Dont let people bully you with their own insecurities
Loved Ashley’s story about her struggle to decide to live in her car and eventually build a tiny home. (Fear episode) Other people try to use their power over us to validate their own insecurities, and the story about her being afraid of being judged as poor, but doing so anyway bc it worked best for HER was so impactful. Especially bc it shows how we look down on and SHAME those in poverty. Don’t let garbage people push their own shame and discomfort onto you. Just bc something doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else. And I wish we would stop thinking that one way is the only correct way to do things. Keep speaking your truth and having these conversations so we can learn to live with different pov’s (as long as they dont hurt other people).

    Love these funny honeys!
This show is so good! All their topics are really interesting and the way they discuss everything is hilarious and conversational. I feel like I’m just sitting in the room with them and sometimes I want to jump in with some comments too. The advice part at the end is one of my favorite parts too. I highly recommend!!

    Annoying advertising
I hear your ad several times every morning on iHeart Radio. It is horrible! Every time I hear it, I am reminded not to listen to your podcast. The hosts are clearly reading script and it annoys the f out of me. You need better direction/production.

Your ads on The Dan Patrick Show are too lengthy. Get to the point so I can continue listening to sports talk.

    Love the ladies!
I was actually listening to the strawberry letter in bed and woke up to this being advertised. I loved it and subscribed after the first show. The ladies are funny, have beautiful voices, are very intelligent with the way they all speak and have so many wonderful real topics to enjoy. I am a biracial woman (black mother, white father) even though I haven’t gone through the same hair struggles I do appreciate what they are saying and what they have gone through as black women to open our eyes of what they deal with. Now I do remember once a white girl told me in high school I had pretty hair for a black girl and can understand why my black mother was VERY upset! I love these ladies and can’t wait to hear more of their other discussions! Love you guys 💚

    I’m dead
I’m listening rn and hysterically laughing as I walk down the block alone. A million stars. Are you able to balance the volume levels so everyone’s voice is the same volume? Some voices are much quieter than others.

    Terrible and unoriginal
Awful and unoriginal podcast that attempts to virtue signal with the groups ridiculous name. More of a blame everyone else for our problems but ourselves podcast. Easy to skip over this lame excuse for a podcast.

Truths that need to be heard with a good comedic vibe!
I have know Yaz since hs and she is so talented! Seeing Obama’s Other Daughter’s flourish and get this platform couldn’t have came at a better time in life in today’s society and world. This is so good with a comedic vibe that has you all the way dialed in. #BlackGirlMagic

    Same Content Stolen Elsewhere
Their take isn’t that original or funny. It’s the same old talking points. Yawn. I am surprised they got funding for a podcast to just rip off every content producer for an unoriginal take.

I’ve seen these girls perform at UCB and they should’ve been on the mainstage A LONG TIME AGO! However, they didn’t even need the mainstage to get here! I love it! This podcast is amazing because it’s from an amazing hilarious together team. I love seeing them succeed!!!!!!

    Much needed
This discussion literally brought out the real when it comes to black girl struggles with hair. I love how honest you guys are and the many stories that you shared. It definitely helped me think that I am not alone when it comes to these situations! & the Cheetah Girls ending was amazing. If you and a girl and you have not seen the Cheetah Girls then you didn’t have a powerful childhood I’m sorry you missed out frfr. Can’t wait for the next discussions!!
