Nancy in Fred'bgAmazing true story tellingI stumbled into this podcast and was a bit thrown off by the title…. But started the series about 1941 German invasion of the Soviet Union and listened to all 5 episodes in one day! This went into such detail,, I had never heard before even though I knew the over arching story. I’ll be back for more. Great job with this presentation

Ahm3dAc3Khalid Ibn-WaleedInfo was generic but some of the most important parts regarding Khalid was missed. Especially regarding his acceptance of Islam and how he got his title sword of Allah.

Albert CiprianiI am 70 years old…… And I thought I knew just about all there was to know about World War II, of which my father was a veteran. However, I am learning a lot more these days through your most wonderful podcast. You supply human details that are stranger than fiction. Thank you for your excellence!

J. MaryamIncredible storytelling and scholarshipHe tells well-researched and deeply human stories that bring the historical figures and the people around them to life in an authentic way. His narration is both objective and culturally sensitive. I appreciate that I don’t detect some of the intellectual pitfalls of many Western historians describing other cultures, especially Muslims. Very entertaining and informative. Definitely a treasure for the intellectually curious who love the human saga.
-
