    Wow
Epic storyline and a decent ending

    Exciting with lots of twists
I love this! I could binge but I’m trying to drag it out as there is no season three at this time. Main character can be abrasive at times but she grows on you. So many twists and turns to this plot! Great job!

    Bingeworthy but protagonist unlikeable
Others have said this which I appreciate - I listened through all of this in a couple days and I actually think the acting was good, and the story kept me going. I was rolling my eyes at the main character (not her acting, but her behavior). So over the top rude (?) that it was kind of unbelievable.

    Favorite podcast
I was not really a podcast person then I found this one. I really enjoyed the story. I listened to it for my 6.5 hour drive and I couldn’t stop thinking about it when I was done driving. Lol I’m so sad that there are no plans for a season 3 at this point.

    Hard to hear
I found this podcast to be very hard to hear in the car and had to rewind a lot. Also the main character was annoying but good way to pass the time driving

    Good story
The story kept me listening. I binged it in a few nights. I hated the lead character. Way too judgmental and holier than thou.

The good: acting is ok, with the older actors actually being pretty decent. The bad: everything else. Zero production value — no effects to create a sense of ambience, no music to enhance the mood. The producers got a bunch of people to record dialogue, but did absolutely nothing to make this even the tiniest bit immersive. All of that pales compared to the maddening incompetence and inefficiency of the lead character. The writer(s) are emotional, not rational, thinkers, and saddled lead character with their inadequacies. Maybe this show gets better in subsequent eps, but I was so frustrated that I bailed before finishing even the pilot.

    This should be a movie.
I am convinced that this show is somehow inspired by MH370. Very well done storyline and the acting is top notch. I really hope the story could continue with another season or maybe even a film adaptation. Well done.

    Protagonist horrible
The beginning had a great hook, pretty well produced, but the the protagonist was selfish, boring and unlikable. When she started bullying a grieving woman, I was done. Some of the actors were good ( like the grieving woman) but they just highlighted the deficiencies of the protagonist. No reason for me to sympathize with the protagonist. Her brother died- now she wants to make other people suffer for it.

One of the best audio dramas out there!
Perfect production design (even the way they produce their ads are amazing), fantastic writing and outstanding cast (really makes me wish Kelly Marie Tran was performing more, because she KILLS IT in this)!

    Enthralling
Great story telling - so many possibilities it keeps me a bit on edge!

Good story but acting is obnoxious
The story is actually good and intriguing. The acting, however, is absolutely horrible almost makes it not worth listening to.

    BRILLIANT!

    Kaitlin
Her character was not only unlikeable but ridiculous. How did she find all her exploits? Best a bunch of intelligence agencies. Yeah don’t think so! And Thomas the spy just heading into the site with no backup, weapons. Please! I wish I hadn’t wasted all this time. At least the ending was satisfying. The brat had it wrong and deflected everyone from the real danger. Serves her right.

    Binged
Absolutely LOVED this!! Found it one day for background noise while working and binged the entire thing in 2 days. It’s so good!

Why did you make so much of the storyline about Arabs being careless?
    So disappointed.

    Can’t get enough
I love love love this podcast. I cannot get enough

    Main character is the worst
Her personality is so unbelievably selfish, immature, and repulsive that I could not finish the series. The repeated heavy breathing and huffing is grating. I will absolutely not finish it, I’m disappointed I wasted as much time as I did just giving it a chance.

    Ok
Main character is annoying. Too many different snippets of conversations. Hard to follow all of it.

    Loved this
I loved this podcast. Doesn’t seem like everyone agrees, but the jumping around and changing of persons/storylines was awesome and kept my attention allowing me to really dive into the plot. I guess I can see why others would disagree considering it is easy to follow a storyline like this one when a visual is present. However, I loved the twists and the tangible plot that this series had. I will say the parts clearly making fun of conservatives and conspiracy theorists wasn’t really necessary. The ending was not as drastic as I thought it would be but I would recommend !

I couldn’t even make it through the first episode
First of all, listening to the main character huffing and puffing and whining is a nightmare. Secondly, she is so unlikable as a person that I didn’t want to spend any time with her. Finally, the sequencing and general storyline don’t blend to make sense for a listener. Someone said it was like listening to a movie. I agree. Listening to a movie that jumps around with no visual context.

    Propaganda and bad writing
Full of propaganda mocking conservatives, especially in season 2. Starts strong in season 1, but story goes downhill.

    Exciting mystery story!
The plot is intricate and twisty, and the voice actors are excellent. I was intrigued all the way through to the end!

    Great story
Love the full cast dialogue and the story line keeps you hanging on for more. Wish I was bilingual at times! Hahaha

    Don’t waste your time.
The acting is fine, the voices work. The producing and edit is terrible. The writing is unrealistic, even for the a maybe-supernatural, maybe sci-if mystery. I was shoved out of my willing suspension of disbelief within the first 20 minutes. Why would a woman grieving the loss of (or in denial about) her twin, be willing to lie to another grieving woman, about knowing the location of their government abducted child? I saw the lie coming the minute she said she know where the child was, and I turned off the podcast the moment it was confirmed. I wasn’t willing spend another second with such an unsympathetic character, and neither will you. There are much better podcasts out there.

    Good show
Good story but some of the dialogue is quiet and difficult to understand.

    Passenger List
Decent show but way to much crying, heavy breathing over acting by Katlin repeating things and whispering all the time annoying at times. They Repeat conversations over and over that has nothing to do with the show and cover more about the relationships with family that means zero to the show time filler etc. Could of been done in half the time.

    Awesome!
I love this show! So many twists and turns.

    Love it
Just what I was looking for.
  • Tomagra
    Atrocious acting, clunky writing
It has the flow of a 1990’s video game dialogue.

    Not bad
Binged this over two days. Ending was meh. I think it could have been a lot better. However it was still entertaining! Would recommend

    Amazing
I stumbled across this show and it was one of the best shows I have listened to! Couldn’t stop listening. I listened to each season back to back!

    Excellent
Excellent writing, production and voice acting. Absolutely the fiction podcast I’ve heard.
  • Jwojo
    Enjoyable but prepare for disappointment
Entertaining enough, however be prepared to not be satisfied with the conclusion. Show seems like it lost its way in season 2 and came up with a lazy ending, not really tying things together. Again, not awful but not awesome.
  • JulesinAtlanta
Well acted and great sound effects
Kept me engaged and entertained. Loving this genre of podcasts and this one is the best I’ve listened to so far.

    Season 2 Disappointment
Loved S2. Was excited for S2, but pace was so slow, so many dead ends and new characters that didn’t add to the story at all. Then an abrupt ending. Had to listen to the last episode multiple times to get what the ending actually was.

All is not well that doesn’t end well
After a riveting first season one would have expected a second that would fly as high if not higher. That didn’t happen. It tailspun and crashed in the frozen tundra.

    Great Listen!
Loved the podcast, I was on the edge of my seat and I loved all the acting.

Better than academy award winning movies!
This was as well written, acted, and produced as any academy award winning movie or Emmy award winning tv show. This audio drama really stuck with me. And there were so many subtleties that I went back and listened to the whole thing from beginning to end again and heard even more detail. Just like you watch your favorite movies over and over. I can’t recommend Passenger List highly enough.

    Unpleasant Sounds
Acting was good, and I loved who they chose for the main character, but a few weeks after listening I can’t remember enough about the plot to comment much on the story. S1 felt like a big tease, then S2 was a whole different thing, and the two seasons didn’t mesh up well at all. Then there was a rushed ending. Maybe that was deliberate? To mimic what happens with a TV show that has to wrap up mid-season when it gets cancelled? Like a big comment on trying to write for TV? So besides that, this show is full of unpleasant sounds. Muffled audio with lots of static, rumbling, and bumping of the mic is a great way for underfunded, remotely-recorded audio dramas to hide unmatched recordings. But I expect something a bit easier on the ears from a big budget show like this. It was something I was looking forward to. That, and I was hoping for a show with the confidence to not explain why there were audio recordings at all. So those two things were disappointing. Then (and this is something that doesn’t typically bother me) there were lots of really loud mouth noises through S2. I’ve never heard anything like it. Why? Why would anyone decide to deliberately make the sound like this?

    Season 3?
Will there be a season 3? It did not seem as if season 2 satisfactorily wrapped it up. It must not by THE END!

A mystery podcast that actually delivers!
Just finished season 2. The writing, acting, and production are excellent, and the plot and clues pay off in creating a satisfying story. It’s extremely tense and enjoyable, and really sticks the landing. Wonderful show!
