    Love it!
I really appreciate the perspective of LYK as a former prosecutor/current defense attorney, and I especially enjoy that Jon delves into the legal nuances. The Menendez Brothers episode is case in point!

    He’s the best!
Not only is he a cutie, he’s a respectable, non-biased lawyer who truly challenges the way the regular person would look at a case! Wonderful man, who seems to have a great head on his shoulders. I watch every video, try to tune in to every live. He’s a rockstar! Throughly enjoyable!

Hands down the best podcast in this genre.
I have been watching and listening to LYK and his podcast since the beginning. It is hands down the best true crime podcast and I appreciate the discussions that Peter has from an attorney’s perspective. Peter remains unbiased and openminded and I learn so much from each podcast episode.

    The BEST!!!
Peter!! I’ve been riding the YT vibe with you and had NO IDEA there was a podcast. Folks, if Peter says it, you need to hear it. This guy is no ego, always unbiased, very intelligent, a true gentleman with morals and principles. I promise, there’s NOBODY out there like him. He’s a great talker and the YT vids are addictive. I’m very glad to know it’s all on podcast. Become part of TLYK family!

    Podcast perfection!
Thank you to both of you guys and congratulations on the 1st episode of “Opening The Door”! I am so relieved that it was discussed about investigating all of the other individuals who (common sense thinking)- “allegedly” also have direct involvement in either helping commit these crimes or at minimum had knowledge that they were being committed. I have been screaming this since the “door was opened” during the trial that allowed the financial evidence to come in.. It is almost impossible for me to believe that his brother, Randy, also an attorney in the firm, and other partners just did not know about this. Also, the CFO, Seckinger…. What kind of job is she actually doing? So, they expect us to believe that she not once in 10-11 years questioned ANY of the other “accounting”… no way! I also thought it is an excellent point that for “true justice” to be served, there needs to be multiple investigations into LE, other attorneys, Judges- ESPECIALLY the female judge (I’m blanking on her name, but I want to say Carmen?) .. she , imo, has committed too many crimes to count and I would love to see the ODC stop her of her ability to be a Judge or a practicing attorney, ever again. From what I’ve read, unfortunately, it seems that the ODC has never once actually truly reprimanded any attorney nor Judge - technically, now- one, which is Alex Murdaugh. There is a lot of shady practices going on in the 14th circuit in SC, that is certain. I am from and still live in SC, but until this trial, I had heard of the boating accident, but had never heard the name “Murdaugh” before now. I am in Columbia, SC - where Hartpootlian, Griffin, the AG’s office, SLED, etc are all located! This is a truly wild eye opener to the justice system in SC! Great job, guys! I absolutely loved listening to you both!

My favorite Lawyer, YouTuber and Podcaster
Pete has great perspectives on each case and really challenges your mind with the “what ifs” and leads us through the legalities of it at the same time. There is no time to not be hyped up by Pete because he brings the energy and passion to the cases he talks about. I love the challenge he gives my mind. Major mind benders where he can “almost” sway my decisions on something that I believe in with strictly logic but not knowing the law! Love ya Pete and team!

    Peter Tragos
Fantastic podcast!!! I’m massive fan and follower of The Lawyer You Know on YT. I’m excited to hear his intelligent and logical deep dives in Podcast form. Plus, he happens to be a very kind and genuine gentleman who goes out of the way to help his members.

Learning so much and having fun
His wife deserves credit too! She always has things looking great in the background, she get Peter nice clothes, she obviously doing a TON of domestic engineering which allows Peter to do this. My dream is that one day will meet this superwoman. Peter shares great insight and education about the law and legal proceedings, but the best part is that he respects his family most. His wife and kids come first, he ends broadcasts in a timely manner to be with his wife and is often a few min late because he gets his kids in bed. He also works full time as a lawyer.

    Good content, inconsistent schedule
Educational content delivered in an engaging manner. Unannounced gaps in episode uploads during trials however reduces enthusiasm substantially.

    Good
Like the subjects (Elizabeth Holmes, Sunny Balwani, Depp v Heard) and the way they’re covered, just wish they’d make podcasts more often or that they’d be a little longer
  • ErikaChave
    Enjoyable
I really like this pod, it’s like listening to a friend talk about legal jargon in an easy way.
  • Honolulu Anne
    Sunny Balwani

    Well-done, my friends!
The live-interaction show @ Ms. Holmes was off the charts awesome! Speed-reading the incoming comments, economically answering them! No easy feat! Kudos! Those of us who followed this tragic 😞 story wanted, needed, LEGAL clarification of the verdicts…and we looked for it ASAP. Lives were impacted. Really commend and appreciate both of your patience, knowledge and skill! As an R.N., (and former English teacher), I know from complexity ~ and when I am out of my depth. You guys were THE BEST, by a long shot! Five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. If you have an original KJV of the Bible, please look up Psalm 83:18. Thank you so much!

Love the deep dive on the law
This podcast is in my rotation because of the deeper legal perspectives needed regarding the Elizabeth Holmes trial. Love this last episode where you took questions -they were really good- from the audience. Doing great work!

Like the content but not the sound
Echo in the room/sound is very distracting. Sounds like a large empty room

    Useful
No unnecessary chatting, gets straight to the point. it’s a great update on that Elizabeth Holmes trial.

    Misleading
I initially enjoyed this podcast until I began to notice the frequent logical fallacies and pro-defense bias (admittedly copped to on later episodes with an ironically poor defense of this choice). Here’s a perfect example. The host lauded the defense strategy of “blaming the victim” when Theranos investors relied on purposely doctored documents to advise their clients to invest. “This is a $100M investment,” the host exclaimed, adding more research should have been done. But that’s not what is at issue. The materials Holmes approved were chock-full of lies and were doctored to look like Pfizer wrote them. THAT is what is at issue, and the judge knuckle-wrapped the defense for blaming the victim. None of those facts were mentioned in the podcast. If the lawyer you know is crooked, than this is perfect for you.

Great for anybody wanting to go to law school, interested in learning about the legal field or just wanting a great podcast to listen to on their morning commute. I highly recommend this podcast!
