I am a second year lawyer. I have been listening for only one week, and this podcast has taught me so much and pointed me to so many new resources.

Mr Paparelli stated an incorrect premise about the AAO having exparte communications with the service centers. What evidence did he present? None. They are not allowed to communicate about cases that even might come before the AAO. You should correct the record in your next episode.

Working for University Legal Assistance my first summer in law school and this podcast has been a great way to get an insider’s perspective on what immigration practice is like. One thing I really enjoy about the podcast is how current policy changes and court decisions are covered in a way that helps contextualize what the changes mean for practitioners and clients. The variety and quality of guests really provides the podcast with dynamic conversations and you can hear John Khosrovi’s interest in and passion for the topics he discusses with his guests. It makes the podcast engaging, educational, and entertaining— while a lot of other immigration podcasts can come across as either stale/boring or overly-partisan. The 10 Questions format also gives the programs a good rhythm/flow and makes them easy listening on a drive or over lunch! Highly recommend adding this podcast to your library if you are studying immigration law.

Having listened to many podcasts on immigration law, this one is actually informative and not just a platform for opinions, which is the case for most immigration podcasts. John keeps up to date with specific memos released by DHS/ICE and offers experiences concerning certain applications etc., without editorializing too much. This is a very good podcast to keep yourself educated on immigration law.

John is easy to listen to and stays up to date with the latest changes and news in US immigration. While it’s always good to read the regs and memos yourself, it’s very helpful how he clearly explains the law, its effects, and the special considerations. I’ve been listening for over a year and you begin to feel like you know him!

Listeners will learn a lot. Also, I am a newer immigration practitioner, and he's been more responsive to my questions than members of my own state bar association's immigration section.

Very nice combination of professional generosity, legal candor, and human compassion, all mixed with a lot of useful legal information. Much detail about the kinds of processing procedures that might go wrong, but always layered with reminders about how the more fundamental principles of immigration law should be served.
