Taxi!DriverSadly DepartedOne of the best podcasts ever; now history. This WAS my favorite podcast. Always new and fresh -- and entertaining. Professionally done and consistent go without saying as it was a product of the New York Times. Sadly, the last episode was the last podcast of 2011. J.D. and Pedro, I miss you. Please twist the appropriate arms there at NYT.

3panwolfThe EndI'm saddened that this is the end of future Bits: Podcasts . I see a door opening so keep looking for it.

DanielJSlickDecent podcastI found this podcast to be a decent tech podcast, replete with a healthy summary of the recent highlights in the tech world. I decided to end my subscription to Bits because it had been half a dozen episodes since any stories of interest to me were featured on the show. Because I immerse myself in the tech world 24/7, I found this podcast a late-comer to many of the big parties (in terms of breaking tech stories).

LoyalleLove it.Great podcast! Informative, intelligent and to the point. Btw, J.D's voice is pure beauty to my ears.

cerberisTrashSo what is it with the Apple hate on this podcast. If it weren't for apple & the ipod, these idiots wouldn't even be broadcasting or asking for an iTunes subscription. And why compare Siri on the iPhone 4S to HAL except as another opportunity to bash Apple. You idiots give the NYT a Bad Name!

Alissa FriedmanLooking forward to each new episodeJust found this a few weeks ago, and I really appreciate the reporting and focus. Unlike the tech commentary podcasts that come from the talk radio paradigm, where a set of personalities endlessly extend the conversation to fill the time, NYT Tech Talk is snappy, to-the-point, and worth my time. Thanks!

Cad_DesignerGreat showI throughly enjoyed the pandora report. I listened to three recent episodes before writing this review. I do not understand earlier reviews which critizize the voice of the host. I encourage all to give this podcast a try. I will definatly listen in the future.

R.C. HaymansBest tech podcast on iTunes! This is a very, very good podcast. I was initially put off by the posts about the host's voice but I think she sounds fine. Obviously not a trained radio person but pleasant enough. (The host of the Times science podcast has a wonderful voice) The interview segments are excellent and the tech term is a lot of fun. Best part of the podcast IMO. They recently did a segment on converting LPs to CDs that was incredibly helpful. One of the few podcasts I wouldn't mind getting every day.

DoogYobDecent program, annoying hostI like the content, format, and overall production value of this (going for a PRI style). The main host (J.D.) is so annoying though (particularly during the opener), I had to unsubscribe. But, if you can deal with her "jock" style reading, this would be a pretty good show.

Cindy L.Good content. Hate the voice. The content is very good. There is no dilly dallying in this podcast. It gets straight to business an does not stray from it. However, the main speaker has a very annoying nasally voice, far different from Science Times' host's smooth and callming voice. Maybe i will get used to it, but this may make or break me.

bluemanseattleThat voiceWhy can't J.D. just talk in her normal voice instead of that cutesy, sing-songy, phony style? I could understand if she were just starting out and was nervous and thought she had to do something "clever," but someone needs to set her straight. The podcast is informative and worth a listen, but she's unbearable. I saw another comment to this effect, so apparently I'm not the only one.

AGPVIDPure balance! The title says it all for me. This podcast has the perfect balance of PC and Mac, Hardware and Software, and computer technology and all other technology. Plus you get up to date industry news and goofy news like the NYU student who built her own robot and unleashed it on NYC as a social experiment. You see the robot needed assistance from the public to get where it was going. It was fascinating to hear what kind of reactions the robot got. My only complaint is they could be longer and more frequent!

Johnny_AustinI am a fanI discovered this podcast only a month ago or so and I have enjoyed it very much. But I have to say how disappointed I was with the last episode (5/27/09). Half of the podcast was on "Sexting" which is not exactly cutting edge info and the other half was a re-play about the move to digital TV. I learned nothing and was quite bored. I hope the team is not loosing their energy and excitement for the subject.

NorditeNYT Gives Me What I WantI love these podcasts because they give me the kind of technology information in the way I want to hear it. They don't get so technical that it goes right over my head. I love that. The latest one about backing up your PC was really good. I have Acronis and do back up my PC occasionally. I learned a couple of things I didn't know like about the backup program that comes with Vista. This is great stuff.

Carve625awesomeI don't really know that much about technology, but I don't feel lost listening to this podcast. There is a lot of info for a regular joe like me as well as for more hardcore techies. I always learn something new from this show.

Herzog31Good podcast, but can't handle her voiceThe hosts voice feels very put on. Otherwise, good content.

ReginarexOne of the BestI was looking for a Tech Podcast that wasn't from NPR or a bunch of amateurs - this NYT Tech Talk hits the spot! I love the three anchors/hosts, and their different segments and features - the Tech word of the week, the interviews, the overall air of being genuinely being curious and interested in technology. Great job, guys! Keep up the great work!!

Mb-08I'm also a fan of future techI really like this podcast. It talks about the future and current tech (F.Y.I Tomarrow comes today, duh). I really like tech and I can't live without it.

D80No self-indulgent time-wastingAs opposed to some podcasters who're all excited to show off their special audio effects, chatter about themselves, and seem to think listeners have all day to listen to them, these pros get right to the news. The content/time ratio is very high.
