Andrew and Ben, Love the way you guys cover the Vikings but you ruin the show when TANK comes on. Hate to see it. Hope you keep it to a minimum. We don’t want to follow his advise. Example, he says TJ is not a game changing player the 10 min. Later, he says TJ is a top 5 tight end. He may know a lot of numbers but he is not a good reporter and a very bad analyst.

They do seem to have good sources. Their own insight leaves a lot to be desired.

I like to listen to you guys. Your angle is getting a little SKORNorth-like though. Always being a bit contrarian about the success they are having. I understand you have to be realistic, but it’s pretty much every week you guys are on a “yeah they are winning, but….” Narrative. I’ll have to stop listening if this continues constantly.

I hope you guys read your reviews. This is a great pod: good content, not too long, just what the average Vikings fan needs to be informed about the team. BUT please please please invest in some better audio equipment! It’s really not that hard! It’s 2022. the Strib should cover the cost for some decent USB mics. Just ask other podcast platforms like the Ringer what they use. This is the easiest way to improve the quality of this pod. Please.

Please, for the love of all that’s holy, pull Rand from this show. Heading him say, “you know” a thousand times in an hour is grating on the ears. Just brutal for a guy who’s supposed to be a professional.

I used to listen to this podcast for Vikings info, but the negativity is exhausting. We get it, you think they should have blown it up. You hate kirk. Soo much talk about kirk’s contract and then when he takes a discount to extend, there is still talk about him being too expensive. You think poorly about all the off season moves. We get it. Maybe a qb with top ten efficiency metrics, td/int ratio, rating, etc wasn’t the problem. Maybe the new coaching staff, training staff and GM could be good. It’s hard to know because all we talk about is how we should have cut and traded everyone and been 3-14 next year If you are a fan of the Vikings, I would steer clear of this podcast

The reporting insights are good, but the analysis is boring and cynical. There is almost no diversity of opinion (or background), and they all seemingly lack the ability to be simultaneously critical and entertaining.

I’ve been a listener for more than 4 seasons and the frequency of podcasts has gone down. I noticed it moved to twice a week in season which isn’t bad but even those seemed shorter than previous years. Now that it’s the off season it’s been once every two weeks. There’s other podcasts I listen to that post daily or every 3 days. I can’t be the only one feeling that you all could be doing more.

Ben and Andrew are the best! Could listen to them all day long. However, please please please no more Jim Souhan. He is unbearable. If I wanted to listen to how much smarter he is than everyone else, I’d just listen to his Talk North podcasts.

I like that Andrew, Ben, and Mike stay neutral and don't get worked up as though they were fans. All have been covering the team for many years and bring up fun stories from years past.

I’ve had several episodes of late that just end in the middle of a sentence. Sometimes it’s just the beginning of the episode, sometimes it’s a little ways in. But for some reason, it does not fully download and when I’ve tried downloading them again, I get the same results. It’s not worth it if it keeps up.

The podcast stops after a couple minutes. Tried addressing it to them awhile back and they don’t seem to care. Yet they still record a podcast???

Something is wrong with these podcasts, they skip to an earlier podcast somewhere in the first few minutes.

Can’t believe any podcast team would let this guy go. Incredibly Insightful and always interesting. One of the best out there. Keep it going!

I’m not sure how to erase my review for Purple Daily. I have no problems with this show. The only problem is that you don’t do enough of them. Cone on, guys. I want my Vikings talk.

Normally a great podcast, but the latest episode was distracting. Whoever had the irritating whistle nose, either move away from the mic or go on mute. I gave you four stars because it’s very informative, but the whistle nose deserved a one!

I really enjoy this podcast. It’s one of the best sources in my opinion for getting insights and good analysis on the Minnesota Vikings. I wish they would post it more often, maybe once a week.

This is the kind of content I would love to be able to pay for a la carte. Would be great if the digital subscription options allowed for voting or filtering what you want to pay for.

I think Ben Goessling has great insight and doses out honesty to us delusional Vikings fans and keeps it real. I like the funny bits not sure why people have an issue with that. I think you guys should integrate more Vikings history somehow.

Great podcast with knowledgeable hosts (whose attempts at humor are nice, but should be avoided...you’re sportswriters, not comedians, guys), but for Pete’s sake, please hire a competent audio engineer and upgrade your mics. It’s not that expensive. Keep up the good work.

Dont know if these actually get read or not, but reaching out about the Podcast. I am an avid listener. Currently living in Northern VA, so need my Vikings fix. But, gotta tell you - the sound volume of your podcast is so much lower then every other podcast I listen to. Riding on the metro I can barely hear you guys sometimes. Don’t know if you’ve heard that before, but thought I’d throw it out there. Keep up the good work. #SKOL

Ben Goessling is terribly unprepared and is more interested in immature inside jokes (that are more irritating than funny) than discussing the Vikings. The Purple podcast is light years better. After that I turn to Climbing the pocket and locked on Vikings before subjecting myself to Goessling... Andrew Kramer and Rand are decent but don’t provide enough and are also not overly prepared/ knowledgeable

Skol Vikings! Informative and good incite. Need to work on the audio though. One guy is really loud and a few I can barely hear with my radio turned all the way up. Thanks!

It’s ok, but I just can’t stand the stupid Brett Favre impersonations and so much unfunny joking around. They should just stick to the football.

This is by far the best Vikings podcast, and I have listened to many of them. These guys are plugged in, have solid takes, and don’t have any hidden agendas. Lose the Brett Favre imitation though... it’s annoying.

This used to be hands down the best Vikings podcast. Now, it’s completely average. Kramer and Rand are fantastic as always. But when Vensel left they brought on Goesseling who honestly doesn’t seem like he takes the podcast seriously at all. He’s a great reporter, don’t get me wrong. But it seems like he’s much more interested in telling stupid jokes as opposed to actually providing solid analysis. It’s very weird because Kramer and Goessling were so good on the podcast they used to do together. But ever since Goesseling came to this show, the quality has gone down significantly.

Fix the audio, I have to crank it to hear some of you talk and one of you is always blaring louder than the others... also no more Bret Favre and stop the sudden endings. Fix those things and I’ll give it 5 Stars. SKOL Vikings

As a rabid out of state Vikings fan, I enjoy Michael Rand and Andrew Krammer's analysis and perspective. Why is Ben G on the podcast? All he ever does is interrupt and derail the podcast. I never want to hear his Bret Favre impression again. Stick to the Vikings please and cut the digressions. The previous guy saved his Bachelor banter for the end of the podcast, so I could just stop listening to the end of the broadcast. Also, they could use a theme song to jazz up the intro. I listen each week in spite of Ben G.

UPDATE: So we go from the great chemistry of Vensel and Rand to Goessling annoying Krammer? Goessling is like the big brother nobody wanted. Original: Whoa!! Adding Andrew Krammer to this podcast is like when the Vikings added Favre*. Did they send Sid and Reusse down to 1500 to recruit him? Big signing by the Strib. Weakens an opponent while making an already stellar Vikings podcast the clear number one in the Twin Cities. * In this scenario, Tavaris Jackson would be Vensel's updates on the Bachelorette.

Love this podcast. Love hearing all the takes from seasoned perspective.

Kramer and Vensel know what they are talking about and have good insights. But man, the audio quality is awful. Last podcast had one of them pumping through my left ear bud and the other in my right. Also, glad the Bachelor season, and AV bit on the show, is over.

Consistenly the best insight and most relevant & thoughtful Vikings conversation.

A show about a team that 2/3 of the host seem to not like if your a fan their are multiple other podcast to actually have unbiased takes on the team but also gives you the feel that you like a team on the rise. Literally listen to anyone of them.

I tried a few other Vikings podcasts, but they were too full of frat boy banter. Access Vikings strikes a good balance between playful and informative. Keep up the good work.

These guys do such a good job of giving insight into the team. I don't believe the week is gone by where I haven't laughed out loud at some of the jokes. Keep up the good work fellas.

I enjoy the Podcast and am somewhat surprised by the limited number of reviews. One question: is my review the third behind Michael Rand's and Matt Vensel's? Anyway, I hope it's back for another year in 2016. It's good insightful stuff.
