Aside from being useful for business development, the stories are heart warming and give me a sense that solar is more than a industry but it also a community of people trying to make a positive difference in the world. BCCHow did I not know about this podcast? This is the perfect podcast for “solar warriors” (Nico’s term) / “solar nerds” (my term). I have only started to scratch the surface of the back catalog, but each episode has been incredibly insightful. I am learning a lot about how the solar industry operates, and the players that have built (and are still building) it. This podcast is a must-listen for anyone with even a passing interest in the industry!

PK RollinA Master Class of Class for the Solar IndustryHey all, I just learned how to leave a review and this is long overdue… I started in the solar industry in 2006, but was a casualty of the solar coaster employment cycle, in 2011. Unfortunately, I spent the next decade in and out of energy development. During my developmental days and in the periods between, I found SunCast a breath of fresh air. There are few places one can go in this over hyped and media driven world where the conversation is always positive, clean, engaging and informative. Even rarer still, does one find the curious authenticity that Nico brings to the table every episode and with each guest. It’s a master class of class weekly, as his knowledge spans the ever growing universe of solar, while he stays humble and appreciative of anyone that is willing to help create positive change. The reality, is that this change will take everyone, and all are welcome within this conversation. Please join and share these conversations with your friends, family, colleagues and influencers. Thank you Nico!

LuisAMLTimely, insightful, very useful -- Kudos!!Below is my initial review of Suncast — over 5 years ago (!). And over that time, the show has just gotten better: Nico presents an optimistic, yet practical view of the solar industry from the point of view of the entrepreneurs and “doers” in the renewable energy industry worldwide: their vision, their challenges, their struggles, and their triumphs! If you are in the renewable energy industry — or even if you just want a weekly dose of inspiration and optimism drawn from some of the best minds in the space, this is the pod for you ——— Suncast provides an extremely valuable and timely tool for anyone developing projects in Latin America, or simply curious about what the whole "Latin América Solar Boom” is all about. Solar professionals, manufacturers, equipment suppliers and EPCs operating in the region all get something out of it. From tid-bits on how to be a more effective sales person, to tips on what developers are really looking for in a solar project – it’s all here, in a fun, practical format that doesn’t require reviewing pages and pages of charts and online contents. Even though the podcast is new (only three episodes as of this writing), the host (Nico) has no difficulty gaining access to veterans of the solar industry in Latin America – well-known equipment suppliers, top-notch analysts, and experienced developers. The episodes come across polished, well thought-out, focused, and filled with relevant contents. I look forward to tuning in periodically. Kudos to Nico for launching this valuable initiative.
