This podcast makes me laugh-cry and that’s really all you need to know.

    Know what you're downloading
The show's title is a take off an anatomy based insult, starring a comedian and a podcast producer talking about a reality show. If you don't like it, what did you think you were getting? Nick and Anna present a great banter of two friends talking about something that couldn't possibly matter less. It takes me back to my friend group watching Family Guy and terrible movies back in college. I'm enjoying learning more about the cast, the production of the show, and the yachting industry in gerenal, but that all takes a back seat to the hosts' friendship.

    Please come back!
I found out about this podcast because I’m a devout listener to WYATR and had to hear what Dr. Banana was up to next. I’ve watched every episode of Below Deck from the day it aired and have listened to every episode of Deckheads since the day that it aired. I was really bummed to hear you say that last week was the last episode. Say it ain’t so!

This dumb ho loves this podcast!
The only thing better than listening to Anna breakdown the Bachelor on WYATR is listening to her breakdown Below Deck! This Dumb Ho loves this podcast! XOXO

    Doctor Tanna Banana
I started listening to the Will You Accept This Rose podcast about a year ago and fell in love with it, always wishing I could get even more, and THEN when I heard Anna had her own podcast I was so excited! And about Below Deck are you KIDDING me?!? I’m a new Deck Head as I only started watching when the pandemic started but like Anna and Nick I’ve binged almost all the seasons in the past 10 months! And this podcast has truly become one of my favorites! Anna is so witty, I love her and Nicks funny banter and jokes that she should get a new co-host, and the guests are always amazing as well (especially my spirit animal Arden). The pandemic has truly taken a toll on my mental health but I can always count on Anna and BOTH of her podcasts to brighten up my day! Also, Anna’s Captain Lee impression is truly unmatched. Love you and that you for always making me feel seen and heard when it comes to reality tv, and for always making me smile and laugh! ❤️

    Tanna-Banana is a precious treasure
Found this pod bc of wyatr and my love of Anna’s years of spot-on commentary. This is exactly the type of light friendship magic content that gives me life in the pandems, high recommend!!

    DEDICATION
I found this podcast like a week or so ago when Anna plugged it on WYATR. When I realized there were like a billion episodes I wondered how I missed this podcast for years. I soon learned these lunatics (is that ableist? sorry) burned through the ENTIRE SERIES of below deck and all it’s trash iterations during the pandemtimes. I admire their dedication. I am thankful for the hours of banter. I am delighted by Nicks Liverpool accent. It’s a dumb podcast about a dumb show hosted by two friends who don’t always tolerate each other’s dumb jokes. It’s not high art, but it’s perfect for what it is. And you know what, you can learn stuff. Hashtag boat facts. Omg I hate you. I’m pro sex work.

    Oh no...
Came here because of will you accept this rose, but this show is such a drag and the hosts seem miserable working with each other. Neither seems like they want to be here. I suggest taking a improv class together (yes and...) (They trashed my review on WTR, so I made the review less specific so nobody steals my social security number as threatened 😝) genuinely sorry if I hurt feelings— my feedback was quite weak and that’s my fault for being careless.

Will you accept this deck head?
Came here because I love Anna on Will You Accept this Rose and she's even more delightful and entertaining on Deck Heads! What a gem - so happy I get more Anna to listen to!

    Anna Anna Anna!
From the other podcast, popping in to say Anna is awesome. She is funny, thoughtful, and articulate. Appreciate you and all you do, Anna!!!

    I ❤️ Anna!!
Great podcast!!! Love Anna & Nick! I know podcasts are a lot of work, you are doing a fabulous job. Thank you! #WYATR

I came here from “will you accept this rose” just to say that Anna is smart and beautiful and funny and brilliant.

    Could be better
Show is better with guests but it’s still all over the place. Show is a mess

I love this podcast as much as I hate Gatsby theme parties

    Dolphin sex fact
Love you guys and did very much enjoy your Rob banter and knock knock jokes, along with everything else. Re dolphin week: I was a dolphin handler in Florida and sometimes after work we’d get in and swim with them in the lagoon. We could hold on to their dorsal and they’d give us a ride. The male dolphin had a bad habit of dropping you off in the middle of the lagoon, far from shore and then start to swim by and bump you with his erection. Being unnerved, I would swim rapidly back to shore so nothing more came of it. These dolphins had straight penises but I have seen ones with corkscrew shapes. Don’t read this part on air: I love you guys! But I loved the podcast more when it was just you two, without guests. It’s too all over the place and we don’t get enough of your genuine funny selves. Xoxo

    Boat facts for Nicky T’s
Love the pod! Still working my way through it but so far the only trip up is season seven of below deck reg, but let’s just call that season the one with the gas leak like Community and just not speak of it....except than that Nick you were wrong and Anna you were right. Lol kay here are some boat facts for ya!! The Florida Keys are the only place in the continental U.S. where one can, on foot, watch the sun rise and set in the ocean. The speed of sound in water is 1,435 m/sec – nearly five times faster than the speed of sound in air. Antarctica has as much ice as the Atlantic Ocean has water. Blue whales are the largest animals on our planet ever (exceeding the size of the greatest known dinosaurs) and have hearts the size of small cars. One study of a deep-sea community revealed 898 species from more than 100 families and a dozen phyla in an area about half the size of a tennis court. More than half of these were new to science.

Civil war ghost Rob would approve
I laughed out loud multiple times listening to my first episode (recap of s.8, e.1) - especially when they called Rob a civil war ghost. I know Anna from WYATR and love her. I’ve been listening to the episodes all weekend!

    Boat binge bonanza
Loving this podcast so much! I am binging the old episodes, while listening to the new ones covering the latest season. I would provide a boat fact, but I haven’t listened to all of the old ones yet, so I don’t know if you actually covered what I would tell you about… It would have been about the Mary Celeste, though, because spooky boat facts are the best! Also listen to Will You Accept This Rose! Tanna and Arden are my pretend pandemic best friends! You’re okay, too, Nick.

    Amazing Treasure🌊
Five Stars!!! As a lover of all things reality podcasts this one has it all. Super funny and informed hosts along with hilarious guests. I am so glad to find this show I laugh the whole time. Thank you so much for your efforts, keep it up. I love listening to the your tales in previous seasons too. Perfect quarantine fun⚓️

Has nothing to do with Below Deck
I’m so confused as to what this podcast even is. It was plugged by a show Ana was a guest on and she was hilarious. I love Below Deck and listened to 3 episodes to see if it got better. LESS THAN HALF the entire podcast even relates to Below Deck. I truly don’t know the hosts or care about their personal life/banter when the show is about watching Below Deck. It’s all over the place, they don’t even know the names of people or positions they have. They also watch like 6 episodes at a time, and mash them all together instead of episode by episode. Wouldn’t suggest to those who actually want to listen to Below Deck content

I’m in a deep Below Deep hole and this is what I need
Perfect accompaniment to my current addiction. Love the new episodes with guest! Keeps it fresh. Cheers Nick and Anna!

    This podcast keeps me sane🌟
Hey y’all just dropping by to leave a five star review. This podcast seriously keeps me sane with everything else going on in the world. I actually never heard of this TV show before, but I heard about your podcast since I’m zeitgang! (Heyyyyy). Anyways, I signed up for Peacock and I’ve been watching Below Deck all day wearing a fancy hat and drinking wine (for Halloween). Also love hearing about your lives and what’s going on. I’m excited to watch this in real time with y’all soon. Take care and stay safe! (p.s. I also listen to both of y’all’s other podcasts) (p.p.s. if my username is something dumb with “purple”, I made it when I was like 12 (now 30) and cannot figure out how to change it).

I will die when this show goes weekly
This show has truly become vital to my quarantine lifestyle. I turn it on while getting ready each morning and something about it provides emotional comfort like nothing else in my life right now. There’s nothing like laughing at SAAANDYYYYYY every single time you say it, I will never get tired of that or of the Rob bit. Your minds are both so beautiful, god bless. At the time I’m writing this you’re about to go weekly and I just don’t know what I’ll do without my morning dose of Nick and Anna banter. Love you guys, and can’t wait to listen tomorrow, the next day, the next day, etc. I also have a fact about a very cool kind of boat I just learned about! Houseboats are not usually works of art so much as utilitarian pontoons. But in the Kerala region of India, the Kettuvallam-style houseboat drifts through the waters with ornate thatched roofing, beckoning tourists aboard. The design dates back to 3000 B.C. and was originally used to transport spices and passengers along trade routes. Look up a pic for the full effect!

This podcast is my guilty pleasure
Objectively, this podcast should be terrible. A three star at best. But emotionally? 5/5.

    Boat fact
1.The noun quarantine comes from Italian quarantina giorni or forty days. It comes from the Venetian policy of quarantining ships from plague-stricken places for 40 days, ensuring no one infected is on board. From the 17th century onwards, the term was extended to “any period of forced isolation”. 2. Oh and cats on a ship are good luck. Especially black ones! Love you guys! Taken from kiwi.com

    Wonderful pod
I’ve always been a big fan of Anna and now I’m a big fan of Nick as well as this wonderful pod. I listen every morning as I water my vegetable garden and it’s become my favorite way to start my day. Their banter and silliness never ceases to entertain. 5 stars all the way. I’d give a 6th star for their “SANDY when I love someone I go away from them” impression of hannah.

    Funny Duo
Please actually listen to the podcast they NEVER made fun of Capt. Lee’s Son. They are hilarious though.

    Two episodes a day!
Wow, great show. And now that you’re releasing TWO A DAY my liver doesn’t have to make it past Election Day. BOAT FACT: I’m drunk and captain Lee stole the tips.

    Fun Mindless Listen
This show is a hot mess but I really enjoy it. I’ve seen all episodes of all 3 BD franchises (flex) so this is a trip down memory lane for me. I have learned that it’s best to skip the first 6-14 minutes of the episode during which time it’s all nonsense and shenanigans. But today they started in with the recap at 3 minutes so that threw me off. I forgive Anna for listing Ashton as one of her faves because she hasn’t seen the most recent season of BG OG. Can’t wait for them to get into Sailing Yacht! Update 9/23: So great to witness Anna coming around on Ashton. Love to see it. Wish I could give 5 more stars.
  • Merirei
Five stars, but “haole” isn’t derogatory
Nick Turner Haole is not a derogatory word or slur unless you are not a Haole. Haole just means foreigner or white. People take it as a slur because of white guilt maybe? Anna is brilliant as always. Can't wait for the mixtape vol.2
  • Everyone is named jade
    Jade doesn’t do boats
I love this podcast! I dont have a boatfact but I do have a compliment for nick, your singing voice is like butter, and Ive adopted saying "what the fulck?" like nick. Anna and nick have me laughing out loud constantly, give them a listen you wont be disappointed.

    LOVE IT
Love it!! Anna and nick! An iconic duo! You guys are the absolute best! Also, this is totally out of left field, but Nick, I am in ( working to get out of) that boot too, and I felt incredibly seen by you! This podcast is a ton of fun, and you are missing out if you don’t listen. P.s. @nicksturners sorry I don’t have a boat fact but I do have glowing praise! Hope that helps!! :)
  • MontyPythonGirl
    Awesome
This show is hilarious and thanks to Anna for introducing me to this great reality trash, right in my wheelhouse. Nick Turner is so fun to listen to. Thanks for all your hard work putting this together! I do sometimes find myself wishing there was more banter, bits, and general fun convo about the crazier parts of this show rather than a methodical detailing of every scene. Just my take! Y’all are awesome!
  • MeganMS_atx
    SANDY!
I’m a big fan of Anna and Nick’s other pods. I started watching Below Deck just so I could listen to this podcast. I crack up every time they says “Sandy!” In Hannah’s voice

Fun revisit of an old favorite
I love below deck but haven't ever gone back an watched the first few seasons. It is fun to revisit the past seasons even if I sometimes disagree with the hosts. (Rocky, really????) Boat Fact: In 1945, a German U-boat sank due to a toilet malfunction. The sub was fitted with a new deep water high-pressure toilet system which allowed them to be used while running at depth. Flushing these facilities was extremely complicated and special technicians were trained to operate them. - Apparently they weren't trained well enough.
  • TheTif
    These guys are real yachties
I love this show, Nick and Anna are the best. Boat fact: you can remember which side is port and which side is starboard by using the saying “there’s a little port left” because when you are looking towards the bow port is on the left. Hopefully I didn’t learn that from a boat fact that Nick already shared.
  • colinstrangle
    Barnacles
Here’s a boat fact for you - barnacles. Large barnacle colonies cause ships to drag and burn more fuel, leading to significant economic and environmental costs. The U.S. Navy estimates that heavy barnacle growth on ships increases weight and drag by as much as 60 percent, resulting in as much as a 40 percent increase in fuel consumption!
  • Spoken Elevated Truths
    Heee Har Har!
I listen to this podcast for the same reason I watch Below Deck ... to be entertained! Not truly a fan of Below Deck, the show is a go to while doing the mundane. Deckheads does the same when not infront of a TV. Anna and Nick’s banters are hilarious and keeps my spirits high in these quar-times. I giggle so much to myself that my husband thinks I’ve lost it. But on wells .. thx for the breakdown & laughs!!!
