On the May 27 edition of Pod Save America, one of the your hosts made a juvenile crack about Rep. Gerald Connolly, the recently deceased stalwart of the House Democratic caucus. The remark was callous and unprofessional. Even worse was your decision not to edit the remark out of your program. I suggest you apologize to your listeners and to Connolly’s friends and family.

For the past few weeks I can’t seem to listen to this show. The episodes always say they’re unavailable, even if I wait a couple of days between attempts. I don’t have this issue with any other podcast. I’m not clicking the subscriber only edition, not sure what’s going on.

They went from “I barely use ChatGPT” to “Here’re multiple ways I make it check its work” in seconds. Lovett is still fun but these guys ain’t it.

I love your weekly podcast and I always listen to it but I can’t handle listening to all the content you put out. It’s just too much and I don’t want to subscribe. I’m an old person so I don’t mind the commercials. I just want you to send me the regular weekly show and stop sending me all the extra subscriber only podcasts, but there’s no way to turn it off. Thank you for listening.

In 2020 I made multiple $200+ donations to democratic candidates in states other than my own via Act Blue. Since then and until this episode aired, the emails, texts and robocalls were endless. As a result I refused to make any donations in 2022 and 2024. And I refuse to make any future donations until the DEFAULT when making an electronic donation is that as soon as the payment transfer is complete ALL of my information is fully deleted. If I have to do a search and click for such an option - no donation. I WANT to help, but being taken advantage of and abused will, unfortunately for all of us, prevent that. PLEASE find a way to make it stop so that I can once again help the cause. Great pods, thanks to all.

I hear Dems, Dem consultants and Podcasts rattle on endlessly as to the shortcomings of the Dem brand and why they got smoke checked in 2016, almost lost 2020 and prison raped in 2024, or why their base left them for a conman. They have all sorts of theorems to describe their catastrophe. There is but one theorem that never crosses their mind or comes out of their mouth: Maybe there are just more MAGAs than Dems. 2 of the last 3 elections would seem to point to this possibility. The fact that our World, via nature, produces more Deplorables than halfway decent people should surprise nobody that's spent more than 15-minutes out in that World, yet my theorem remains unspoken. You'll find a Dem using the "N" word before you ever find one spouting my theorem. This seems a reasonable theorem in need of further analysis. I think MAGA will do much better in the mid-terms than the Dems think possible; besides Trump will never allow the election to go forward if polls show the MAGAs losing the House. All is lost. Get out while you can.

Just kept pulling the party line, makes the interview with Dean Phillips look ridiculous now. Maybe next time, be honest with your feelings instead of a shill who gets the exact opposite consequences. Maybe be interdependent thinkers instead of paid parrots. Grow some next time, you might have a stronger party. This is why we’re done with y’all. I dunno, maybe don’t pretend Beyoncé can move the needle along with “la la la I can’t hear you talk about his age” spin. Even Clooney had more backbone. Y’all should put paid ad across the entire episodes. Crooked media? Yup!

Please take the time to enunciate your words so I can understand what you’re saying. You try to speak so fast that you’re garbling some of your words making it a tough listen when you’re on. Otherwise it’s a great show!

Anytime something antisemitic happens in the US I brace myself for the next episode. It is so disheartening, as a liberal, a democrat, a progressive, and a Jew, to feel so unsafe and unwelcome in your conversation. Two young people were shot outside of a Jewish event, and you wasted no time blaming it on Bibi, rather than the terrorists who murdered them. Please stop both-sides-ing antisemitism. I left the 3 star review because I truly value your takes, but I may have to stop listening to protect my mental health.

As a lifelong democrat, it is increasingly difficult to listen to you guys - you seem to be the most disconnected and the most navel gazing - you need to get out of your bubble and see how the Neo-Lib Econ of Milton F and Reaganomics have brought us here - you’re so lost! Maybe have guests that can help you learn more about what Neo-Lib Econ is, why it persists and how it has transferred over $80T from low to high income earners and how we are about to transfer $10T more!

Myopic and self-serving. Not a big picture podcast- at least for the last few years. I listen with an open mind and am left with the conclusion that I’m the only one willing to have an open mind in this listener/podcaster relationship.

Director Regina sounded as gaslighting as Mark Zuckerberg saying that Meta’s platforms have no responsibility for posts. ActBlue clearly is enabling and facilitating the phenomenon of selling your contact info by accepting that “there could be good honest reasons to do so”. Does ActBlue do any real vetting of fundraisers they add to their platform? Do they oversee and expel those who function as scam PACs? Apparently not. Sad.

Ask Blu needs to take more steps because I’ve stopped using it. I need to know quickly, whether a pac is legit or a scam. I want the ability to opt in to have my personal identifying information sold

Easy answer. On balance, people don’t like being 1) bullied or 2) shamed into giving money to candidates who cannot, for all the money and expert political advising in the universe, devise a winning strategy. Also, who wants to support the “progressive” war mongers who so proudly enable “Israel’s” slaughter of Palestinians? Not another dime.

This podcast does a great job of keeping everyone informed, i love the banter and their knowledge and personalities are fantastic! This is my favorite political podcast to listen to!

I’ve been surprised by their coverage of the Palestine/ Hamas and Israel conflict. It’s not particularly balanced or informative and unconditionally supports the Palestinian viewpoint without critique or recognition of how embedded Hamas is in Gaza. They down play anti Semitism in the protest movement and regard Israel as an extreme right reaction rather than defending its borders post incident of 9/11 scale. Their takes on Joe Biden are also derogatory and demeaning, and similarly lack nuance.

I love Pod Save America. The hosts are entertaining and very knowledgeable about the topics they discuss. Pod Save America & Pod Save the World are two podcasts I can reliably listen to, without screaming or destroying something, whenever President Donald Trump is talked about. I would rate this podcast 1 billion stars out of five, if I could.

I’m a subscriber to Crooked media and normally love the podcasts but the coverage of Biden over the last year and even the last several episodes of PSA has been really alienating. It kind of seems like you guys really dislike Biden for some reason and don’t seem to understand why he appeals to voters. Makes me wonder if this level of disdain for Biden was present during the Obama administration. He beat Trump in 2016 for a reason, Southern Democrats love him for a reason. Check your bias

I appreciate the breakdown that they bring to current events happening in our country. They do a nice blend of telling it like it is with all the bad but make sure to include positives that help inspire.

I listened to every episode during the first Trump administration, I thought this show and Crooked Media were a net positive for the political discourse and the country at large. I do not feel this way any longer. US citizens are getting deported for not being white, pro Palestine protesters are being arrested and sent away by officers dressed in plain clothes, and Pod Save America is talking about Trump’s poll numbers. Crooked Media is, like the politicians it advocates for, completely failing to meet the moment. The ideology, the principles this show operates on did not prevent Trump 2, and it won’t save us from him either. There’s no point in listening, donating to, or volunteering for anything associated with this company.

My wife and I LOVE this podcast. We listen religiously and talk about so much. Jon , John, Tommy and Dan are so great at explaining and giving a perspective I never thought about. Interesting and entertaining

Listening to these dorks fumble the concept of Ordo Amoris, a concept laid out first by Augustine and then by Thomas Aquinas, who is a pillar of current Catholic teaching, was super cringe. Calling it a straw-man doesn’t even fit because you were just blatantly ignorant. Well done, bros.

I’ve read reviews saying this podcast is unbiased….maybe people need to look up what that words means. This is a one side view of the news. Plenty of ‘pot calling the kettle black’ in every podcast. It’s a place for these hosts to freak out, as they are no longer in control at the White House. Keep freaking out….it keeps me centered as to all the issues the left leaning news brings that are blown way out of proportion.

I was on the fence about this podcast but now I’ve decided. Regarding the January 9 episode, “can I get away with saying that”? Nope, no you can’t, not with me. Update May 2025 I started listening again despite thinking it was just “meh” much of the time. But today’s remark about Ashley Babbitt lost me. I understand the point you were trying to make, but it failed badly.

This is my go-to podcast to stay informed in these difficult times. It’s informative while still being funny. This is the independent and reliable news media worth listening to and supporting.
