WookieefanWhat a gift! This podcast is so amazing for pharmacists preparing for exams or those of us who just need to review information that we may have forgotten. And, you said “moobs” in one of your episode. 😂🤣 That’s 5+ stars for me!
-
ItzMikaykayBest Pharm Podcast!Eric is a brilliant pharmacist who makes bite sized podcasts on medication pharmacology. I really appreciate his podcasts they are helping me in nursing school! Much love ♡

Louise777riSolid podcastLove that the episodes are shorter and still packed with a lot of information.
-
DivineTraderEric needs a voice coachShow is solid on content but Eric’s voice is horrendous to listen to at times with its abundance of vocal fry. Would get 5 stars if not such a dysphoric experience to my ears.
-
buzzlotusGreat for NAPLEX prepI have been listening to rlp by Eric C for more than 3 months now and have listened to more than 200 episodes. Eric did an excellent job covering the most important aspects of each drug within about 12-15 minutes. Great resource if you are looking for something to listen to while driving. I am a pharmacy professor and foreign pharmacist who is trying to get licensed as a registered pharmacist in the US. Highly recommended podcast. The only one I currently listens to. Thank you, Eric for making the podcast available in addition to other free materials on the rlp website.
-
Destineet17If you’re a nursing student this is definitely one for those drives from classI am currently taking pharmacology in my BSN program and I am just so grateful that I stumbled across your podcast. I normally don’t leave reviews but it is that good.
-
Mindy2234So good! This podcast is fantastic! I’m an RN, and this is so useful for reviewing meds as well as learning new information!
-
imtifflishVery HelpfulI’m studying to be a Pharmacy Tech and this podcast really helps me on my drug memorization. His voice is soothing and reminds me of Christian Slater, which is a bonus!
-
carlosrphRight to the pointPerfect for my daily commute, instead of wasting time stoked in traffic you can learn or refresh “real life pharmacology”. In less than 20 minutes you learn more than you can learn in more than one hour from other sources. Download and subscribe, you will really enjoy the work of Doctor Christianson
-
Isabellaaaa<33This is the BEST podcast for nursing students!!I know I’m not the only one who likes to learn by hearing things REPEATEDLY!! I am starting my accelerated nursing program in May and pharmacology is the only class that scares me to my core and this podcast has been SOOO great to help drill all these medications, contraindications, etc. in my head. I would personally like to thank you Doctor Christianson as a future nurse I appreciate you for the greatest podcasts!
-
Kelsiet210ExcellentAs a new NP I have found this podcast extremely helpful! I hope he never stops making new episodes. Starting in cardiology and there are so many helpful episodes
-
Montana GinaEric is greatThis has been a fabulous addition to my journey through NP school. I listen to the podcasts on the meds relevant to any subject we are currently on and it always leads to a deeper understanding of the content. Thank you!
-
J. IbanezPharmacologyThis podcast has helped me through NP school so much! Eric’s concise, to the point explanations of medications allows them to sink into my brain. So appreciate this podcast and have also utilized some of his study materials.

TheMeowingMenaceKristin from RaleighHello Eric. just a note to let you know that I am so glad that I found your podcast. I have listened to it every day (and night) since January when I started pharmacology class. Every unit I arrange the podcasts in a playlist so that I can listen to all of ones I need to learn on repeat. I appreciate the organized way you present, and the professional manner in which you speak. Your experience is obvious and shows in your work. Again, thank you and keep up the great work. kk

janawrightBest Pharm PodcastI’ve tried to find a podcast for Pharm half as good as this podcast and can’t find anything that comes close. All of the relevant “clinical pearls” you need to know in an easy to listen to format that also gets straight to the point. Love this podcast and so glad I found it.
-
AmichonskiFNP studentThis podcast is amazing for pharmacology review. I use it to enhance learning alongside my course work. Great pearls and study tips!
-
MollyHen1Helpful refresherVery helpful refresher on drugs and drug classes Quickly review mechanism, use, common ADRs and interactions
-
JustMyOpinion~FNP - Love the info!Such useful information with helpful reminders and clinical pearls.. it’s easy to forget information when you don’t use some of the meds all the time.. this podcast is my FAV!.. highly recommend.. and the 200 common med list, amazing.. thank you for what you do.. we appreciate you!..
-
MelBFNPDutasterideLove the podcast but a note on recent research findings: BPH is now shown to be PROTECTIVE against prostate cancer! PCa grows most often in the peripheral zone of the prostate and thus, reduction of the prostate (mainly the transitional zone) is postulated to increase risk of prostate cancer growth within the remaining tissue (peripheral zone). MatttgiiiDr. Christianson is as quick and to the point as possibleWonderful podcast when looking for study material or just a quick review. This podcast helps keep drugs fresh on my mind. Great for my commute as I study for my NAPLEX.
-
Medicina e farmáciaMD/PharmDExcellent material! Thank you very much.
-
BlizzardrunnerDecent reviewsNice refresher especially for things I see rarely. Very high level education, probably better for students than those who have been practicing awhile. I usually run at 1.5x or faster. A lot of advertising at beginning, middle and end of podcast. A 10 minute total podcast will have up to 2.5 minutes of advertising.
-
2021 PharmDBest Pharmacology RefresherThank you so much for doing what you do for your fellow healthcare professionals!
-
LoChelle1Great mid career refresherThis has been a great refresher course for me. I’ve been a pharmacist for over 30 years. I needed an update and this was the perfect update for me! The format and length makes for easy listening without zoning out. Keep up the great work!
-
elaine-lady-ricoVery helpfulGreat source of pharmacology. Useful in MTM and counseling new patients.
-
Rph TamVery helpful.I listen to these podcasts on my way to work and it helps alot during dispensing and MTMs. I am a LTC pharmacist. I see alot of patients using Mirtazipine these days. Please review it when you get a chance. Thanks for all you do!
-
thebrowncat77Has great potential but lacks detailsI love a good review- but these are very basic. As a practicing pharmacist I’d love more details. When talking about a medication’s place in therapy be specific about the guidelines and the step in therapy. When stating what the drug interactions are instead of ‘cardio selective beta blockers’ list them. A lot of time is spent on advertising other sites and understandable but the info has to be worth the wait.
-
kkmmwiLove this!Bupropion please!
-
•LMRB•Foreign pharmacistI’m a foreign pharmacist, graduated 10+ years ago but currently studying for my board exams in USA. This podcast has been ENORMOUS help. It’s very easy to listen to and provides those little pearls you usually overlook when reading those “little” pharmacology books. 👍 many thanks Dr Christianson
-
RachelmbennettFuture NP and this podcast is so helpfulI’m an NP student about to start clinical rotations and studying for my 3P exam. I find this podcast so helpful not just for a studying aspect but for real life tidbits I will use in practice. I highly recommend getting the 31pg pdf of meds too.
-

pharmpodGreat Refresher! This is a great podcast for newly graduate pharmacists because it provides a simple and brief reminder of specific drugs. Really impressed! Thank you
-
mpharm5Great for pharmacy students!I listen to one every day and it really helps me to understand and remember the meds.
-
meghannotthestallionGreat for NAPLEX prep and APPEs!I am so thankful for this podcast. Not only is it a great review over specific drugs, it is super convenient to incorporate a little extra studying in your day. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this podcast highly recommend it. As I get closer to my test date for the NAPLEX, I feel the urge to study non stop but that’s clearly not realistic or the best way to study… Real Life Pharmacology has been the perfect solution for me. I just put in my headphones and take my dogs for a walk or complete some neglected chores. I have to say, it is much more relaxing to go for a walk and listen to the podcast (my dogs approve as well). I also recommend listening to it on commutes to work or APPEs - it is a great refresher on key drugs you will see come up on your rotations!
