rohnerfamPoignant & ImportantInterviews are conducted smoothly, thoughtfully, and with a nuance that peels away the pretense to get to the heart of our relationship with race. Against the backdrop of all things 2020, this podcast helps us all explore the intricacies of race using conversations as a vehicle. Highly recommend!

AgranokPhenomenal and brilliantCome Through is a phenomenal podcast. Rebecca Carroll is one of the most insightful interviewers I have ever heard, going right to the heart of the matter and then digging even deeper. Her guests are also brilliant and they discuss different facets of race, the pandemic, and our future that are both timeless and timely. I absolutely recommend Come Through.

liveFreeRyanExcellent and informativeMs. Carroll is a great interviewer. As a white man that knows he needs to be a part of the solution but doesn’t know as much as he needs to I consider this podcast a key part of my (re)education. Thank you for adding another piece to my syllabus. I’ve already shared this with a few friends and hope that will allow us to be helpful and compassionate allies. Please keep it up. We all need this.

-
Jenn WolfeMind-bendingHard to believe all episodes thus far were recorded before the protests. But we are seeing the chickens coming home to roost from all the issues discussed on this show.
-

cndls123452020 needed this!!!Rebecca is opening up the conversations that are needed the most! She uses her unique perspective as a black child adopted by a white family in an atheist home to shine light on, in a well thought out way, the topics that hide deep in the roots of our country. A must listen to now more than ever!
-
OhioforHRCImportant podcast for white people to listen toRebecca Carroll is a thoughtful interviewer and has clearly put forth a lot of work to make this valuable podcast. The messages are for everyone but I believe they are especially important for white people (including myself) to listen to and learn from. I consider this essential listening.
-
Lillllll lõplikShould be required listeningThis podcast forces me to reckon with every privilege I have as a white able bodied person. This podcast is an excellent resource to re-evaluate the systems we live in and how we are automatically indoctrinated to be complicit and uphold these systems.
-
IkieRefreshing Perspective on Today’s IssuesRebecca is an insightful journalist, who finds ways to make you want to listen to the thoughtful perspectives she and her guest discuss!
-
WWoldsterMust listen for everyoneThank you for this podcast. I’m white and find the discussions compelling, thought provoking and important for understanding the daily toll white supremacy has on POC. Forces me to really stop and think.
-
harleyobEssentialThis podcast is essential listening! As a white personal slowly but (hopefully) surely unlearning they habits of white supremacy culture, and learning how I can show up fully and deeply for people of color, Black folks and all others impacted by this country’s history of oppression, I feel heartened and challenged by Rebecca and her guests’ thoughtful conversations.
-
FeerSumLadyThoughtful and honest.I really enjoy these shows, it’s really nice to hear someone trying to process the nature of living as a POC in a nation that has seemed to diminish our worth and voices in the last few years. I rarely get to hear how how people that look like me are feeling and the pain of invisibility is a daily part of our experience. This show has made me feel less alone and I hope that more people find it. Not just POC but also those who need to reclaim their empathy for people that don’t look like them.
-
gondelmanA really compelling listen!Rebecca conducts really thorough and fascinating interviews! Her guests (all experts in their fields) have valuable insights, and every conversation is so illuminating and challenging!
-
story of champion6839ElevatedRebecca’s conversations are genuine, informed, and timely. I love an empowered perspective.
-
GDB-SCEChallenged my MotherThe interview with DiAngelo has possibly provoked my mother to, at the absolute least, really think about how she can defend her racist behavior. Which is further than I’ve ever gotten.
-
b1ntr0pixRev. T.D. JakesThis conversation was so illuminating, because deep faith and love are the necessary basis of blck community resilience & effective social welfare and justice movements. Nuanced explorations of the ways in which POC persevere and fight on, towards a democracy that lives up to its own proclaimed principles of equality.
-
Nicole_RaiNice little gem!I found the podcast this morning and I’ve enjoyed the episodes thus far. As a black woman who doesn’t often make things about race, I’ve still wanted to find intelligent conversations happening involving black people that come from positions of empowerment. I find that often a lot of mainstream content that comes out are from victim hood perspectives. While I can understood how someone could get to that point, it doesn’t resonate with me. This podcast I hope, will only get better, continue to have many voices with many different perspectives that push, challenge, and test even my thought process on race.
-
dphnycHooked! So great! Will be listening all the time!
-
zebz2Thoughtful and enjoyableI’ve really been enjoying this podcast so far. These are some much needed conversations and perspectives on the issues we are dealing with today. Thanks for giving me a new way to look at things and talking with such smart and compassionate people!
-
identicallmeFANTASTICAn important voice to listen to talking to other important voices? Yes, yes, yes please. And thank you very much for all your work in this world.

-
jeffersonjenA bird of paradiseThis podcast is smart, considerate and well thought out. It not only asks smart questions it helps me as a listener to be reflective on how I can contribute to my community and our society as a whole. It is reminding me and inspiring me to do the things I need to do to see the change I want to see in the world.
-
SeekerSLSThank you Rebecca Carroll! Keep ‘em comin’!I am excited by and love that Rebecca is simultaneously unapologetic, respectful and honest in exploring her questions with her guests, from a breadth of professions and personal experience, as focused through the lens of race and racism in the US as it has and continues to imprint (mostly?) African Americans/those of the “of color” diaspora. Kudos, Ms. Carroll!
-
HappyFingerSSWonderful, honest conversationsRebecca Carroll is fabulous in these conversations. I’ve been following her since she spoke at Pact Family Camp East in 2016. Her direct, honest approach — “what were you thinking” — is evident here. So is her humanity. Thank you!
-
n2worldmusicExceptionalRebecca is a very skilled conversationalist. She does an excellent job of engaging and posing interesting questions that promote compelling dialogue. I’ve been a follower of hers on Twitter and I’m delighted to hear her new podcast!
-
Red2strikeI knew I wasn’t the only one! This podcast is such a godsend, especially in the time of COVID-19! I’ve always been the one to bring up race, class, gender, intersectionality, history, etc. in conversations only to be shut down by family and community. It’s good to know that finally people are peeling back the layers and understanding these conversations in “realness” are more important than ever in building a just future.
-
Hungry4HimYaass! Come ThroughFantastic new offering! Her curiosity is infectious and draws me right in to the conversation. Nice mix of respect and fearlessness. Nice job Come Through is a hot!
