    Love it!
Listening since episode one. I Love Adnan and I will definitely miss Chris Cote! I love this show. I have since the beginning and I’ve never missed an episode!🍁🍁🍁🍁

As Judy Garland sang. I’m just wild about Harry
Did not hear the reasons Chris left. He is a nice person but in the wrong role. It would be like me, a huge sports fan having to do a podcast on a sport I do not follow, like hockey. The fact that Harry wanted to see Crash tells me all I need to know about his movie curiosity and interest. I saw that years ago. As a forensic psychologist who deals with aberrant behavior on a daily basis, this paraphilia is an interesting one. Love Harry and I hope he can reach the level of Stanzik. Maybe he will and the show will be better for it. I recommend you both watch and review two movies. Wag the Dog and The Prestige. By the way, I just returned from Sicily and went to where they filmed a few scenes of Godfather 1. The Church where he married Apolonia and the Bar Vitelli. Take care and congrats on the Emmy.

    Great addition to the show
This is one podcast that I listen to weekly. Thank you for your honest reviews and insight into being an avid movie lover. As entertaining as Cody was, I believe Harry is a great upgrade and new upside to the podcast. His insight is great as another big movie guy. And him seeing films Adnan hasn’t and the discovery of new films is excellent. Please keep Harry around for the long haul. He is fantastic.

    Harry
Such an upgrade with a producer who knows movies. Who knew a movie podcast should have somebody who actually watches movies??? Crazy.

Love this show. One of THE best on Meadowlark. Keep it up, Captain.

    The return of Rags
I first got into the podcast when I heard Scott Rogowsky talking about The Verdict plus a eulogy of Ned Beatty. Hurt myself with laughter. I like Cote on the main LeBatard show but he’s an albatross here with his next to no film knowledge. Love that Adnan reviews old movies too as I’m a big TCM fan. Double Indemnity episode was great. Got me to go back and rewatch.

    Great Interviews & Reviews
Not only does Adnan have an incredible competence to review films, he is also one of greatest interviewers out there. Leaving this review after the Barry Sonnenfeld episode, Adnan’s pointed questions led to some great stories (Danny DeVito at the urinal). A compilation of past interviews would make a great series of episodes!

    It’s fine but
I appreciate he sees all kinds of movies but the Scorsese obsession gets real old real fast. The Tom cruise hate is also borderline weird-I understand why, Hollywood is full of sleeze and all kinds of skeletons in closets-just review the movies

Used to be great. Now I can’t listen.
Used to love this show. When Joe was the co host. Now Chris Cote is a part of the show and he is unbearable. His production is poor, he is not funny, witty, or clever. And worst of all, Chris Cote knows nothing about movies. Why is he part of the show? Adnan is great, always will be. Get rid of Chris and I’m back on board.

    Mr Deeds greater then Waterboy
After hearing Adnan’s take on the lebatard show that Mr. Deeds is better then The Waterboy tells me everything i need to know. Mr Deeds is terrible. The Waterboy is a Classic. Sampson has all the reasons in the world to be mad about Adnan being allowed to be a movie critic.

Huge blind spot for female stories
I’m a big cinefile, and I thought this might be a good podcast to geek out to. I listened to a few episodes and can’t listen to any more. Both of these guys have a real lack of understanding of female characters and make zero effort to understand their experience. It’s not a male thing it’s specifically these guys. The take seems always male centered with undertones of easily bruised masculinity. We know this is how Hollywood traditionally has been but it’s tired. As a reviewer, missing 50% of human stories does not make you a good authority on the success, relevancy or poignancy of film.

More Adnan and Samson!! Couple of movie buffs cutting it up!!

    Fantastic movie podcast
Adnan’s podcast is great and he asks solid questions to his guests. It shows the passion he has for movies. Plus as a listener I appreciate the amount of research he puts in for each episode and guest.

    The Killer on Netflix
Love the show and keep up the good work! I bet it’s probably on your list, but please give your review on The Killer! I thought it was amazing and would love your take…

    Top quality movie pod.
Superb knowledge from Adnan and the everyman balance from Chris makes this pod well worth the listen for anyone that likes cinema!
  • Violin Mustard
    Samson is right
Adnan is like an Ai simulator of every movie review on the internet. Plus he speaks so fast I have to listen at .5 speed. And Cote is the complete opposite. So it works.

    Salacious & Scorsese
Scott Spinelli put it best when he said, “leave it to you to find the three most salacious lines in a 350 page book.” It happens far too often in Adnan’s review of movies and when talking to authors that the filthier parts get the most shine. I wish it came across as funny, but honestly, when it happens it’s creepy…it gives me Marv Albert back-biter vibes. And listen, we get it…Adnan loves Scorsese. If you’re a fan, great…you’ll enjoy the podcast. But it really feels like he brings him up every episode. With Killers of the Flower Moon on the horizon, it will literally be a topic every week until the premier and then through award season. Simply unbearable. I was a fan from way back and I wish I could say I enjoy this pod, but I simply don’t anymore. 🍁

    Favorite Texts
Chris should set his favorite text conversations in the iPhone Messages app. You can choose up to 9 conversations that are pinned to the top so he can always see them.

    Adnan > Samson
Please continue to berate Samson for his impossibly bad opinions. It brings light into this world of darkness.

    Stop Reviewing Marvel
Really enjoy the show except for this one little thing. We know Adnan is in the bag for Marty S. So he is naturally a Marvel hater. A blanket “I hate all marvel is fine”, we don’t need his tired marvel reviews for every one that comes out. It’s not funny and his opinion about marvel is as necessary as a poopy flavored lollipop.
  • Miauuuu5_7
Adnan isn’t who he think he is
Awful movie takes from adnan bro thinks he’s this movie guru unfortunately he isn’t as for Chris cote love him on lebatard but he doesn’t even watch the movies they review 😂 skip this pod
  • Hellohogo
Somehow this is the worst film podcast on Meadowlark
What started out as a quirky, rapid fire show about the nuance of film, has quickly devolved into a self absorbed stale podcast. It’s devoid of any authentic emotion and comes across hollow and superficial. If I wanted to hear unlimited factoids about every movie, I’d just go read the wiki page. How is it that Cinephobe very regularly gives us higher quality editorial over a so called expert?

    The Best Film podcast
This is the best film podcast out there. Adnan has an amazing ability to pack so much knowledge into every review and every segment. Always an great listen! Could use 20% less Cote

    Adnan’s Life Gripes
I absolutely cannot get enough of Mr. Virks’ retelling of his everyday life encounters. The Eagles hat, the dent in the his Porsche, the price of going to the movies, and any vacation he takes with the family. Love the movie reviews also but man the real life stuff is fantastically fascinating!

Great commentary. Opinions are well researched. Love chemistry between Adnan and Chris. Kudos to Adnan, always responsive on social especially when it comes to cinema. Excited for the next couple weeks.

    A joy
I rarely leave reviews, shame on me, but I know this helps keep the show alive so I’m happy to do my part. Great show.

Love the pod. I don’t always agree with your takes, but it’s always an enjoyable listen. You mentioned Mark Rylance for Bones and All, but I thought his performance in The Outfit was a true master class in acting. Would love to hear your thoughts on the pod.

    What happened?!
Used to love this podcast until it joined this network. The cohost doesn’t watch any of the movies, so he has little to say back to Adnan. Adnan also used to introduce me to new niche movies. Now it’s reruns of movies everyone has already seen.
  • Cmvsal
So this isn’t a movie review
It’s just adnan going on about different topics while barely talking about the movie in the episode title. Very disappointing
  • awn58
    Automat
You clearly did not watch The Automat, throughout the film they explained how they kept the food fresh. Why not just say you watched the trailer and leave it at that b
