Randy and T.C. are great. Especially enjoy their discussions of women players and their tours, along with the Solheim Cup. In this pod, the all-encompassing conversations covering everything from food to travel are equally entertaining and informative. Ticks all the boxes. Please, guys — consider video broadcasting your own channel from tournaments as alt-coverage. We need you to upend the Hamsterdam scene. Even if the way forward started with satellite tours and amateur events, I’m confident you’d get it right for both the vested interests and the fans. Between the NFL Owners Series Pod, The Booth, Chop Sessions, and now Random Year Deep Dives no one out there is doing it any better. Incredibly creative ideas that work every time. I saw the pod notification drop for the 1923 episode and couldn’t wait to listen, of course a great balance of entertaining and informative content. Keep up the good work guys!

Can’t get enough of the chop sessions. Absolutely hate all the strays that your would-be conservative fans catch on random stuff. Like I’m trying to be a fan, but dude leave me alone. Also, Did DJ really call Jordan Peterson a “faux-intellectual” in the episode about Succession? Lol Intellectuals from all over the world - left right and center - have applauded Peterson’s work. Sheldon White, former Chairman of Harvard’s Psych Dept. called his work a “brilliant enlargement of our understanding of human motivation.” He’s been critically acclaimed at the highest levels of academia all over the world including Harvard, Oxford, and Yale. (Sorry no Columbia Neil. Do better. Be better). I have serious doubts that anyone calling Jordan Peterson a “faux” intellectual has actually read any of his books? Maybe I’m wrong, but rather than take shots on cultural topics, have some courage. Read his work before you slam him. I bet DJ specifically would love his books if he gave them a chance. I gave this podcast 5 stars because you guys are hilarious, intelligent, and a huge load off at the end of the day. All the work NLU does is first class, and you guys are clearly the leaders in your industry. You can have me thinking hard about the an issue and in stitches all at the same time. But for the love of God, please let conservatives be fans of your content - stop poking at people whose perspectives you clearly don’t fully understand. Your content could be so unifying if you would just not take cheap shots and run. There’s 50 mil. + of us our here - we’re not all dumb racist sexist bigot rednecks. Not all of us are MAGA Republicans who worship at the altar of Tucker Carlson and Dan Bongino. Some of us are just tired of listening to people talk about how evil you are if you don’t support the laundry list of left-wing solutions to social issues in the world. Either you believe you truly know everything and the rest of the world are morons, or you exercise some humility and say “maybe I don’t know everything about everything.” Surely you guys are smart enough to know which one of those is the right take in life.

The trap draw is a great way to stay informed on current events (corporate malfeasance, grocery store wars, professional sports commentary, people who should be in jail but aren’t, and other things of that nature)

Tron and Randy are genuinely hilarious. I could listen to them talk about literally anything and laugh. Neil and Cody also getting their own show is awesome. All around just a great group of intelligent people that have a great sense of humor.

I listened to our heroes eviscerate the Kansas City airport while waiting for a delayed flight in the Kansas City airport. Sometimes life gives you a moment. Great show.

I am not a review writer even though I listen to a lot of pods, read quite a few books…but I just listened to a Trap Draw Big Randy did with Stephen Proctor about his recent book. I am a Club Golf Professional, have been been for over 30 years and consider myself a true lover of the game. I must say that I greatly enjoy so much of the things the NLU guys do because they go to places, and talk to people that stir your gut…really bring you back to why I love the game so so much! I am going to immediately get the Proctor book! Even I wasn’t aware just how good the Scottish and English players were at the start of the 20th century….can’t wait to read it! Well done BR!

Love this podcast! One of my favorite listens every week. Since you guys are fans of The Wire, it would be awesome to get a Perfect Club episode someday on We Own This City.

Always fun listening to the grocery store talk. TC is great. Would be 5 stars but Big Randy’s continued support for the genocide of the Uighurs by the Chinese is a bit much. Not sure why Randy continues to be pro-genocide but that’s his prerogative

Really fun and intriguing deep dives into local flavor, special interest stories, and the ever-concerning choke points from the No Laying Up boys. Probably a good idea to get into the main NLU podcast first to get acquainted with Big Randy’s and TC’s schticks. “Trap Draw” is fun and delightfully informative. Thanks for the great work, Big & Tron! H-E-B rules.

Honestly, I now enjoy this pod better than the main No Laying Up pod. If you are a new listener, start with NLU or some of their YouTube series. Once you get to know the cast of characters and some of the inside baseball, we’ll see you here.

Enjoyed episode of macro level of business monopolies and who they are today! Historical monopolies of the 1980’s do not fit in the same mold of the representatives of today Facebook (Meta), Google, Amazon , Apple, etc. China’s influence on some of theses companies has made them rich. Discussion on Politics,Crypto are well worth the listen. Not boring listen!! Thanks for the different fresh topic, do love Golf!

The Maine episode was the worst excuse for a golf podcast ever. There is more discussion of grocery stores than golf courses. No discussion of Maine golf at all, no discussion of Falmouth Country Club, which is the location of this week’s Korn Ferry Tournament. The guys clearly mailed this one in. The guest grew up in Maine but probably never played golf in Maine. Last Trap Draw podcast that I’ll waste my time on.

Love tc and Randall but randy shoves the LPGA down the listeners throats. Once in a while sure but I feel like every other week he gets on a soapbox to talk about how the lpga is amazing and they’re unfairly treated. It sounds so forced

I’m one of the few to hail from Sarasota/Bradenton area and live in Neptune Beach currently so nonetheless I’m a long-time fan and was excited to hear my hometown highlighted in Episode 120. Major letdown to get Season 2 of the Wire. 4 stars though for the overall body of work.

Because it is informative and entertaining done by real people.
