RonSoVileAmazingly informative and interestingCame here after hearing the name of the podcast as a recommendation for someone newly entering the cybersecurity field. Started listening from the very first episode a few days ago and I can’t turn it off. It’s just an endless fountain of knowledge.

JohnyyyydeeGreat ListenI’m not even a very techy person but I love this podcast! So many very interesting stories. Plus you get some insight on how to keep yourself safe from hackers.
-
space_monkey_mafiaone of the best podcasts on the internet!I LOVE Darknet Diaries! Even as someone who isn’t particularly well up on hacking and cybersecurity this podcast is so enjoyable and entertaining! I also really appreciate how Jack promotes privacy and security while staying completely non political.

Dan6536The hacker mindThis podcast covers every kind of hacking imaginable: identity theft, teenage hackers breaching game studio networks to steal unreleased games just so they could play them, counterfeiting, social engineering, scamming the Puerto Rican lottery, and so much more. Listen to a few episodes, and you will begin to understand how the hacker’s mind works.

Slendercraft101Love itIt’s a great podcast and i love the stories. I’ve been looking for a podcast about hacking and tech and most are hard to follow but he explains everything amazingly and even if I didn’t know that much about hacking and tech I would be able to understand everything. Great podcast

Lofi Digital MonkWe all want to be like Jack.Igor (The Spy episode) and now Mobman 2. Genius stuff.

DrThrowDownWho is this podcast for?The description of this podcast makes it seems like it will be about the dark materials of the dark web and such but nope, it is really just about hacking. So this podcast is about hacking jobs and crimes. But they are not aimed at general listeners. They go too in depth at the logistics of said hacking so the normal everyday person will not fully understand. But the host talks in a “scary” tone so he is not aiming at the hackers and specialists. So why should anyone listen to this podcast?

dexfan187LoveI love your show!

AiajdhcebbcSo entertaining and informativeOf all the podcasts I listen to, this one is the most interesting and entertaining. Alot of the stories are of topics I have no direct experience or knowledge of. Must listen podcast!

Bijoy5000BangladeshHi Jack, love your show, huge fan, all the way from Bangladesh. I just wanted to let you know, remember the now apparent hack on the Bangladesh central bank that North Korea did? Apparently it was entirely a sham, apparently bad actors from within the government stole money from itself. You can get in touch with the man who investigated the entire incident, his name is Tanvir hasan Joha! Also the there was a mass uprising in Bangladesh recently during which we had an total internet blackout for 4 days straight. Which was also a sham sold to us in the name of a terrorist attack which cut our inbound internet cables. Anyways, thank you again for all the stories, interviews and opinions.

goblin89Crypto, free speech & privacy absolutismI followed this podcast for a while. It was somewhat entertaining (if cumbersome to listen to) when it covered crime as crime, but it quickly stopped being so when the host started taking the side of money launderers. This is not an “ambiguous” question as he claims, the question is clear. You cannot claim you run a laundering service and say “ah, it’s not for criminals”. It is all the more ironic that he uses countrues like Russia as a proof that we need crypto tumblers. My friend, by far the biggest users of your crypto tumblers at massive scale *are the governments*. And they do it to finance violence, bypass sanction, mainrain own power, further oppress its own people and wage wars. If you used that laundering service yourself for neutral purposes, that is a drop in the ocean, but your misplaced crusade undermines the only way to stop it peacefully (sanctions). Yes, if you are a fan of crypto, your transactions are public. That is the point of public ledger. If you don’t like that, then don’t use crypto. His free speech absolutism is just cherry on the top. In a civilized society, free speech is never truly unconditional. For a more balanced take on crime on the Internet (just sans interviews with actual criminals), try Risky Biz.

RobbobakHookedDubsnatch was my first experience with this podcast. Fascinating story told in a wonderful way with great narrative/commentary.

DnB FanaticRe: DubsnatchDubstep often includes high-pitched, modulated sounds that might remind you of dolphin noises because of the heavy use of digital sound manipulation techniques, particularly through synthesizers and effects like pitch shifting and frequency modulation. Producers in the genre frequently experiment with unusual, high-frequency sounds to create the energetic and unique soundscapes that dubstep is known for. These effects can sometimes result in sounds that resemble dolphin calls, adding to the genre’s distinctive, often otherworldly, auditory experience.

noblegestureOne of the best there isBeen listening for years now. Love to see the journey. The outro script for Dubsnatch was on fire!
-
Dr. WhosewhatsitsDolphins! Now that you mentioned the dolphin conspiracy it’s impossible to unhear it. They’re everywhere!
-
LazyoldsunAnnoying hostThe topics are interesting and well researched but the hosts constant interjections make it hard to listen to. Its like someone constantly poking you on the shoulder to say, "are you seeing what I'm seeing?!" Yes. I am. Please stop interrupting.
-
Snowvixen13Dolphin DubstepJack cracked the Dolphin dubstep code. Congratulations. In all seriousness, It’s always a pleasure listening to Darknet Diaries. I learn something new every episode. Keep up the amazing work, Dolphin Jack!
-
Nick_001Great stories worth sharing! The stories Jack shares are incredible; I frequently find myself telling my non-techie friends about them because they’re so fascinating. He frequently interviews fantastic, interesting guests from all sorts of walks of life. Unfortunately a trend I’ve noticed in the last few episodes is the host’s tendency to fluff the story with 1-2 minute asides that basically say “Wow, isn’t that so crazy! I mean, can you believe it? That actually happened!” These comments might just be Jack’s honest reaction, but they seem to be added in post. If so, they’re redundant and rather than adding more excitement they just feel patronizing. Jack, you’re a fantastic story teller; let the amazing story stand on its own without telling us how amazed we should be!
-
The R2D25 starsSince you release once a month, have you ever considered making your sessions 2 hours or more? When a podcast is interesting I have no problem listening up to 4/5 hours! Just a thought! Good job
-
camocarmelcamelRacist lolHe’s got all the compassion and understanding in the world for Americans and Europeans who break the law with hacking… and nothing but contempt for Indians doing the same. Hm…
-
GbtjgchhOne of my favorite podcastsIm always starting the podcast like “oh this one probably won’t be as good, I don’t know that guy he’s talking about, then 30min in I’m captivated!” Keep up the good work! Only one thing to work on! (The forced laughter sometimes… needs better acting lol)
-
MartinMleczkoCaptivating!I started listening to Darknet Diaries after listening to an interview that Jack did on another podcast show (The Jordan Harbinger Show) and have been hooked ever since. So many unexpected stories and I have geeked out on the info your guests shared. (And I am more like a “wanna be” tech person, but really dont anything about tech.) It makes me feel so smart when I catch a news report on the topics your guests talk about (ie: The Puerto Rican Cartel) but also, it’s like Jack gets the stories before it hits mainstream news! I have also learned so much from this show. I love how Jack tells the stories that really leave me wondering if I should be so trusting with big tech companies who say they keep our info safe. He really informs his listeners and teaches me to want to be in control of my own personal info. Overall, great reporting, storytelling, and info on topics that even the non-tech person can follow.
-
peebzusStories everyone should hear..The host of this pod does an absolutely outstanding job producing the wildest, highly engaging and expertly told stories about the real dark web. I never know what to expect in every episode, but I’m always left either laughing to tears or my jaw on the floor. The best thing about this show is you don’t need to have an advanced technical background to appreciate the content; Jack and his guests do an excellent job of explaining things for folks that aren’t necessarily software developers, but it helps if you have an understanding of computer systems.
-
bookmeaholidaypleaseBest shower everJack does an amazing job with this podcast. All guests are so interesting, the details of the podcast, the quality, it’s all amazing and incredible! I could listen to this show forever!
-
Bbob712Bro! 🤯❤️How in the world does this not have a 5.0 please explain that to me? This guy clearly is intelligent absolutely puts a ton of effort into every episode. There’s not many podcasts out there that I’m aware of that can come close to this. I’ve learned so much from Jack that I’d like to hit him with every paycheck a few dollars. I will always listen to this podcast until I can no longer listen or you are no longer producing content.
-
This apps is badDangI love everything about Jack and his show. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have taken my first approach into the cyber realm. Thanks to this 1st ever podcast, I was immersed into something nostalgic of my video gaming years and throughout my suspicious encounters on the web. I highly recommended to everyone at my company and had very good feedback as well.
-
seveneightsnineRightStill #1Jack’s hosting abilities are in a completely different league than his peers. You can add his editing and —- This show is so much better than the others, clicking 5 stars wasn’t enough; it needed to have a written statement. Thank you for your work, I truly hope you’re considering two shows a month as it’s definitely missed.

Sydney MWLove the guy and his storiesThis is my favorite cybersecurity podcast. The subjects are always innovative and Jack is a fabulous commentator and interviewer plus he is hilarious.
-
BoneyNerdawesome!great podcast. always interesting to hear the stories and the editing is well done. well done sir! thank you for your hard work.
-
Jon-027Intolerably cringe hostJust let the guests tell their story! The incessant interjections of repetitive and meandering personal thoughts throughout the episode add absolutely nothing. I wish he would realize that he is not the star of these episodes. I return to this show every six months or so just to check in to see if he's altered his editing and production at all to tone it down, because the stories and guests are great. But nope. So frustrating.
-
emacioNobody wants to hear a host eatDecent show in the vein of reply all / hard fork but second episode I heard the host is like slowly savoring eating to open the show and when it didn’t tie into anything I turned off the show and will prob never open it again. Nobody wants to listen to you chew man. That’s 101
-
Bb48473Please let guest talkLove the show! I just wish Jack didn’t cut in to tell the guest story for them. Sure it’s easiest on the ears but I would rather hear the nuances in the guest voice to get a better idea of them and their personality.
