I keep coming back to this podcast in my mind. It was so compelling and well done. It felt like true investigative journalism that was sensitively and responsibly done. I’ve been aching for another season. Pleeeeeaaaassseee!!

Why is there no more episodes and just end. I thought it was doing a great job explaining the whole process and story. I wish the second season would of came out unless there is something that is holding it back and then I would like to know hey when the obstacle is overcome we will release the second season.

This is an amazing podcast, I do miss Britt tho! Also, if you’ve already listened to other podcasts by Ashley and you didn’t like it, then just stop listening to others done by her. Don’t listen to it just so you can give it a bad review, it makes no sense. I love all of your podcasts, Ashley-keep creating!

Her podcast are all about money and trying to get as much as she can…. Monetizing a podcast in that way that she needs to tramp over victims and their families to get some money, and on top of that she plagiarized some podcasts and is very sad that they didn’t accept their “mistake” but they took literal what it was said in 2 other podcasts, I even listen to the owners of this affected podcast and they never received an apology…. Sad that doesn’t own what they do. And about this podcast here is sad that information presented here is not available for the family of the victims because is “confidential “ … as I said as long as she gets money no matter who she tramps over to get it and that is greedy…. You don’t deserve to get any attention if you are not capable to respect the victims and their families monetizing their tragedies…

After reading some of these reviews, I was hesitant to give this one a try. I see what the others are saying and I get it - media relations/PR are more about relationships than anything. Interesting to see how she’s trying to build up the divide bw media and law enforcement in a new way — especially interesting to see a government agency thinking in a forward fashion. Last update was Feb 4, 2022? Bummed at the lack of attention to this show and the lazy update that was essentially just an ad for another show…

Why are podcast reviews like a negative bathroom wall now? Brit isn’t even in this one yet she’s getting shade. Apparently a lot of people love them, considering they’re topping the charts. Stop bashing them so much! Make an even better podcast if you’re so knowledgeable :) Keep doing your thing ash and brit. Love your work.

As always, trash product from this creator. Or rather this plagiarizer. There are so many true crime podcasters who write their own material. Find one of them.

The story is interesting and I wanted to like it but the host worships these cops like a little kid talking about firefighters to the point it becomes too annoying to even listen.

The fact that Ashley was given information even the victims families didn’t know is absolutely disgusting.

I’m totally confused by this podcast. There didn’t seem to be a point or even a story. Four short episodes of pretty much nothing.

Some of these details the family didn’t even know, yet here is Flowers exploiting it. Disgusting.

It’s hard to get excited about an Ashley Flowers production. Not only is her work basically just a gossip show, but she and her sidekick steal from real journalists and investigators.

…not ok to use the work of others without crediting them. Glad you’re doing that now, Ashley, but you need to apologize to those you’ve used in the past without crediting. Otherwise, you have no integrity. Also, it’s awful that you were given info from this cop that the victim’s family didn’t even get. What’s up with that?

I’ve been binging crime junkie for about 2 months now and heard the first episode of this series on crime junkie so now i’ll be taking a break from that show to binge this haha. Ashley you do amazing work and I love that you don’t just tell stories but you get involved and help to solve and bring justice!!

The publishing date is wrong. This was in 2019, not 2022 so I started listening to it thinking it was new and was not. It’s cool though- honest mistake I suppose

I really liked this separate podcast from Crime Junkies. I liked how you explained the process of the police force and why police don’t reveal all the information of the case. I have never heard of this case before as I was not born at the time. When I looked up the location I realized the Burger Chef is 8 minutes from my house! Full. Body. Chills. I hope this case can be solved and that the families and the community can find peace. I am on edge waiting for a season 2 if there is one in the works.

Not much information on the murders. Short episodes, long intros. Seems like the project was pulled. Nothing substantive. I know less about this murder than a crime junkie episode. Crime junkie is awesome and she’s very charismatic but this podcast fell flat.

Half of the already extremely short episodes are about the mountain of evidence in binders and how one man has to look through it, then catalog it. *yawn*

I find out about this podcast from listening to CrimeJunkie. I won’t lie. I didn’t expect myself to get addicted to the show. Anyway good show to listen to while I am working. Keep up the good work.

Such a great perspective to share with us. Looking forward to other cold case investigations. Also have followed Ashley around to all her other shows and they are equally amazing, chilling, attention grasping. I listen all day while at work and on my drives, she brought me into the world of podcasts.

I’ve been binge listening to crime junkies and when you mentioned this case and this podcast I had to immediately come listen. I love your podcasts and the way you tell the stories and always keep them interesting. Keep them coming.

One of very few true crime storytellers out there who’s concise, descriptive, and as objective as possible. Ashley does not f* around!! Now that I’m back in Indy, this case hits home even more. Thank you for bringing it back into the spotlight!

Interesting case, but could have been one episode. 7 minute intros each time was too much.
