You can technically get paid to manage social and media accounts for businesses. These types of Social Media Jobs can include such tasks as creating and running twitter, Pinterest and facebook campaigns for a business, that’s the simplest form of work that may be required. You may be asked to design and program websites, track social media campaigns, work on youtube video promotions. Rachel shows you nothing but the truth-her podcast is going to get you employed in these areas of expertise, if you take her advice and implement.

Rachel Pedersen really is the QUEEN of social media! This podcast is my favorite!!!

To be transparent, I’m a huge fan of Rachel, so I’m not a hard sell. But there are a couple of things I love about this podcast: 1. Rachel is real. I’ve heard tears. That’s pretty vulnerable. 2. It feels like she’s talking directly to me. It feels like she was going about life and thought of something she wanted to tell me. And they’re short - perfect for my drive to work. 3. Many podcasts are highly polished and produced, which is great for them, but I actually love that I can hear Rachel’s turn signal or her kids on the recording. It makes podcasting seem a lot more accessible as a medium. 4. Rachel knows her stuff. Every podcast has fantastic ideas, tricks, warnings, or feedback. Every one is actionable. Love Rachel and love her podcast! #smucrew!

I’m not sure how I even happened upon Rachel and SMU (probably one of her carefully placed FB ads), but I subscribed for 7 days and have never looked back. Of all the people I’ve followed and signed up with to learn Social Media, Rachel has been the only one to actually give STRATEGY time and time again. I’m just trying to follow in her footsteps. ❤️. I just listened to Podcast number three, an interview with entrepreneur Gallant Dill, and I'm now subscribed to this podcast. Succinctly (sort of), the best nugget from this interview was Gallant talking about the sacrifices he had to make to get where he is at. He mentions things like not going out all the time and not binging on netflix. Think about that. If you binge watch a whole series of something, probably around 150 episodes, that's 150 hours you could be investing in yourself and your business. If you watch for two hours every night, that's over 700 hours per year that have proffitted you nothing. I have less hours like that in a Bachelor's degree. Gallant is not advocating a life of robotic stoicism, you can tell from listening to him that he enjoys every minute of what he is doing, but he really puts things in persepctive and makes you think about passing up little things now so you can have big things later. We are the decisions we make. My dad taught me the same thing and I am seeing it more and more validated in every aspect of life. Now you have a high school drop out turned multi-millionaire saying you're going to need to cut some things out to get where you want to be. Most people aren't willing and the struggle is real. That's why guys like Gallant stand out though, they've done it. It's like 8 time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman said, "Everybody wants to be a bodybuilder, but nobody wants to lift this heavy weight...I'll do it." If you're reading this review, you know that's the kind of stuff you need to hear. Rachel is a great host too. Her questions are engaging, tactful, and prudent. She asked questions that she knows we need the answers to. Plus, she has a nice voice, which is always a plus when you're listening to anything. If this is what I can expect from this podcast I can definitely see myself listening in the future. I'm already subscribed.
