This Show Is Integral To Me
Without these guys, I would've never gotten into the nicest community in wrestling. Kefin & Jo are the sweetest grapple fans around, and I'm happy to say I've been a fan for at least 8 years now. These two got me through many shifts at work and many trips on the road. Their often humorous, but always meticulously researched, profiles on wrestlers/matches/companies/etc have always filled me in on new things to know about the silly world of wrasslin'.

    Just the best
This is my favorite wrestling podcast! Excellent hosts and great information. Truly lives up to its name

    Every wrestling fan should listen!
One of the most entertaining wrestling podcast out there. Check it out.

It’s good for people with no athleticism discussing athletic feats
If you are an athlete of any type once per episode they will be dismissive of an athletic feat, and knowing either one can probably not do a cartwheel, it will probably bug you. Good conversation and decent explanations from Kevin. Listening to Jo become a little more jaded as a fan over time is enlightening to why wrestling fans are always complaining.

    The format is tired
Jo is no longer a “new fan,” Kevin’s research is often flawed and he’s not the expert he thinks he is. Jo is kind of smug and up her own butt. Show needs a complete revamp

Positive but also realistic look at wrestling
These two are absolutely fun to listen to. This would be a fantastic way to introduce new fans to wrestling. Kefin is hilarious and Jo is just wonderful.

    It’s really positive
Do you have any idea how many wrestling podcast are just people moaning and groaning about how much they despise wrestling? It’s the majority, and they are not easy to listen to, thank you for being a breath of fresh air in this noxious environment! Best regards I so impatient for the next episode!

Super refreshing to hear from a woman
As a dfab person who loved WWE in childhood and then had a lot of mixed feelings about it for most of my adulthood, it’s really great to hear a feminist take on a sport I love. Full of heart, not watching with glasses too rosy, tons of anecdotes to enjoy. Also I love Kefin’s Stone Cold impression and Jo’s hunk ratings. Would give more stars if I could!

Kefin is great but Jo is awful
I love the Attitude Era podcast (Kevin’s other pod) and this one was great at first but Jo had gotten intolerable to the point where I may stop listening even though they only drop an episode every month. She is one of this super annoying feminist who has to dial it up to 13 and blindly thinks every male is awful and all females are great and always right. She will apply this to wrestling storylines and it’s gotten to the point where Kefin doesn’t even correct her anymore. I feel for him. ITS SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT SWEETHEART.

    Excellent Podcast
Funny, informative, and always a pleasure to listen too. I’m somewhat of a “lapsed” wrestling fan, and yet I listen to this podcast constantly and I always enjoy it.

    How2Wrestling is an absolute delight!
Jo and Kefin are an absolutely pleasure to listen to. Taking a critical, socially conscious eye to the world of professional wrestling, while still being fair to the relevance and important of what came before, throughout it’s history. Also just hearing their opinions on random aspects of the business, their lives, and references to things they enjoy outside of the business are all wonderful. Unquestionably my favorite podcast.

    Cannot handle Jo
We get it. You love women and women’s wrestling. And women aren’t treated fairly in wrestling or in life.

    Informative and Enjoyable
A great way to learn alongside someone, this is entertaining for wrestling fans of all levels of fandom, whether just getting into it or following it all your life

    Fantastic stuff
as both a longtime fan and roommate of someone dipping their toes, this is great!

    Brilliant
The show is brilliant. Great chemistry between the two. It's funny. It's informative. It's brilliant.

    Good Yet Muddled
Mostly good content blighted by notably wrong info and preachiness.
  • Strangelove77
    Great podcast.
    Extremely informative and funny.

    Kefin makes gold.
I think I like this even more than the AE podcast. Kefin is great. Jo sounds adorable. Being american, these accents make everything funnier.

Exactly what I never knew I needed!
I'm a very, very new wrestling fan (just started watching this past June!) and H2W is everything I needed to help me dive into wrestling! It's nice to have two friendly voices talk about wrestling in a way that helps me actually learn stuff without being overly macho or condescending to new fans. Very well done, and thanks for making this show for people like me!

    A+
As a person whose interest in wrestling has had an extremely late onset, I can't say enough about how informative and entertaining How2Wrestling is. It's a great introduction to a strange, lurid, and fascinating world that would otherwise be essentially impenatrable to me. Even my girlfriend enjoys it, despite her bemusement and general alarm at my growing appreciation of dudes in spandex pretending to beat each other up.

    Love It
From literally the second an episode this podcast begins I fall in love with it. It's funny, whimsical, thoughtful, and touching all at once. A thread of nostalgia runs through the entire show as we experience a new fan's journey into the depths of pro-wrestling. Wonderful balance of personalities. Bravo!
  • Comic_Book_Joker
    Refreshing Viewpoint
As a longtime fan of wrestling, it's very easy to become jaded with WWE, a product that has historically been as open to change as CM Punk is to drugs and alcohol. The best way to remind yourself wrestling is supposed to be fun is to listen to someone who recently joined the fandom passionately explain what they do and don't like about WWE past and present. Much like Billy on the Attitude Era Podcast, but obviously on a wider scale due to the difference in content, Joanna has been the burst of newfound optimism and passion every lapsed fan should listen to. Kefin's position as a just-as-passionate longtime fan becomes the yin to Joanna's yang, and what results is a consistently amazing podcast.

    Meh
I like the podcast! The way Jo gushes on about Chyna was a bit much tho. We get it she's a chick. She was also a horrible promo and an average wrestler.

Hilarious and informative - best way to get into wrestling
Jo and Kefin are hilarious, and they really do their research. They do a great job of breaking down the terminology and key personalities of wrestling, along with providing historical context. They also do all of this without resorting to the "how I would have booked it different" approach or obtuseness of some other wrestling podcasts. It's hard to strike a balance between funny and informative but this podcast does it very well. I also love the occasional comedic tangents (Irish Christmas, the most "hansy" member of the Shield, etc.) I have listened to every episode multiple times because I just can't get enough of this show. Thanks for helping me become a wrestling fan and a "smart mark." I successfully got into wrestling thanks to this show and now me and my boyfriend have tons of fun watching WWE together. I also recommend it to all my friends who want to get into wrestling. It's a hard thing to get into without guidance from someone who knows their stuff....and Jo and Kefin know their stuff!

    Wrestling 101
Getting into wrestling and not sure where to begin? Let Kefin and Jo take you through the wild, wacky world of professional wrestling as they go thru prolific matches of wrestling greats, pay per views, and weird wrestling jargon. Recommended for new and long time fans of wrestling!
  • JRs Stud Farm
Better Than a Bucket of Croissantwiches
Much like Bull Buchanan, this podcast is young, it's mean, it's a stud. It's young, it's hungry, it's a stud, I wanna kiss it. Jo and Kefin put on a clinic and expose the business with plenty of steak to back up the sizzle.

    It's saving my relationship
Just like "Cinema Swirl" introducing me to movies i've never seen, "How2Wrestling" is helping my girlfriend understand WWE a little bit more. Thanx to Kefin & Jo, my gf is getting reintroduced to wrestling in a hilariously consistent way. I love all of Kefin's podcasts, but this one i can actually share with the lady and we can laugh and she can learn. Thanks guys. Keep going.

He is Your Leader, He is Your Guide
I'm late to the game when it comes to Kefin, I'm catching up on Cinema Swirl, AE, and now How 2 Wrestling. I must profess to being a lapsed wrestling fan, and I must admit Kefin's encyclopedic understanding of wrestling make the old new, and the new wonderful. Jo is a most unique voice, her thoughts, opinions, and forthright manner allow us all to learn and better appreciate the suite science of the squared circle.

    How2Podcast
Kefin and Jo are so enjoyable to listen to as they cover the world of Wrestling. It's great to hear someone discuss it with new eyes, and realize some of the things I have grown accustomed to examined with the shock of a new fan. I do in a way feel sorry for Jo due to the fact that the more you learn about wrestling, the history, and lives of its figures it can become rather dark and depressing at times.
  • MIkey Wild
    Absolutely lovely.
Brilliant idea for a podcast, and executed even better. Informative, funny, and excellent means of trying to get your friends or family to learn more about wrestling. One of the genius about it is: you don't need to already know characters or subject matter, where wrestling fans typically do not embrace the unassuming less that casual fan, this encourages it! For those of you who are already privy to the ins and outs of the wrestling business, it's a fun and enjoyable ride through a plethora of different subjects. Couldn't recommend enough!

    I Sweah To Gawd
Bro, the workrate of this podcast is unreal. It deserves to get pushed to the top of the charts, and eventually get the strap. Kefin and Jo definitely aren't jabronis, because their run-down of wrestling terminology hit me like a Vader potato. I was completely swerved at the end when Jo put together a sentence about that match between John Cena with all the heat on him and Rob Van Dam, who was incredibly over. I marked out when Jo mentioned Edge's run-in. And speaking of swerves, Jo's guess about Pearl Harbor, I mean... JEEEZUS (Zandig voice). Ok, I should wrap this up, I'm being a bit too much of a mark for myself. Anyway, just wanted to put this podcast over. See you later, brother.
  • Mr7504
    Love it!
Kefin is a natural-born entertainer, if you're a fan of cinemaswirl or AE podcast you'll love this one as well. As a long time wrestling fan you don't realize just how crazy wrestling can be until you hear someone try to explain it to an outsider.
  • JesOMac
You want to learn? Here is where to Start
Kefin from AEPodcast with his girlfriend help teach people the in's and out's of wrestling while staying entartaining

    Great beginners look at wrestling
An awesome podcast for anyone wanting to get a friend into wrestling, or get yourself back into it. Kefin and Jo have great chemistry, which makes the podcast easy to listen to. Check this podcast out people!

Another "Stone Cold" classic from Cowboy Kefin Mahon
Between this show, the Attitude Era Podcast and Cinemas Swirl, I don't even need to buy cable. I'm entertained 24/7. If you want top notch humor, insightful commentary and exotic accents/brouges check out all 3 of those programs.
  • Meghjb
Great for new and old fans alike
To keep it short, I can't wait for more episodes!

Kayfabe? Shoot? Face? Heel? What does this all mean?
I'm a big fan of the Attitude Era podcast, and upon hearing about How2Wrestling I was excited to hear it. In its nutshell, How2Wrestling aims to help people who are new to wrestling or wanting to teach someone about wrestling have an "easier" way of breaking them into the business. Joanna and Kefin have a nice back and forth, and while Kefin has a wealth of knowledge on the subject he doesn't go overboard with information. Whether you're a diehard fan or a newbie, I would recommend giving this a listen.
  • Biggator85
Quality commentary on my dreaded secret
Now I adore professional wrestling, but amongst my friends I stand alone on that point. What have with this podcast is a beautiful primer, a way to learn the ways of the business but also handy for people that already know a little about wrestling but wanna learn a little more.
  • County4565
    Great stuff
Wonderful listen for both long time wrestling fans, those who've newly started following wrestling, and anyone who simply enjoys entertaining media. This podcast is more than worth your time--and much better than anything Mark Kermode could ever hope to produce!

    Great idea, Great execution
I've often thought about how to get someone into wrestling and this show seems like the perfect answer.

Shaping up to be a great show. Kefin gives a fun, easy to follow history lesson on the business

    Great Show
Another winner from Kefin Mahon. Jo is a great foil (?) for trying absorb the wild and wacky world of pro wrestling.

    Kefin Mahon does it again!
First the AE Podcast, then Cinema Swirl, now How2Wrestling! Phenomenal by him and Joanna on this podcast pilot, as well as his work with Sam, Adam, and Billy. Great audio quality and great chemistry. Five out of five stars, from Laredo, Texas!
