The only flaw of The First Cut was that it was a bit too much of a "Company Man".... then you morph it into a gambling podcast? Wow.... was the only daily podcast that covered events daily. Normal Sport, take over this space please!

Not a fan of the show rebranding and now pure focus on gambling. You’ve ruined what was once a good product. Have to unfollow. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Just started listening to the first cut this season because it was different than than the other golf betting podcast. Now they changed the format, they are just like the other dozen sports betting podcasts. The new format misses what the first cut brought to the table, comedy and non betting golf insight. Unfortunately I won’t be listening to the new show. Wish you all the luck but I already have a few golf betting shows I listen to regularly and don’t have time for more of this format.

The recent host changes are confusing. Why change a formula that was working? The old team and format was great — my favorite golf podcast. Nothing against the new guys but, collectively, they’ve got zero chemistry. Plus, they’re all over the map, trying too hard to yuck it up with hot takes instead of hard data and facts. It now sounds like every other golf podcast out there. Generic “blah, blah, blah” in my best radio voice. This is what happens when accounting suits overrule creatives and their content.

You guys talk a lot about the TV ratings being down for all tours. And I agree that that is partly because the game is fractured. But do you think that overall ratings might also be down because people consume golf in different ways now? (For instance, I am a golf sicko and follow PGA, LIV, DPWT, and TGL quite closely, but I don’t watch much of it on TV. I consume it mostly through YouTube, Podcasts, PGA Tour Radio, and their websites) Great work guys, Keep it up

These guys are fun to listen to and informative. I honestly mainly watch pro golf to keep up with this podcast every week. Love all the personalities and the goofy tangents.

The crooked Cantore conversation was by far my favorite conversation to date.

Overall an informative podcast, but Immelman could stand to dial back on the name dropping. They’re supposedly serious golf analysts but have an obvious almost fanboy-like bias in favor of Rory McIlroy.

Rick is masterful at delivering nerdy golf statistics in an entertaining way. He has some of the best Golf DFS tools in the industry.

This is the most informative golf podcast I have found to date. I love the inclusion of advanced metrics and analytics. It has really helped me gain an understanding of how to truly measure the best players in the world. Not to mention it is very entertaining, and Patrick is low key hilarious. He works in some great movie/pop culture references.

I actually enjoy this podcast quite a bit and learn a great deal from Mark Immelmann's measured and nonjudgmental reviews. What mars the broadcasts, however, are series of repetitive ads, stuck in the most frustrating and interrupting locations, that go on and on for way, way too long. Maddening.

Enjoy the commentary but the audio quality is legitimately almost un-listenable

Patrick has been such a valuable add this year. I stopped listening because of the coach. Patrick is insightful and gels with the crew. The coach wouldnt admit if he was wrong.

Used to be better, sometime recently they raised the volume of their commercials to much higher than the actual audio. 1 star.

I would give a 5-star review if Kyle would stop saying “like” and “it’s like” every third or fourth word.

This podcast is 100x better than anything I hear on the Golf Channel. Rick KP and the Boys are just the best!

I don’t care what joe musso’s contract demands, but let Rick host the show please. HQ producers are confused how to maximize their talent.

I could literally listen to these guys talk Goff all day long. It's the best golf program on podcasts, radio or even TV. Aside from the golf itself. Favorite episodes are always Sunday.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and for some reason this the only one where all the hosts breaths before speaking is really loud. Is it the mics or something? Makes it hard to listen to.

This podcast unnecessarily reveals the winners of tournaments in the titles which can be a spoiler if you haven’t watched the tournament yet. This has happened too many times for me so I’ve had to unsubscribe.

Along the lines with rolling the ball, back how interesting would it be for the PGA tour to adopt a similar format to F1; different regulations (ball, clubs, etc) every few years?

Remember the PGL League? to help the European tour or DP world tour, if Keith Pelley spoke with Andy Gardiner and they came up with a fall season , or even did these team tournaments throughout the year , do you think it help the DP world tour, and also get more eyeballs to it, and if it worked , maybe the PGAT would use their Alliance to merge something with it to make golf more “appealing” to outside non golfers? I think team Taylormade, team titleist, team Calloway, team PXG etc. would be dope!

Long time listener here. 1. Explain to me and many fans out there how is it possible Jay Monahan still has a job? Everything he said wouldn’t happen has come true. SGS podcast seems to be only one’s talking about PGAT leadership mess. Only glimmer of hope is Tiger and Rory deciding to take charge and be adults in the room. 2. This is fantasyland. What happens with LIV and PGAT long term? There are no rules. Discuss a scenario where they merge and work together. Fire Norman. What else? I still have love as a fan for a lot of those players.

Question to discuss: Kyle always talks about there being 10-15 guys that matter in golf. Please debate and discuss who are those guys that matter?

Love the show, here’s my question: When you use a plunger, do you grip it like a golf club? I noticed that I used my interlocking grip when plunging the other day, and I can’t tell if I’m weird or normal.

If LIV golfers are eligible to compete for the European team, would their team chemistry and camaraderie be dysfunctional and hurt them? Or could they put that aside for a week for that competition?

The show isn’t bad when KP isn’t there. But First Cut is unlistenable when he’s in the lineup. “It’s like….uhhhhh…the thing is….uhhh…like….”

Love the podcast! 1 question: What do you guys think about switching the FedEx cup playoffs to a purely match play style event? Seems like it would align with many other team and individual styles sports and would be more interesting to watch. Maybe only top 30 get in. Keep up the great work!
