cmed5070Healing laughter & recounting God’s graceI’ve never written a review for a podcast…until this one. I fell in love with Annie & Eddie’s banter full of humanity & humility on the Relevant podcast. However, I had stopped listening to that podcast a few years back, and then quit all podcasts during COVID. When I recently returned the to Relevant podcast, and then got to the time when they both left, I searched them out…and stumbled onto this podcast. It was so incredibly healing for my soul to listen back to them processing together all the way to through the pandemic with grace, humility, & humanity. I am SO sad to have binged all the way through all the episodes in just a few short months, and to have now come to the end. I wish they were still recording A&E keep talking, no matter the frequency- I would pay!! Love you both.

K.L.W.Good for the soulIt’s May 2024 and I never listened to this show until recently. I realized my ears and mind needed to be surrounded and filled with wholesome chatter… chatter that isn’t trying to sell me, change me, get me to do something, or lead my heart and mind somewhere unhealthy. I started thinking “what are some shows that have a similar format to another (fairly) wholesome chatter show I love and can’t get enough of- Smartless… I already listened to TSF and knew about Annie and Eddie, so I dug into the archives, and it’s been like an instant bowl of chicken noodle soup for the soul. Thank you Annie and Eddie for creating this. I bet you never thought about how it could be used as a literal balm for the listener’s soul years down the road.

staybeautiful1718Going back for another listen…still makes me cackle! It’s end of April 2023, and I’m going back for a re-listen. I listened to every episode as they were originally released; I’m on episode 11 in my re-listen. They’re making me laugh just as hard 3 years later. The quarantine uncertainty is pretty funny at this point because I obviously know how it all turned out. Annie & Eddie are so hilarious; I’m loving this re-listen. I wish they’d come back!

AllisonW1813FlashbackListening to the latest episode, brought me back to the height of the pandemic in such a good way! I didn’t realize how comforting and routine it was to listen to Annie and Eddie Keep talking. Whether that was to and from a work at an intense Hospital or at home during an isolating quarantine, they provided comfort and reassurance that life still goes on! Thank you for the five minute flashback to what life was like, and how far we’ve come!
-
elh713EDIT: PLEASE COME BACK 😭THANK YOU!: it’s December 1st & they’ve gotten me through 10 months of a pandemic & several weeks of quarantine. They are the purest & most wonderful duo & the way Eddie says bye buddies makes it feel like we’re all going to be ok! 🤍

SaySayGreggA chat with friendsThe COVID-19 pandemic was terrible, except for this podcast. Annie and Eddie talk about the mundane, the serious, and the hilarious things that happened each day during the pandemic. It is a sweet chronicle of that terrible and unprecedented time in life.
-

JenNagyBreathe of fresh airI’m a missionary overseas and was confined to my apartment with Covid when Annie and Eddie started talking during her first two week quarantine. It was uplifting to have someone to listen to each day as they spoke about the full spectrum of daily life. Of course I continued to listen when they began their own podcast, they inspire and delight with their lives and conversations.
-

SumKelBye buddies! It’s weird how over the course of a year and a half how 2 random people on a podcast that your mom told you about became your best friends. I’ve loved every episode and will miss this show more than you can imagine. Bye Buddies!
-

AdiosApp1AdieuI knew this podcast was only meant for a season, but it didn’t lessen the blow to the heart when they announced it ending. Thank you both for the time you took out of busy lives to bring laughter to all who subscribed. I will greatly miss my Tuesday/Friday rhythm.
-
Jenelle CastelliSad newsCan’t believe the news! I’ll miss this show a lot, it’s easy to listen to and the most fun - down to earth podcast around. It’s obvious you are great friends, been listening from the start. Good luck with the next adventures for you both!

Mackenzie ByersdorfAlways going to laugh, always going to be encouragedAnnie and Eddie manage to make me laugh every episode AND leave me feeling more connected to my own humanity, in a hopeful way. Whether they're sharing the real deal of life or a hilarious story, I leave encouraged. And if it helps, I'm from the PNW and have almost no experience with the South or Florida or college football, and I laugh EVERY episode. You guys are the best! Thanks for sharing!
-
ShortAttentionSpan!Y’all make me smileThank you for being funny, kind, but mostly-transparent. I appreciate you sharing your real struggles. That seems to let me know-it’s Okay to be myself. Keep up the great work- Mama Stout Tullahoma, TN

JessorJessicaConvos with Good FriendsAnnie and Eddie invite us to pull up a chair. They talk about everything and nothing, and you are entertained (truly laughing out loud) from start to finish. There is so much heart in this show too. A+E are like two new BFFs.

Cmmmmmmmmmmm22About Annie and EddieAnnie and Eddie are a welcomed friendship and conversation in my daily life. Listening to them process life in real time and being vulnerable in their thoughts reminds me that following Christ and living the human life has no “right” equation and is built upon the vulnerable, honest community we have with each other and God

Kki32...About 90’s countryOk have listened every episode of Annie and Eddie. I am mere months older than you them and this episode was every single thing!! Talk about good times! My new fav episode!! Thanks for the nostalgia!

That Quarantine OreoLove love LOVE this!!!When Annie and Eddie first announced they were making a podcast just dedicated to their witty and entertaining conversations I was like "No, stop it!!"😆😂 I was so excited for a great show with two of my favorite people, I wasn’t disappointed. And let me tell you, it really is! Their views on the quarantine, bowling, birthday parties, Oreos...and just about everything just makes my day. They helped me keep my sanity during the quarantine. It is laugh out loud comedy and entertaining! It is very important to hear a positive voices in this crazy world, and Annie and Eddie are just that!
-
SJGoochLove It!Annie and Eddie are my faves. They feel like friends I’ve never actually met. Here’s to heaven when we can meet and hang out in person indefinitely. I’m down for that.
-
tjeanbrTwo new friendsI commonly listen to this podcast driving home from work. I am not someone who usually laughs out loud, but I do laugh and sometimes cry when listening to these two. For the record moving in August when it is hot is not fun. In Connecticut August is preferred rather than moving when there is snow and ice!
-
syd178I love this showThis show is a highlight of my week. Almost every episode has me laughing out loud one minute, then the next minute has me in my feels with something serious. I love the balance, and I love coming back every Tuesday and Friday to see what random goodness I’m going to get that day.
-
beckym90My only consistent showI’ve listened to every episode since the beginning and I feel like they’re just my buddies now. So grateful for these two souls!

Emily from ATLBest podcast everI laugh out loud almost every episode! It’s like listening to two of my friends just chat about anything and everything. Only wish the episodes were longer!!❤️
-
JBruleyThanks BuddiesI would listen to you talk about anything. If you want an off the rails show where truly anything could come up. This is for you. Keep crushing it my dudes👊
-
AbbyWilson528Listen EVERY TIME!I love podcasts and they often pile up in my library, but I make time in my day to listen to AE Keep Talking the days it comes out each week! I loved listening daily in 2020 and am so happy they have continued talking. This podcast is my fave!
-
LessthanFuiFirst Ever ReviewTo put it simply, Annie and Eddie feel like my friends. In a year that has held some pain and fear for all of us, getting to sit in on their conversations has been a balm. Annie and Eddie, PLEASE KEEP TALKING! I love where your hearts are coming from, I love to see an edifying and healthy relationship between two adult friends of the opposite sex, I love your SNL/TV show/pop culture talks, I love your love for God and His people. I just love it all! Thank you!

Kt WhoSeriously, my first review EVER (and she’s a novel)I have loved Annie and Eddie ever since they were apart of the Relevant Podcast (Eddie, you were always my fave with your Rainn Wilson sounding voice, your quick, dry humor, and your counselorly {that’s a word now} wisdom). I had started listening to the Rel. Podcast in 2018, when I was going through an extremely dark battle with OCD (Not neatness & perfection. Unwanted, horrible thoughts that would not stop). When I found that podcast, it was like I had found a group of friends. I had cut myself off from all my friends because of dealing with OCD. But listening to everyone talk on that podcast helped in some way to be connected with people in a good way. It was good practice for me to focus on conversations and not let my thoughts derail. Counseling, Fluoxetine, Jesus, and honestly listening to you all talk on the Relevant Podcast helped me get back to some semblance of “normal”. But this is a review for A&E Keep Talking. ;) When Annie and Eddie left the Rel. Podcast in 2019, I was really bummed. Understood, but was bummed. (I think especially cause me and my newly married husband had moved across the country at the time of this transition with Relevant. So I kinda felt I was separated from even more friends with you all leaving). I tried to still listen to the Rel. Podcast, but it felt like there was this lack of balance. When I found on that Annie and Eddie were doing a podcast, I was hesitant, but hyped. But as soon as I started listening - there was that balance. Deep, silly, fun, real, on and on. Who knew it’d be satisfying to listen to a conversation about alarm clocks? ;) I don’t even like sports, but I still like listening to you all talk about the Savannah Banana’s, haha. It feels like I’ve gotten some of my friends back, and I love it. <3 Thank you all for having these honest conversations and sharing them with us. Thank you both for being our ‘friends’. :) Thank you both for the amazing work you do helping SO MANY people mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. P.S. I’m off Social Media at the moment, so can’t ask a question via that medium. But maybe I could ask it here? Have you guys listened to Jesse Carey’s other podcast ‘Hiding Something’? I admit I’m behind on season 2, but I think it’d be interesting and fun to hear your guys take on season 1, and what you all think of Bigfoot (somehow I can see you guys rolling your eyes, haha).

AlliSue42So much fun-and episodes build but can all stand aloneOh gracious. Such a great podcast. From the beginning, Annie and Eddie’s chats have regularly make me burst out laughing as I listen from the grocery store to long car rides to standing in front of the sink doing the dishes. They get such a great balance of funny and thoughtful—because it’s two good friends just talking about what is happening in life and the world! In the isolation of living alone overseas during the pandemic it’s been a gift to listen in to two friends processing through it together and still having lots of fun. Also appreciated: the ads aren’t super long and I usually don’t mind them because A+E talk genuinely about things they actually use or have thoughts about. Much less prone to find my phone to skip the ads than in other podcasts. Thanks A+E! Keep it up!

RMTimmsConversation Between FriendsThe world feels very polarized right now and I often feel frustrated that there isn’t a more nuanced place for people to talk who might disagree on things but are still friends. I am always amazed at how Annie and Eddie demonstrate this so beautifully for the listeners! Though I more often find myself coming from a perspective similar to Eddie’s on things, I respect Annie a lot and enjoy having an example of how to live out an honest and kind friendship. Plus they really do have a lot of fun!
