Andrea37377The best!I am a loyal listener to this podcast and recently became a paid subscriber because I love it so much and I usually don’t subscribe to anything. I can’t say enough good things about Stephanie she always cites her sources, picks reliable guests and isn’t afraid to question them when appropriate, and truly knows what she believes in. I would support Stephanie in anything she chooses to do.

BabyH77Great PodcastLove ALL your messaging!

SpoonPopSo needed! This is the podcast I didn’t know I needed! My husband is obsessed with decluttering and I grew up in a hoarder house. The struggle is real! Stephanie helps us both understand how the American obsession with stuff is unsustainable and bad for your mental health.

MzBlondeIt’s gotten too negativeAs a long-time listener of the podcast, I initially followed it due it being about minimalism. There have been lots of good take aways but the show has turned too negative for me. After recently listening to the “How to Let Go of Stuff” episode, I felt compelled to discontinue following the show. I am not interested in listening to someone who is overly judgmental and angry. This negative reinforcement approach is not suitable for me, but I acknowledge that it may resonate with individuals who find motivation in such content.
-
Benny0597UnfollowedDo not appreciate the political anger and lecturing on how we should think. Many other decluttering podcasts to follow that stick to just that! Best of luck.
-
KensiBlondeGreat contentFor the most part this is great content. I even subscribed. Unfortunately that didn’t get rid of the many unbearable ads like I thought it would. Stephanie is passionate and real. She really knows her stuff and does her research and has fascinating guests. Unfortunately they are a bit heavy on the millennials who talk like valley girls on steroids and make every statement sound like a question. Some of their voices were so dreadful I had to stop listening. I had to turn off the dentist who says “literally” every five words. 😫 Please millennials, record yourselves in some practice interviews. Listen to yourselves. But I’m a big fan of Stephanie.

mercle20Not all Sustainable Minimalists are DemocratsI have listened to this podcast for years and really enjoyed the content. However, I am no longer following or listening to the show because I don’t appreciate the political divisiveness.
-
JessieSueYeahA voice of reason!Stephanie does a beautiful job of bringing a huge range of topics related to sustainable living together and discussing them in an accessible and empowering way. Love the podcast!

ElizaCostAlways one of my favorite podcasts!Thank you! Great podcast today. Who knew we could accomplish so much just from not buying a pair of new jeans? I’ve been buying and enjoying second hand clothes since my children were preschoolers and at 75, still do. I receive constant compliments because the clothes are well made and often display a special or unique feature. And the guest is correct. Wear what looks good on YOU and makes you feel comfortable. Thanks again! Elizabeth from Fletcher NC

alexhpoulterReal talkThank you for saying the real things, helping us realize our intent and goals and saying the things that no one wants to say but that we need to hear!!!!
-
paigeamberbacaniTransgenerational ImpactsStephanie thank you so much for this interview with Ari Wallach and giving us practical steps to how we can begin to implement the long path mindset! As a young mama of three, it was such an incredible reminder to me that the first way to adopt this mindset is by being engaged! It is also an encouragement to continue limiting consumption and increasing creativity with my little ones!! This topic can be applied in so many different realms and I am so grateful for the diversity! (Pause: between the action and the reaction, who are we and why are we here?)

Mo in PBSustainable Minimalist PodcastI’ve been listening to this podcast for over four years and absolutely love it. Stephanie is down to earth, but also down to business without a lot of irrelevant chitchat. Her content is well researched, the format is very professional and the subject matter current and relevant.
-
MStone71It’s worth the subscription cost!I have listened for a while now and just paid for a year subscription to support the show. Stephanie reads all the same books I do and is on the same page with everything that’s important to me. It’s like chatting with a best friend, and I couldn’t bear to miss any episodes. The mission is 100% worth my money, thank you, Stephanie, for doing what you do.

Let down 4Love this showLove this show! But I do have a concern about micro fiber cloths being promoted. My understanding is that they break down and leave lots of micro plastic in our environment. I think that you hold a lot of trust with people and so it’s important to get this right.
-

Helping this insomniacOne of my top podcasts!Love this podcast. I love that Stephanie’s passion on the top comes through in the show. You can tell she really cares about what she’s speaking about. I often feel the same way she does on certain topics and feel like no one else around me even notices like I do, so I love hearing someone else like Stephanie take note. 5 stars!

KristenSchlaffLife changingStarted listening to about 3 other podcast when I knew it was time to clear clutter. (Just like clutter) was overwhelmed with the amount of podcast on the topic. (All of the podcast were also very good by the way). I chose Sustainable Minimalist because Stephanie not only provides realistic ways to minimize, but the mental benefits of doing so, and how this can improve relationships with those affected. I enjoy the explanations behind purchasing for examples glass over plastic containers, and sustainable deodorants I didn’t know existed! Look forward to listening every week, and enjoy how relevant each episode is to todays’ world. I’ve been sharing a lot of what I’ve learned with my friends and family from the podcast, and now many come to me for advice! It’s so great, thanks Stephanie for all you do :)
