I’ve listened to the podcast since inception and LOVE Lauryn and her products. I’m giving this feedback with utmost respect because I love the podcast and the content, but Michael, please stop making everything about you. I know people do that as a form of connecting with others, but it’s so distracting. Other than that, love you guys!

Ugh I used to love this show so much! Seems like now they’re running out of things to talk about. Every episode somehow contains weightlifting, eating meat, etc. like we get it. So sad because it really used to be a good show! Now I can’t even listen

I enjoyed this show a lot more a few years ago. While it is filled with useful tips and tricks, I miss how they use to have a lot of redemption stories, stories about real people (not just celebs) who overcame incredible obstacles or disadvantages to get where they are. Even if that is just a regular person. More relatable, humble shows mixed with the popular trendy stuff . I miss the balance

I really enjoyed the episode with Madison, but Lauren is so incredibly rude and dismissive of her husband that it’s actually painful to listen to, I can’t believe how he doesn’t fire back at her. I’m turned off by the dynamic of the two hosts. You can tell she has no respect for him, and she actually seems annoyed that he is there.

I decided to start listening to one podcast a day in January this year and I have learned SO much listening to Lauryn and Michael. I love the wide range of guests they have on the show and can’t wait to listen to more episodes next year.

I love Madison but this latest episode w/her was BLAH. She wasn’t talkative enough… I feel like Lauren was pulling the answers out of her and doing most of the talking.

Whenever I get overwhelmed or need permission to say how I really feel I tune in! I also love the solos and get so freaking inspired by what they've built! I know what it must take to tune out the noise and focus on your big vision and I'm so happy they show up so big and keep pushing as an example of what we can do.

Tried listening to the Gerry curatola episode because he is very interesting. Wanted to hear what he had to say, but the girl host ruins it with her annoying interruptions. Just let the guests talk

This show used to be great and now it’s insufferable. As soon as they moved to Texas it started to go downhill. They’re out of touch and act like privileged white people with no sense of reality.

I love Lauren and her beauty/wellness questions at the end!

I’ve been a listener for years, although have not listened much this year. I previously listened because the guests are really interesting but the hosts are absolutely terrible. Michael is an out of touch, middle-aged white dude. And Lauryn is one of the most ignorant human beings I’ve ever heard. She’s constantly making penis strokes and interrupting guess and she’s just absolutely out of control. Nothing is interesting about her. At this point, the guests aren’t even that interesting so I’m finally making the leap to unsubscribe. Dig through old episodes if you want interesting people, but these hosts have just continued to get worse over the it’s really too bad that they have so many good podcast under their dear media franchise and they’ll keep profiting even though they are terrible

They have devolved to only having guests that promote their chosen narrative- increasing ignorance

Annoying podcasters, no interview techniques, not very educated.

I used to listen to this show religiously, but Michael got insufferable and with them being Trumpers.. just big yikes. Done with all Dear Media.

After i learned that Lauryn and Michael own Dear Media i immediately unsubscibed from all Dear Media pods. These 2 promote false information and make money off it. Some of the worst people in the podcast industry and thats saying a lot. I hope more people follow Molly Sims’ path and quit Dear Media.

Can y’all stop talking over each other and let the guest speak? I was listening to the one with Morgan Zanotti and it was honestly unbearable hearing the hosts interrupting her and each other. Would rate negative stars on that podcast episode

It would be so great if the hosts could let the guests finish what they’re saying instead of taking the opportunity to cut them off just to throw in the same irrelevant comments to bring it back to themselves constantly (we get it.. you guys just banter not argue, have known each other since you were 12, Lauryn’s attempt at poorly timed dirty jokes are still stuck at that 12yr old level, and Michael’s a QUARTER Japanese and always thinks he’s gonna “get in trouble”). You don’t always have to take the opportunity to address these critiques on air, just stop doing it and let your guests and their stories and knowledge have the floor. I’ve been listening since they were recording in their dining room, and will continue to because I absolutely love the guests they bring, but the incessant interruptions and cringey jokes has really made it frustrating to get through.

Doesn’t know who Netenyahu is. Turned off Bill Maher’s show immediately I could care one iota what this dimwit and her simp “think” about.

Lauren’s lack of research & know it all approach is painful to listen to. Lauren should take the back seat on all interviews and Michael needs to take the lead moving forward…

The individuals they interview are really cool and I was recommended the podcast by Alex Clark at Culture Apothocary, but they unnecessarily throw out many f-bombs which are really off-putting and the two hosts interrupt and talk over each other a lot which is annoying to listen to. I’m sure it doesn’t bother many other people, but unfortunately it’s just not my style.

I love this podcast. First of all the wife husband combo cracks me up but also helps give a mans perspective. What I really love is how Lauren shares everything I have listened to podcasts where u can tell they are only sharing sponsored items. Lauren legitimately tells you her meal plans, life styles, skin routines, and workouts for free! I have tried several things she’s recommended not one item was not worth it. Thanks Lauren I really love this podcast and it’s helped me a ton I love my gigi crackers and Cali’flour pizzas!

You just lost all credibility by entertaining Alex Clark. The fact that she started by giggling like a 10 year old because she met Trump and told him to “keep talking about big food” is a joke. Have you seen him? We’re you here for his 4 yrs in office? This is dangerous! You just lost a listener.

LOVED DR. SHANNON!!! So knowledgeable and amazing at translating her information to be digestible. I have listened to Lauryn and Michael since 2016 and I still tune in every single week. The amount of work their whole team puts into creating 3 incredibly interesting, well edited and produced and entertaining conversations with such a wide variety of guests is crazy. Thank you for your commitment to your craft and your listeners! 🩷 also dead at the josh peck episode and the meat bowl of it all.

I think the podcast used to be better. Most of the guests are just pushing a product so it seems too salesy now

This is one of the most interesting interviews I’ve ever listened to! Alex is so open minded, yet constant and confident in the way she holds to her beliefs. The way she communicates is so refreshing!

The Alex Clark episode was absolutely whack. Radical Christian Conservatives are absolutely batsh*t crazy. I’m obsessed with this podcast but hated that episode. Obviously, I love that they have people from all different walks of life on to give different perspectives. Just my opinion on that episode. Everything else Lauryn and Michael do i love love love!!!!

They have interesting guests on but I’ve been enjoying their solo episodes more lately

The wet blankets in the comments are so boring. This was such a unique episode and extremely interesting. She loved T Swift but wants to homeschool her kids and loves Trump. Into fashion but drinks raw milk. Busting every assumption and stereotype on conservatives. I learned modern conservatives are more nuanced and layered than we would think. Upbeat, juicy, and feel good episode!

So good, I hadn’t listened in awhile but when I saw Alex was coming on I had to listen. I appreciate this kind of conversation and how it’s not all one sided but rather just good conversation!

The negative reviews here are based on political views rather than the quality of this podcast. This podcast is very professional and well done. I’ve been listening for years. Of course there are POV I disagree with, and I love that for me. This is a well rounded experience - give it a try if you haven’t yet!

I can’t listen to this show anymore. These two are so tone deaf and shill products on the show constantly. What started as an interesting podcast as evolved into two narcissists that love listening to themselves tell us all how to be. They lack any kind of “realness” that used to be appealing and advertise products they would NEVER use on the show. Greed has changed the show and I will be unfollowing.

I’ve been a listener from day 1 and will always be my favorite go to pod! From the product recommendations to the amazing interviews and people they bring on from all perspectives- I keep coming back craving more. Thank y’all so much for all you put into this podcast and all that I’ve gotten out of every episode! 10/10

Alex Clark is a lunatic. Spewing dangerous propaganda. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Some episodes are super insightful with intelligent, well informed guests who are respected in their field. Others are a joke with conspiracy theorists who peddle dangerous and inaccurate information. A mixed bag, but overall the show lacks accountability for the size of its platform. More research should be done before giving anyone a mic to spew their often totally unhinged opinions. They spin it as “showing all sides of whatever” but it’s become a stage for lots of people who really don’t deserve one. Also the ads are super long. Like 5-6 minutes every 20 minutes long.

I thought you were both incredibly skilled at moderating the content from Alex Clark. Her ideas and opinions were extreme at times, but I thought you did a great job putting things into perspective, not taking sides, and presenting alternate views.

Who is Alex and how does she have so many advanced degrees in public health AND education AND big pharma? Quite impressive! GOALZZZZ

I used to love following Lauren and the Skinny Confidential as she was always honest and giving hot takes on everything from pop culture to beauty products. Now every episode seems to focus on extremist positions so they can get some sort of shock value out of it and get more clicks and comments.

Michael and Lauryn are FOOLS and their conservative ideology is dangerous and moronic.

Used to love this show. But they are bringing on “experts” that have shockingly limited experience and expertise. I have listened as episodes unironically run headfirst into promoting conspiracy theories (on both sides) while simultaneously hawking so many of the products and services that are part and parcel of those same systems, ingredients, and issues. I miss the days when this show shared helpful information and conversations with real subject matter experts instead of clinging to big, extreme media personalities to create an unhinged, rich people gospel. Unfollow as irrelevant.

Latest blog - Alex Clark - she said “ Ivy League schools aren’t looking at public school kids” in her commentary/ rant on homeschooling. Comments like this make her Uncredible - she sounds unintelligent on the issue of education. Also, this taints the rest of the episode and makes me question this podcast, which I do listen to regularly, which is why I didn’t give it a star. I live in New England and I can assure you that kids in MA and CT who attend top public school go to Ivy League. Just pull the stats. Not hard to verify the actual truth. Please choose guests with a broader perspective than speaking in black and white extremes. She sounds crazy and again, these are important conversations that require discourse steeped in facts not uneducated opinions / rants. Your guest speakers matter.

I almost turned todays podcast off when Alex was spewing about gay frogs…but Michael you were so articulate in your response to her…I agreed with everything you said…eventually I had to turn her off though. I do believe there are a lot of truths behind some of what she says but she’s also spreading many things that are untrue in her extremist beliefs. It’s a shame. I’m open to learning about some of these topics but get so turned off by how people like Alex present them.

Ew you lost me at Trump. Zero stars.

The authenticity is fkin amazing! I love listening to a podcast that is relatable and REAL and you guys are exactly that. “I want to be felt up before getting FKED for the day!” GIRRLLLL! You give your audience really valuable information that is Jam Packed with facts and fun! Thank you both for being so raw and fun, but for also providing us with insight into so many of life’s questions.

The privilege on display is overwhelming. It’s unrelatable information for the most part and off putting. Listening to Lauryn’s “life changing” hacks is kind of laughable because many of those are items you sell. It just doesn’t feel genuine.
