    Kind of an Idiot
Listened to the episode on Guest Playing. He says he will debate any Coach. So I texted him and left a message for him to call me, that I really disagreed with what he said. He calls back and within the first 2 minutes of learning that he was wrong on this and that, he says “Hey, I don’t want a debate!” Lol. He had made the very amateurish mistake of over-generalizing and really is a kind of an idiot. I would not take advice from this guy. Run the other way.

    Must listen
Wow! Paul message to Dads (and Moms) is strong. One of a kind podcast that combines youth baseball with family/faith/foundation. Must listen for any Dad “trying his best” to help his Son (or Daughter).

    Keeps me in check.
I love listening to Paul and his guests. What they’re saying isn’t earth shattering, it’s just good old common sense. But as a dad who was a coach before I was a dad, I’ve had he internal struggles and don’t want to push my boy too hard too fast. He loves the game now and gravitated to it on his own, at an early age. Listening to Paul always reminds me to stay humble, stay grounded, remember this is for my son, not me! I love it so much I’ve recommended it to all the parents of my sons team and even some past parents.

Great Information, Wish I Had Found It Sooner
This podcast is something any parent with a young athlete whether they play baseball or not, should listen to. Paul Reddick does a great job of cutting through all of the garbage that is out there in the world of youth sports and gives parents ideas and advice that actually makes sense. I highly recommend you add this to your library.

    Almost a Must
I will be sharing this with my son's Rec and Travel teams. There is something in this interview that every parent and coach should make sure they hear at least once !! (If not at the beginning of every season)

    Priceless Education
Learning ways that you can help your son become a better ball player is priceless. These podcasts have helped me understand that I don't have to "criticize" my son to help him become better. All I have to do is be there. Let someone else coach him. I just have be there to support him and of course cheer loud when he does well, forget when he doesn't. The information in these podcasts is priceless.

    Pick up game mindset
Paul, very interesting talk with John Ney..........I am 65 but i grew up on the concrete school yards of Brooklyn.......There were no such thing a far as i know of a travel team...Ha..........I had no one to guide me in playing ball.....I just watched and copy and pasted........I did my best to act as if i was one of the best kids in the school yard......If a kid wants to enjoy baseball he needs a quality coach.....Too many kids give up because of looking bad and being called out as a klutz..........No kid wanted to be picked last.....I still consider myself to be an athlete and the high point of my baseball life was being a bench player and when i say bench player i mean only being used for intersquad games in the early 70's at Stony Brook under Rick Smoliak................Love listening to conversations from coaches and how they transform lives.......Thanks.......Larry

Best Out There - Hands Down
I love that this podcast is ground breaking baseball instruction taught in a simplistic way, from the perspective of an actual father. You can tell Paul is no BS and doesn't just come at it from a baseball perspective, but also from a father's point of view. Its perfect to listen to to and from work. Paul - thanks for all you do, keep em coming!

Perfect for Fathers with kids that play
This is a great podcast from a man that know a lot about coaching the sport and how to make your young player a better athlete. The greatest part about this cast is that its from REAL fathers with REAL problems that are solved. Every father pretty much has the same questions and the same problamatic issues that need to be solved. So to hear it from them is a perfect resolution. Thank you Baseball dads!

    The Perfect Pitch
What a great kick off to the Baseball Dads podcast. Gene's insights really hit home for me. Paul, you set the tone for an engaging discussion all dads can relate to and benefit from. Thanks for boldly stepping up the plate to deliver this forum. When it comes to building relationships with our sons around baseball, it's helpful to profit from the experience of other dads. Great First Start!
I can't thank you enough on how you have done a great job with the standard instruction dealing with the mechanics of the game. You've exceeded my expectations by now addressing a more powerful and meaningful look into the relationship with a parent of their baseball player. This is a great start to what I think will impact my sons game tremendously but more importantly our relationship for the rest of our lives! Thanks again!
