Married With Movies

16

Just a funny married couple that watches a randomly drawn movie every week and then talks about it (hopefully without an argument).

    Not for me, I guess
It's always good, when trying a new movie podcast, to listen to an episode about a movie you know; it gives you a good indication of whether the series is worth subscribing to or not. ~ Having listened to an episode about one of my favorite movies, I've decided that these hosts are not for me, and won't be listending to more.

    ECU
If the Ernest movies ever reference themselves, then obviously they take place in what would be dubbed the Ernest Cinematic Universe (henceforth referred to as the ECU). It pains me to admit that many years have passed since I've done a comprehensive rewatch of the complete library of Ernest P. Worrell. I feel like I have failed you as a film fan and, more importantly, as a friend. But still, the question remains to me answered: Do the Ernest adventures occur in one continuous world? My answer in a word is simply... no.

    Love it!
So entertaining and helps to pass the time at work and on my commute. I always look forward to the banter and MVP & LVP. It's great!

    Fun Podcast
This is a fun podcast that covers a variety of movies. I love the chemistry between Sam and Chris Mullet, which keeps the podcast fun and light hearted.

At first, I told myself I'd only listen to the episodes of films I have seen so that I could follow along with their critique. I fell so in love with the show's structure and of course with the couple's dynamic that I couldn't stop myself from listening to every episode. The Mullets clearly love each other, have a banter that's fun to listen to, and their reviews of movies are thoughtful. I also love how they encourage interaction from their listeners via Twitter or their gmail. I'll be missing you both this holiday season! Much love to you and your family ❤️.

    I like it
I like it but I also hate when it starts and my eardrums blow out with the intro. Then I have to raise the volume because the audio is so low, and then my eardrums explode because the outro is so loud. Audio balancing quite poor.

Here's to keeping me awake at work!
A perfect companion podcast for those of us with boring, isolating jobs! I stifle giggles, shake my head in mock disbelief, and bask in the nostalgia of long-forgotten (and often terrible) films. The love you two have for movies and for one another truly shines through.

    Awesome!
The Mullets have great, hilarious banter and a cool, well thought out approach to reviewing the movies they watch (I really like the MVP/LVP votes, for example). I don't tend to listen to many podcasts, but this one I'll definitely look forward to listening to as each episode comes out. --Mucci P.S. If you two watch the whole AFI 100 Movies list, start with "Swing Time" because things can only get better from there. It's by far the worst movie of the 100 (at least on the 2007 list).

    Hilarious
Awesome listening to two married people bicker and joke about movies/their life. Don't take this show seriously! Just have fun with it!

    Zero stars actually
If you like listening to five year olds review films, this is for you.
