunately I donā€™t have the right job to be able to do that. Having something like this podcast helps fill the void! I wish there were more episodes but itā€™s informative and easy to listen to!

    Hunting waterfowl 101
Enjoyed listening and learning how to start hunting waterfowl. Its the best podcast for begginers and for the public hunters with a tight budget. Follow up all the social media for any questions and answers.

Not a fan of the format too much

    Best Iā€™ve heard thus far
Iā€™ve been chasing waterfowl for much of my life and have been so captivated by this podcast. Iā€™ve loved listening to episodes on my 8 hour drive from Georgia to our lease in Mississippi. If you have any interest whatsoever in waterfowl or goose hunting, this is the podcast for you. Canā€™t stop listening, great job!!

    Keep It Up!
By far my personal favorite podcast for waterfowl and hunting in general!!
  • Andrew_M.
    Insightful content
These episodes have been extremely beneficial to learn from, especially being a new waterfowl hunter. Episodes such as scouting were more beneficial to me than talking with local waterfowl hunters and local biologist only to receive the answer of "go find them". Additional episodes such as blinds and blind building were beneficial since where I am in NC, most of the swamps are difficulty to access and learning about makeshift layouts or discussing hiding techniques were very helpful. These podcast episodes are very enlightening for the novice waterfowl hunter and can provide insight to those already seasoned by providing new tips to keep the hunting edge sharp. Having the multiple guests on the show to discuss various topics display the commitment Ben and Tagen display to their audience. They are willing to put in the effort having a subject matter expert share their knowledge than discuss a specific topic for an hour just to talk. Lastly, Ben and Tagen consistently inquire from their listeners what they wish to hear in future episodes. These avid outdoorsmen are consistently striving to create information for which waterfowl hunters can benefit from.
  • Eh it's ok. Idk about it
    Awesome
Fun podcast. Theyā€™ve had some great guests so far. Iā€™m looking forward to more in the future!
