WD in DallasToo many randomly placed adsGreat history, however, ads break up the flow so often I have given up listening to this podcast. Plus, they are much louder than the podcast itself. Don’t wear EarPods! I give 5 stars for the content, subtract 3 stars for the ads.
-
praxis78Good butToo many ads for such a short podcast
-
EllieBeathaToo Many Ad BreaksThe content is wonderful and very interesting, but the loud random, and frequent ad breaks make it too difficult to listen to.

DiremaxOpened up a whole world for me!Thanks to Tom for this wonderful podcast. British history is complicated (especially for us Yanks!) and Tom has given me an expedient way to break down this extraordinary past. Cheers!

Carl Tart's Party FartsGreat podDownloading 3 or 4 at a time to listen to and stare at a wall. If Aelfric were my homie i would chop his head off.
-
MaluhfaluffPlease offer ad-freeThis is a wonderfully researched and organized podcast. The ads however are many and awkwardly placed within the episode.
-
Digitalis76Getting better with each episodeTom’s cadence and delivery has proven to be quite exceptional and delivering find detailed accounts of various times of history during the Anglo-Saxon. Period well on certain topics he uses a wide brush, for the most part he uses a finer brush to help flesh out details

Scottssmith2000Obnoxious AdsI would love to listen to this if not were not for the hyper obnoxious adverts. Too bad!

BorealiscolorVery Worthwhile! As an American Anglophile, I have long relished both "The British History Podcast" and "The History of England Podcast." Recently, David Crowther, the brilliant host of the latter, recommended this podcast, and I am so glad he did. "Anglo-Saxon England" is clear, detailed, and enjoyable. I highly recommend it!
