    Best board gaming podcast around
This show is my favorite board game podcast. I feel too many shows focus on reviews and only tackling the new and the hot. TGiB focuses on the fun first. All of the hosts, both past and present, are amazing and funny. It is always a highlight of my day when it drops and I cannot recommend enough!

This game is broken is the best board game game show podcast in the world. I still stand by it!

    Laugh out loud funny
I’m late to the party and just discovered TGIB but I’ve been binging. Such a funny show. I literally laugh out loud every episode.

    Could listen to this forever!
I love this show. I am late coming to the show, just started listening two months ago but now I am going back to listen to all the episodes. I could listen to this show all day! The games are interesting and well thought out, the humor is effortless and witty. I am just going to be sad when I run out of old episodes and have to wait for new ones to drop.

    Indescribably Good
I cannot explain to you how much fun this show is. This is the best board gaming podcast that’s also not really about board games. I listen to a lot of podcast, several board game podcasts, and this is by far the best one. Whenever I need a good laugh THIS is the show I turn to.

    BEST.
Best board game podcast. I’ve discovered this recently and have binged it nonstop. Soooooo good.

This is “Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me,” but with board games
That’s it. That’s the review. I was a late fan of the NPR quiz show, and I am a late fan of This Game Is Broken. If this relation has been made, I apologize for repetition, but it really IS the boardgame equivalent of that quiz show, and it’s HILARIOUS!

    Nuff Said
I just saw a previous reviewer whose review was titled “Asenine,” followed up with “Nuff said.” This review was a 1. I would like repeat the sentiment with a rating of 5. Asenine. Nuff said. 5 Stars.

Listen to this show to save humanity.
This show leaves me confused. Is it the most brilliant thing that’s ever come to Board Game media? Or is it the sad window into the lives of five humans staring into the eyes of Cthulhu and slowly giving into their own insanity....? The world will never know. Except if it is the later, it is your moral obligation to continue to listen, and before they can unleash the elder gods (which should become increasingly clear that this is what’s happening), you must join me and others as we light our torches, grab our pitchforks, and force these five to play Monopoly, thereby ultimately having them destroy each other. It’s 2020, y’all, LET’S SAVE HUMANITY!

    Great show!
Easily one of my favorite podcasts! I am always looking for more board game based content to listen too and this show is great. The crew is funny and the content sets itself apart from all of the other board game podcasts out there. Thanks for keeping me entertained guys. Don’t stop!

    Definitely my favorite podcast!
So I was late to the party and just started listening to TGIB a few months ago when I was looking for something to make a long car trip seem shorter. I binge listened (totally a thing) to all of the episodes and now just wait for a new one to come out every other week. The cast just fit so well together and I enjoy trying to play along in the car. I recommend this to anyone who likes board games and even those who are not into them yet. The teams play off of each other perfectly and they are just a joy to listen to. Also, I think Matthew Jude is secretly an optimist.

    Most fun board game podcast
I love playing along with you guys while I drive in my car. I especially love the musical games when Dave or Matthew write a song about a game. I would buy their albums 😁keep up the good work!

    Lost something but still good
This podcast really lost something when Dan exited, but still a really funny and entertaining show. Wish they would refrain from dropping f-bombs (that seems new with Kiki) so I can play it around my kids 🤷‍♂️.

    Never bored
This is, hands on the wheel, best time I've ever had shouting answers at a radio. I love each and every personality on this show, how their individual talents come through, and just their love of play. So grateful to have this to listen to on long days.

    Binging this show currently
Sooo I’ve come late to the game. But I’m finally here and I am loving it. I laugh a lot and enjoy all the dumbness that happens. Keep up the good times friends!

The Best of the Board Game World
I often find myself laughing out loud and shouting out answers. Dave, Nick, Mike, Matthew, and Kiki are some of my favorite people.

    Always makes me laugh
Even when I don’t recognize all the games (although I’m getting more knowledge as a result of listening), I can always find something that amuses me.

The Board Gaming Game Show for Grownups
If you love the Saturday morning NPR quiz shows, board games, and sarcastic/sardonic/self-deprecating humor, you have to give this show a listen! I suggest listening to at least two episodes before deciding what you think, because a great part of the fun for me is appreciating the running gags that have grown up with the show. After being hooked by the holiday crossover with Flip the Table, I've gone back and listened to the entire series to get caught up. Give This Game is Broken a listen, and see if you don't find that it's your new favorite podcast, too!

    Fantastic Podcast
This is a great podcast. Host is awesome, and the main panel are hilarious.

    For all SUSD fans
The hilarious Shut Up and Sit Down Podcast finally has some real competition! Proving that board game related humor does not have to require quickly turning down the volume or only listening with headphones on—no! These guys are funny in the best way, and giving something new to the board game hobby.

Wait wait, the board game show
If NPR’s Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me and Shut Up and Sit Down had a podcast baby (is that even possible?) This Game is Broken would be the result. At only a few episodes in, it’s already a great listen. I’m impressed with the breadth of Games used in the game show, as they aren’t relegated to newer games. I play along at home and can’t wait till there’s a call-in option live. Keep up the good work!

    Great idea!
Having stumbled on this podcast after the loss of Flip the Table, I’ve really enjoyed listening to the same guys I enjoy on YouTube, play a game show. If you're a fan of board game hobby, then this is a MUST listen!

Very funny for board game geeks
This podcast rewards my board game fandom with inside jokes, trivia, and humor than only someone who spends hours a week on BGG would find funny. The hosts have great chemistry, but be warned that there are a few cuss words and the off-color jokes here and there.

    Worth a listen
If you are into board games and looking for an entertaining podcast- this is the one. There are a bunch of review style podcasts- dice tower should be the go-to there- but this is a nice break from the routine and still gives an idea of which games these guys love/hate.

    All about Matthew Jude
This podcast focuses on the secret life of Matthew Jude, winner of “Face of Boardgames” pageant three years in a row. It’s at turns funny and heart wrenching as it slowly becomes clear to the listener how he is being secretly betrayed by those closest to him.

    New Standard? Maybe
I enjoy this podcast because it meets me right where I'm at in my love for board games. Different than the normal board game podcast format, it's not watered down for those new to the hobby. Those who are familiar with games are going to find this the most amusing while newer fans are still able to enjoy it and it's humor.

    5 Thumbs Up
I don’t normally write reviews, but I really appreciate “This Game is Broken”. Their comedic quirkiness rival the likes of Flip the Table and coincidentally they fill the FTT-sized whole in my heart. Keep it the great work!

    A great train wreck
A great comedy variety show that like the early trains in Britain were funny looking and scared the horses. (This is as much 18XX as I think the show will get). While many joined to listen to the first episodes because of Dan but really hoping to hear of Cora, they have stayed for Dan's uncommon core math skills and point scoring system. While Dave is a true professional entertainer with preparation, Dan entered the the city where all life is a game, Los Angeles, to thrift two gems, the Brothers Murphy. And then there is Matt, who seems would rather be playing cockroach poker but does the yeoman work behind the scenes.

Greatest cultural work in the English language!
A must listen for all human beings. The only negative is that the hosts’ names are too close and it’s confusing telling them apart. If the hosts could change their names so that each starts with a different letter of the alphabet, that would be great! Otherwise perfect!!!

This is a dumpster fire, but in a good way!
This is a dumpster fire, but in a good way! Like if it’s cold outside and you forgot your jacket and you see a dumpster fire you’re like “sweet!”. As you stand there warming your body you start breathing in the fumes and you think, “maybe this was a bad idea?” Then you start to get a little happy because you stood there too long but then you get a little paranoid and think, “what if someone didn’t properly dispose of an aerosol can, the dumpster might explode?”. The episode ends way before your brain would melt or get injured from improperly disposed trash. It’s great!

This is the greatest thing to happen to my ears
Probably on par with first time I heard my children laugh, my wife say I do, or Arnold Schwarzenegger saying... well anything really. For real though, this podcast is hilarious and a must for any cardboard nerd.

This is great! I love the atmosphere of friends playing together...and they don't lie. The game (or the game master!) is definitely broken! ;)

    Board Game..Game Show?? YES!!!
Loved the inaugural episode. Can't wait for more funny board game trivia and pure comedy gold :-))

Finally, an intellectual board game podcast.
A panel show about board games that blends dramatic one act micro plays, inventive board game upgrade ideas, and lightning fast quiz rounds into one easily digestible podcast. The British accents lend credence to the nigh incomprehensible high level maths involved in the scorekeeping. I'm already looking forward to my next fix of This Game is Broken.

So funny for board game lovers and just everyone!
As an avid participant in the board game community, this was such a breath of fresh air-what a fun and funny way to talk about board games! The panelists are all sooooo funny and the games were great to listen along to! Would recommend for anyone looking for a laugh, who loves board games, or both!!
