This used to be a good podcast(with TBW) but now it’s more of ADcast full of adds and has a host who doesn’t always have his facts right. If your going to cover the team, cover it correctly and don’t waste half the podcast pushing adds. (Update) just give my the superhalo bros podcast and stop adding other podcasts to the follow. If I want another show I’ll follow it.

The main show is great! The Super Halo Bros. always have a great and entertaining show and I look forward to listening everyday. Unfortunately, the Postcast is not good. The host doesn’t add any additional value to the listener that isn’t already covered by the Super Halo Bros. I feel like I should deduct one star from my rating because of the Postcast, but that would be doing a disservice to the Super Halo Bros.

Jon and Mike are the real deal. Angels fans for the long haul like me. They are authentic, informative, and entertaining. They’re a regular part of my day not long after they post a show. Keep up the great work guys, and, Go Halos!

They’re a couple of great guys who love baseball and the Angels. It’s an easy 30 minute listen and I have become an everyday’er. Thanks for the daily content for my drive to work.

The hosts have a very unbiased and logical reaction to the Ohtani controversy, unlike so many fans and even a disappointing Victor Rojas, who seem to be reveling in all this. Thank-you for being kind and thoughtful.

No real analysis of what’s happening with the team. Very poor predictions throughout the season and an overall bad attitude when you interact with them and offer some constructive criticism.

Found this Podcast about 2 months ago. I absolutely love it. As a truck driver I look forward to listening every morning.

I love the Angels my favorite player is Mike Trout

I'm a life long Chicago Cubs fan that recently moved to SoCal. The Cubs will always be numero uno in my heart but I needed to pick up a local team to root for. There is NO WAY I could cheer for the Dodgers so the Angels are my new crew. Mike and John do a great job of making follow the Angels fun. Great show! Go Angels!!!

I think these guys are great and appreciate the effort they put in putting out episodes 5 days a week. However some times they say things that just make you realize they’re fans and that’s it, not necessarily knowledgeable about the game or the league as a whole. Saying thing like having a high BABIP is a good thing, saying things like Zach Neto is an all-star when he in reality isn’t even a top 10 shortstop, and focusing way to much on things like “leadership” “attitude”. A great podcast for people who want to hear fans talk about their team, not the podcast to listen to if you’re looking for information and insight.

A great podcast! The two hosts are very energetic and informative while adding in a dash of fun interplay. As Angel fans, they definitely wear their hearts on their sleeves but they will easily criticize what they should be criticizing. I will continue to listen daily!

I'm a mets fan, only started listening to this podcast to hear them talk about ohtani etc but I've continued to listen pretty regularly because these guys just do a good job and are fun to listen to. and honestly, sometimes misery does really love company

I was not a baseball fan before, but Ohtani got me started with Angels. Then found Locked On Angels. Love the energy, all information and analysis these brothers share every morning. They get me energized and encouraged to be hopeful. Thank you!

Listening from New Jersey am a Phillies fan but of course root for Trout praying we get to see him in a playoff series. You guys do a fun show⚾️

I listen to a lot of locked on podcasts but I can say, this is one of the best locked on podcasts. The two brothers have great chemistry and great productions and advise. (I am talking to you Phill) Together they make a great podcast that I would recommend. I hope my opinion doesn’t effect the review because I am an Angel fan ;)

The show is good, but it should release after the night game. I have a morning commute and usually the show is not out. So I don’t listen on those days as there are other podcasts and mlb radio to listen to during that time. Could also use a few original guests on the show. If they released earlier it would be my first listen as a fan.

After trying out many Angels podcasts, I found this one with a combination of polished presentation and an overwhelming positive perspective. The hosts can be a bit goofy at times but cover all aspects of Angels baseball. If you’re looking for rants and negativism’s, look elsewhere!

Listening to them is great with their great quality on equipment to record and the studying they put into each episode. I hope to see them get more recognition as they deserve it! It helps me stay up to date on all my Angels ball and have some good laughs.

All things Angels Baseball related this is the show to listen to! Been following the Angels since I was a kid, and this is the show all Angels fans need to check out!

Been following Jon and Mike since their original show and they’ve done a great job with Locked On since taking over! I love their enthusiasm and they keep it real when the Angels struggle too. Hope they stay as hosts for a long time!

Love the super halo bros and this pod and their positivity even when being critical of the team. Also love the Weaver references and the love of the Angels that comes through!

Great Podcast

This high energy and entertaining podcast is at its finest when the Halo Bros dive into Baseball Savant and Statcast data regarding the Angels.

Really- these brothers are SO good at a baseball podcast. Informative, high energy, not afraid to fire off their takes. Honestly my only suggestion is get off this lackluster podcast network and create your own. Would love to see what they could do with more creative freedom.

Jon and Mark are legit Angels fans and know their stuff. This is exactly what I’m looking for as an Angels fan. So glad the Super Halo Bros are doing this! Such a good podcast. They know their stats and stuff from situational baseball to how to read baseball savant, stat cast and what it means for the Angels. They are lifting up the baseball knowledge of the average Angels fan, which I appreciate very much. This is a MUST listen for all Halo fans!!! My only critique is that they’re homers too often and lean into talking about the Halos like casual, overly optimistic Angels fan do.

Just started listening again. I gave up at the end of last year because the guy who replaced Brent was so awful. Last week, I figured I’d give this podcast another try, and Mike and Jon are terrific. Fun and informative (but their *perkiness* is sometimes a little much early in the morning). Super Halo Bros episodes are a little long for my listening schedule, so this is perfect!

Also. I always bring up the what if with my friends on how we blew our budget and didn’t get Vladdy jr. What could have been…

Get rid of Fridumb. Otherwise you are doing great.

Been really enjoying the energy and enthusiasm Steve has brought in his first week. You can tell that he loves the team while remaining objective about the flaws the Angels have, and that’s good to see. Looking forward to more episodes and great to have the show back full time!

Weird.. sometimes while I’m listening to ads.. a baseball podcast appears

Brent is a 10th prestige level 87 Doom Dragon. The man knows his stuff, which is especially important given the team has perhaps the greatest baseball player of our time! Even though they’ve largely let that man down, this pod is the antithesis of that disappointment and is the perfect comfort food for Angels fans!

Taylor was a massive loss for this podcast he brought great guests and had great topics. While I don’t dislike Brent he seems like more concerned with talking about his past “at the pearly gates” articles instead of current topics. while I get it’s the offseason and things are slow I feel like it’s a huge disservice to fans having episodes that are 15 minutes and are filled with commercials while plugging his own content since day one. I feel like he’s using the podcast to promote himself I feel like Taylor rarely did this it seems like a cheap move.

Pretty much everyone has access to twitter and baseball writers and content creators, you can get the same info there without all the “plugs” commercials and extra filler they put on here to produce a 10-20 min pod. So much filler so many ads and content that is already available elsewhere. This “Locked On” pods just seem like a money grab to have company’s sell adds and they just give bare bone content. If you love ads or commercials you never heard before and listen to Angels news you can already get elsewhere, well this pod is for you.

Talk about trading Ohtani.....ya I’m out.
